  1. Re: The Festival.. Best Race? Best Memory? [For me, Katie Walsh on Poker De Sivola, not only cos i backed it but her & nina carberry coming to the last neck and neck and possibly the best jump would win the race, we often see poor rides at the away meetings, these girls really know how to ride. The look on her face when she won said it all and Ruby was in the winners enclosure waiting for her. ] ----------- have to agree with bowles10 here--also backed this 1--but nothing to do with voting for this performance--out of the top drawer, truely great ride and not many jockeys[men] coulda done better.Would go as far as to say the ride of the season:clap Also great to see such loving parents supporting thier kids and being so proud of there achevements and not being embaressed to show thier feeling to all:ok Had a bloody lump in my throat and shead a couple of tears

  2. Re: It's half-time over at Cheltenham Had a good Chelt so far with all my selections bar 2 running good races,{but both my anti post bet went down[had backed Osana all winter for the Arkle--woulda won a good load if he had won, and Bensalem for RSA--nr]SLIGHTLY DISAPAPONTED with Osana's ride--woulda prefered him to be pushing the pace--but he still ran a good race to finish 3rd} Tues. bets winners-- menorah, quevega other bets--osana --3rd,bensalem-- fell when going well, kyber king 2nd Wed. bets winners poker de sivola, big zeb,cue card other bets-knockara beau 4th,reve de sivola2nd,silk affair[ran poor] stars du granits[ ran poor] BTW the only reason i backed "cue card" was i wanted to see the bumper live on internet and had to have bet to do so,and had seen him win FTO easily, which is pretty rare for a tizzard horse[normally his horses are givinn easy intro's]---and my he was so impressive today

  6. Re: Richard Johnson & Jamie Spencer Richard Johnson however is a different story. Up until this season, I always gave him the benefit of the doubt. But recent events have seen some very basic errors from a guy who is supposedly one of the best. The ride he gave Menorah was nothing short of scandalous, and the fact that there are some very decent up and coming jocks who could be getting some of these rides kind of annoys me. I do still back horses he rides, but only if they are from my list of horses to follow - but I really would rather have another jock carrying my money so to speak. -------------------------------------------- maybe i'm silly---but thought this ride was a great education for the horse["menorah"] for his future races right--he got beat--in a race he should have won ,but the horse did everything the jockey asked him to do---a stop start ride, and not once did the horse flinch--did everything the jockey asked him to do If anyone seen him running at doncaster against bobby ewing--where he did not settle and wanted to do it his way--and had nothing left for the finish. I'm sure this horse will benefit in future races from the teaching from the said jockey And come 1.30pm on tuesday we may see the finished article

  7. Re: Celeb Poker Stole my Irish Open Ticket

Nah He did the damage limitation post and scarpered
-------------------------- think CelebPoker explained it pretty clearly in his post. BTW how can something be stolen---when it did'nt belong to you in first place???
  8. Re: Celeb Poker Stole my Irish Open Ticket Like yourself pistonbroke,i downloaded and deposited £25 on CelebPoker to play this cardgang game.{and was lucky enough to finish in top 10[7th i think]}. I got 2 tickets for the $2,000 new depositers freeroll--for my deposit--which i thought was fair[as you normally only get 1 on most other sites]. Good on you wangling the extra tickets"weekend","barca",and the "guaranteed",all these mentioned games are invite games with no moneytary entry. As i said earlier i came 7th in cardgang so knew i had won 1 ticket to the I/Open sat.,but after seeing your thread on "the tourney"the following day--i opened up celebpoker and checked my account[2 tickets]. I knew their was a mistake somewhere, and later the 2nd ticket was withdrawn and "CelebPoker's" remarks--justify what i beleived to have happened. {Was a buy-in, with a standard pay out of money. Furthermore the top 10 received *on top* of the normal pay out *one* token for the Irish Open qualifier. These tokens are issued manually and due to an admin mistake a few of the players (yourself included) received two tokens. As soon as we found out, these second tokens were removed. I apolgise for not informing you and explaining of its removal at the time.} ---------- Mistakes do happen

  9. Re: FrenchHeadsUp--final qualifier tonight--5 seats At around 8pm UK last night the ongame network had an IT issue that meant tournaments starting after this time were cancelled. There were similar issues with other ongame partners. Unfortunately it meant the Grand Final that you qualified for was not played. So to qualify for this prestigious televised tournament next week, we are rescheduling the FINAL for 8.30pm Wednesday night. We sincerely hope you can play to win the guaranteed $9,500 prize, which is a 5.500 Euro buyin and 1.500 Euro 5 star hotel accommodation and travel money For those of you who cannot make tomorrow night’s final we will repay your buyins from the qualifying phase and double this as compensation. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and wish you good luck at the tables.

Kind Regards, Phoebe Williams The EurosportBET Team
