  1. Re: Live Games in South Wales

i'm gonna go down this week with my mate - what time is early enough to get a seat stooo? cant see me being able to afford to go often but will post here when going and can meet you down there if we can get a night we can both make it. you up for friday steve'o or will it depend on winnings from thursday ;)
Get there at 7ish mate and you'll be fine i should think. It usually has a lot of young players who are very loose to say the least at the start. So I always play super tight at least until the first break. But yeah post when you are going down in future and I'll see if i can make it.
  2. Re: Live Games in South Wales

anyone played the Friday Night £10 Freeze-Out at the grovesnor in cardiff bay?
Yeah quite a few times. It gets about 50/60 players but i'd get there early as it fills up pretty quick. I to will come down if you guys are going. Cant make this fri but would be up for next week.

  5. Hey guys, I'm finally getting around to use the $215 tourney ticket that I won a few weeks back on Pokerstars. The question is which tournament do you think i should enter? Go for the Warm up ($750k Gtd) where the field is about 3500... Or screw that and swing for the fences and go for the big one the Sunday Million ($1.5mil GTD) which has about 7500 enterants? Also I've not played a game with this many starting chips or as many entrants (well when its not a freeroll anyways) so any advice etc? Stooo

  6. Re: Pokerstars $215 prizes Fairplay I'm LOVING the optimism DK. We can worry about how the $$$s are transferred once they are won and we settle up. I'm planning on making a serious run at the sunday milly tomoz but I'm out tonight in Cardiff after the rugby so will see how I'm feeling and go from there. Anyone know what the starting chips are in that?

  7. Re: Pokerstars $215 prizes

To be honest I'm not really that interested in playing the million with the big boys and would rather have the cash. Someone has told me that I can split the ticket for use in STTs etc. (I don't play stars much so no idea how it all works.) If this is true I think I'd rather play a bunch of $20 STT's where I have a chance of making some money. Good luck to those of you that do play. What kind of numbers do the warm-up and the million get and what sort of payout structure is it?
Yeah thats what i wanted to do. But you cant exchange em for tournie dollars. it just gives you your entry ticket back. Sucks a fat one but we'll just have to go deep in the sunday mil to compensate.
  8. Re: PokerStars World Cup of Poker Freerolls
