  1. Re: Germany - Bundesliga - 23-25 September I see both matches in Bundesliga ending without a winner. Cologne didn't found a form yet, but think they will manage to keep one point. Hoffenheim is good team, but can't see them winning here. Both great teams, maybe Werder with all youngsters is more dangerous, but Hertha's form is also great, so small stakes on draw. Sorry for short text, don't have much time and reasons, except... Strong feelings a guess.

  2. Re: Uefa Champions League 15/16 September

P.S. Not much my business guys' date=' [/b']but many of you will do yourself a favour if you simply stop waiving tens of thousands of Euros or US Dollars around the forum. I do not think you will impress anyone here with cash - as a rule those who are LOADED LOADED do not waste time in forums, they have work to do. AND above all even if I am wrong, it is about time you learn a key word - modesty - how do you think a small-time punter feels here after a winning acca with 5 Euro when he reads about ''ten thousands on a double''. I would think either I do not belong to the ''PL Elite Club'' or a bunch of idiots are meeting here. AND I am still having fun, i.e. I could have been a lot older.
Totally agree with you. Everyone knows how much money will spend for betting. No need for more words.
  3. Re: World Cup Qualifiers - September 9/10 I read here and on others forums and bet sites, match Bosnia & Herzegovina vs Turkey should and will be over 2,5 goals. Don't know how many times I burn my self with such, "sure" bets. Indeed, it should be over, but what if will not be? So I'll try with under, small stakes... Probably I'm wrong and all overs are right, but who knows. Here are stats from some betting site: Over 2.5 98.2% Under 2.5 1.7% Interesting lol.

  4. Re: Champoins League Final - 27th of May - Barcelona v Man U

On the contrary, English people are the harshest critics when it comes to English sporting teams. I wouldn't dream of suggesting we have the best cricket team, the greatest athletes or the best golfers etc. When it comes to club football and performance in the champions league the English teams are the best, pointing this out doesn't amount to arrogance it is simply stating the truth of the matter. Just for the record nobody will be happier than me if Barcelona win tonight but I stand by my comments regarding Platini. There is also no need to bomb him, the white flag will be up long before it gets to that stage ;).
OK mate, Spain has the best tennis player, China best ping-pong players, etc. Just one more thing: Italy, Spain and England has the same amount of winners in Champions League, just Italy have most runners-up. White flag turned on, hope it will be great show. It's just one thing I hate by the football: defensive style. That lead to no goals and without goals this game is boring. :) I'll be also happy if Barca win, but if they win I hope with style and fair game. :hope
  5. Re: Champoins League Final - 27th of May - Barcelona v Man U

You're right I for one will be checking to see how many English players line out tonight, because they are the best ;) should be at least 11 then and with my tongue firmly planted in my cheek, how come nobody mentioned football when they were slagging Johnny Foreigner about stealing all them jobs from the Brits ? apparently they're cheaper to pay as well !
And not to mention a national team. In those days the Croats were better in smartest and fastest. ;)
  6. Re: Champoins League Final - 27th of May - Barcelona v Man U

I'm sure Mr Hickie was only trying to add a little comedy to proceedings, dealing in facts is all well and good but not everything is life has to be taken at face value ;). Agreed Henry did score an incredible goal against Manchester United, but no amount of tactical genius can prevent such moments of outrageous individual skill. Finally, while it will never be possible to provide clear evidence that Platini is deliberately attempting to sabotage English hopes in Europe, his blatant distaste, bordering on jealousy, of English success is there for all to see.
I just love this English arrogance. English people think they are the best, the smartest, but hey, the whole world is learning english language, so maybe they are right. Let's bomb Platini. I personally hope this will be fair match. And hope that Barca will shout: WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS.
  7. Re: Champoins League Final - 27th of May - Barcelona v Man U Can't wait for tomorrows match. I have read all the posts here, some I agree, some not. Barcelona defence is really bad and attack very good. Messi and Henry together are fantastic, but hope the middle line will do their job. Etoo is something like weather, but it seems under the pressure he's quite bad. On the other side ManU, who I don't give much credit if Barca will play their game. OK, Rooney is fantastic and working player, Gigs also. Defence really great. But still, if joker Ronaldo will not score soon, he will play a Wounded Man. Just like to know how referee will react. All in all, I would like to see Barca win. I heard Guardiola analyzed all Manchester matches in this season. Maybe that will be some extra help, since Fergusson is still a better coach. Not now, but tomorrow I'll play big money on Barca. I'm pretty sure Manchester will not be the first team after Milan who will hold the title. Red Star began with this tradition and think this season the tradition will not be broken.

  8. Re: UEFA Champions League » May 05/06 Some person here, at age of 29 seems have too many emotions and is not thinking with his own head. Whole world? Hmm, everyone I spoke with agreed that referee did some mistakes, but they are all glad that footbal won. So called experts can be also those who saw three clear penalties, lol. And they are not mentioning anything about not fouled red card. About not giving Drogba yellow card for fauls simulation. Mistakes can be in every match. Just read 1907zico's last post, he is a wise man and stop to be childish.

  9. Re: UEFA Champions League » May 05/06

red card was logical outcome, Anelka would have been on his way alone towards goal, there was a contact from Abidal, so even slightest contact is red card by rule, not less not more. We saw poorest performance of Barca in this CL season, especially Dani Alves was a joke today, only Xavi reached normal form IMO. We saw at least two 100% penalties, which were not given to chelsea, even after I checked in replays now: 1. Alves fouling clearly in penalty zone first half, and 2. hand play by Pique in second!! I think Platini got what he wanted for "HIS" final. What a scandal at this high stage of CL was that???Ridiculous confused.gif Take a look into newspapers tomorrow and you'll get a feeling what people all over the world think about this match, and I am sure you will see very often the word "Scandal" Even if Barca wins final, it will be undeserved because ref clearly manipulated today's match.
Look, I will not continue this useless debate. Your eyes wanna see what they wanna to see. Red card is never, never a logical outcome if you DON'T TOUCH somebody, right? Yes, we saw the poorest performance from Barca, especially from Alves and Etoo, but We saw also 180 mins of WALL, 180 mins of anti-football. Poorest performance by Chelsea and they could be ashamed by that. Ok, will look into the paper, even though I'm sure I'll read a little more fair story, like yours.
  10. Re: UEFA Champions League » May 05/06

THIS WAS a 100% RIGGED MATCH :@, Shame on UEFA, Shame on Barca, shame on that wank*** of ref!!:puke At least 3 clear penalties not given to Chelsea, in a CL semifinal, ridiculous!! Hail Drogba, who said it directly into TV Cameras to whole world after match, at least one footballer has cojones :ok
Red card was a same shame as two not given penalties. I have never seen somebody fall down alone and then somebody one meter behind him to get a red card. Yes, two penalties, not three. Hail Drogba? C'mon, he falls like a tissue, then he needs to stand up somewhere between 2-3 mins... Drogba is so anti-player, I can compare him with Ronaldo. And after all, he is the most louder, lol. Also Cech, he was able to be quick when the lead was lost. All in all, 180 mins of bad football by Barcelona and especially by Chelsea "The Wall".
  11. Re: UEFA Champions League » May 05/06 I was thinking about this match and all various things were in my mind. But all in all, I think we will not see a winner here, both teams, ManU and Arsenal will use some cautious... Recent stats are irelevant here, IMO. So my picks are draw, both teams to score and CS 1:1. Small stakes of course.

  12. Re: Champions League: Group Stage- Matchday 5 Wednesday 5th November Real Madrid - Juventus Think only bet for me today. Yesterday I won Panathinaikos and Liverpool/Atletico, so I could play a little more, but for now only one game. Think Juve is a little better team right now, or at least in better form. Also none draw in 6 matches. I see a low scoring match, where both sides would be satisfied with a point. Draw 6/10.

  13. Re: Champions League: Group Stage- Matchday Three Tuesday 21st October

Celtic are badly over priced at 17s, I'd have them closer to 10s. I don't fancy them at all, but as a value prop it has merit
Indeed. 17.00 is really overpriced as CL matches can sometimes go either way... Maybe small small punt is worth as I think Celtic will not give up... Just wondering what will tomorrows form of MU be?
  14. Re: Champions League: Group Stage Matchday 1- Wed 17th September

Bets are : 4 team acca : Celtic Arsenal Porto Bayern Returns about £43 :) Also taking samaras to score a hatrick and celtic to win 3-1 , i dreamt about it :lol:lol:lol wills have 40/1 on the hattrick and 10/1 for 3-1 , anyone know what odds it would be for the double :lol:lol
Hmm I think at least one team will draw here. Maybe Porto or Arsenal...
  15. Re: Champions League: Group Stage Matchday 1- Wed 17th September

In the end' date=' my major bet for the night, 'all in' [u']Real Madrid 1.10 (bet365). No doubt about it. :nana
It's always doubt, remember Roma and Luxembourg. Indeed that was not CL but its' eleven guys against eleven guys. I'm not saying Real will not win, but is it worth to play 1,10? My favourite bet today is Zenit to win Juve. Zenit has a great team, fast players and I have a strong feeling they can cause damage to slow Juventus.
  16. Re: Semi Final 2 - Russia v Spain I hope this will be fantastic match. Can't see the Russians failed at this stage, they are in great condition. Yes Hiddink know Dutch players, but that doesen't mean he don't have a strategy for Spain squad. The first match was bad for Russians, but I think today we will see a different story. All players move enough to destroy Spain. Well not much luck with Euro 08, but today I have strong feeling. Arshavin to score anytime 5/10 Russia win 10/10 Over 2,5 goals 10/10 Thats my bets, if you don't share the same feeling, bet like you think it's right. :) Good luck. :hope

  17. Re: Spain v Italy - 4th Quarter Final dj purry I don't understand you much, but anayway... I don't like Toni. Don't like his look when he shoot 5 meters over the goal... Well I know Italy has had much of luck over those years, but some day that will stop. Hope that day will be today. Spain is good team, better than Italy and my bet will be Spain to qualify.

  18. Re: Netherlands v Russia - 3rd Quarter Final Yestersay I totally failed, but can't go away from my system. Today everybody will play on Dutch, but I think Russians can take all 3 points here. The odds are great, but still very risky bet. The best option would be over 2,5. No team will wait for chance, like yesterday. Hope today will be better day. :hope

  19. Re: Croatia v Turkey - 2nd Quarter Final

Tempted to place a draw, but I have a sneaky feeling that Turkey can nick this one in regulation time. They are capable of pilling pressure on opponent's defence and Croatia will crack under pressure. But, Croatia will score as well. So a TG Over is tempting. Initial Picks TG Over 2.25 @ 2.02 Turkey @ 4.38 Going for a high scoring match, so Turkey 3 - 1 @ 67 Turkey 2 - 1 @ 17 Turkey 4 - 2 @ 81 More on my picks later today...
Agree with you mate. I was also temped for a draw, but this tournament is almost without draws. I think it will be high scoring match, both teams are good. So my choice is over 2,5, over 3,5 and small bet on Turkey. I think they are a little better than Croats. Good luck. :cheers
  20. Re: Portugal v Germany -1st Quarter Final Not many draws on this tournament, it's kind a strange for me. With my logic I would bet on draw, but after some heavy thoughts I'm not too sure. After watching all games I can say that Portugal is much better team, strong in defence (eventhough some mistakes) and fast and creative in ofence. So I have taken at @2,60 (yesterday) Portugal to win. Portugal win, CS 2:1 or 2:0 EDIT: agree with others, over 2 would be most safer bet.
