Well done to Kev, a second win in the month and clear winner of the league for May.  Looks like it must have been carnage in the game with it not making it to the second break!
The other prize spots are claimed by our other 2 monthly leg winners, with Elliott picking up another podium position to claim 2nd overall, and Simon just holding off Ian for 3rd place.
Well done to the winners and thank you to everyone who played this month.  As it's a Bank Holiday week and also been a low turnout this month I think we'll just take a week off this week with the extra May Wednesday and restart in June.   I'll sort winners details out meanwhile.

McG takes the win in last week's PLO leg to bring him into contention in the league but despite being first out Rav still holds onto the top spot as we go into the final leg tonight.  Lots of us with no 4th score points to drop so will be counting full points for tonight's result and it's very close on points all round so expect some changes to those podium places.
It's NLHE with 5000 chips, starts at 8.10pm with the usual 20 mins added late reg.

February champion rosco picked up where he left off and started the new month with another win. Can anyone stop the demon of the dales this month!  Leg 2 is tonight with another round of NLHE.  Start 8.10pm as usual with 20mins added registration for busy people/latecomers/anyone stuck in snow.  

The predicted open race for the cash materialised last week with Danshot taking the win and jumping up into 2nd overall from 5th place, with a 1st and 2nd place finish over the month.   Even more remarkably, I managed to finish runner up for my second podium of the month and leapt from 7th into 3rd overall.   Rosco maintained his clear lead and is the February champion with 2 wins and a 4th.   No-one else managed 2 podiums this month.

Another upside down week where those lower down the league did well, so Rosco still has a healthy lead despite missing the game.  Well done to Rivrd who took the PLO win and jumps up to 3rd place, but we have a very tightly bunched chasing pack behind meaning just about anyone could get into the added value spots.
Final leg is tonight, usual 8.10pm with 20 mins added.  It's NLHE with 5000 chips, extra points available with double the entrants in the formula. 

2 wins in a row and a mostly topsy turvy turnaround from leg 1 for the rest of us leaves Rosco well in the lead at the top of the league after 2 legs this month.
Will tonight's PLO leg make a dent in that lead? Game on at 8.10pm.
