    When it comes to these leagues knowing your stuff only gets the win 50% of the time... :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol Just Kidding... these look very solid on paper... but there is a crazy element to most of these leagues as there is no real way of telling team lists whether conditions... or watever else you may deem important in a football match... tho we have all put out hard earned down so we would hope that we know wat we are talking about....:ok

I will be sticking with a select few 2night... all at about $1.8 I am looking at: Stirling Lions, Glenroy and Western Knights... all away teams however I cant see anything that suggest that these teams shouldnt win... small doubt over Glenroys recent results away... but if they were going 2 beat som1 it will be Darebin. Will take the following: Glenroy 1.72 Stirling Lions 1.8 Western Knights 1.8 3 x 3 unit singles 3 x 1.5 units doubles 1 x 1 unit treble total = 14.5units Potential return= 35.68units GL all and lets pray 4 a better week than last...:ok

I mean meritt ran about a metre to the forward and the side.... the marker stands esentially still... and he is "crowding the paly th ball"... wtf kinda call is that... really common sense (seemingly never used)

I have no doubt they will be victorious tonight but have decided to take them @ -1.5... priced @ 2.8 this is tremendous value... this is obviously a smaller stakes bet but i am confident that a favourable result is a 50/50 chance or at worst 40/60... even then the price is sound.... gl all lets hope we all pull the winners 2night....:ok

I mean please widders was a good metre off side with his hand out... rediculous... panthers really cutting souths up the middle but with penalties 6-2 u cant blame them for being behind... with everything going souths way u cant help but think 4-0 wont be enough... at least I cant....:ok

Penrith Panthers v South Sydney Rabbitohs The Panthers finally did something to prove to me that they were not just a pile of shit last week... they were up against a manly team that was bound to lose eventually as they seem to only scrape by week 2 week, despite this I was extreemely impressed at the way they attacked the game at times... for the firat time this year I enjoyed watching them (No small feat as a Parra fan... I find myself as I am wirting this Loathing every fibre of the black cats...). Souths... well they have lost 5 in a row now and are just not scoring... they have only won once in their past 8 outings... scoring only more than 20points once in a 22-23 loss 2 the knights... pathetic really while they have the 3rd best defensive rating in the comp the team is really struggling to form a halves combination to push the troops around the park and really they dont look like pulling anything extra ordinary tonight with Ben Rogers and Jeremy smith being the selections... they may snap back to scoring form but it will be a 1 game thing... I can really see no permanent cohesion here and wouldnot bank on them showing up with a good performance. The balls of this game is really the attitude of the teams... really who shows up tonight will win... both teams have the motivation that some punters out there may be looking for... The bunnies on a 5 game loosing streak really must win 1 soon but the same could be said in their last 2 games and while they showed a little spark against GC surely only an inspirational speach from the Gladiator himself can inspire the boys to come out and make a stand... Penrith are looking for their first 2 in a row for a very long time... this is an important game for them in the context of the season aswell especially if they actually have aspirations of making the 8 (I am sure they do) and with Wesser having time for his minor injury to recovery will hopefully back at his best tonight, he really didnt impress greatly last week tho scoring a try his injury really hampered him often seen limping slightly back into position during off play he will add alot to the team at his best. The bunnies have a 1-0 win rate over panthers @ telstra but that surely has no meaning in this game The pricing on this game may be accurate (1.72 for Penrith.... 2.10 for Souths) if both teams showed up with both teams having a chance and Penrith having a slight advantage however i am almost certain that in low spirits the Bunnies wont pull off a miracle performance here 9/10... So the game comes down to what my first thoughts relating to this game were... that is will Penrith show up... :ok 6units Penrith win @ 1.72 (Bet365) 2units Penrith win 13+ @ 3.30 (Sportingbet) Either way the game goes if the bunnies lead they will attempt to close the game down while the Panthers finish games strongly on a regular basis... this bet may provide a saver should the bunnies find their feet early and even if panthers are ahead they will likely pound the points on a emotionally defeated team... 3units Penrith to score last @ 1.72 (Bet365) Gl all with this tonights game...     Re: MLB Top Selections?? I was on them @ 1.57... they were @ a similar price around... certainly no more than 1.65.... I will work over the next week to sort out an ideal cuttoff... will post here... hopefully we can work it out over the next 2 weeks or so....:ok I think I will start 1.6 and do 1.7, 1.8, 1.9.... that will be it....

    again there is a pair on the board. Now 3 times the big blind for me in this situation was not big enough to put of BB with calling you with connectors. I would have raised 300 to see where I stood with AJ. As it was the big chip called with 7' date='6 for 100.. There followed a check check check situation. Now again for me here is the play that makes a difference.. You have bet 250 and were called.Then there is the 450 raise. Here is where with 3 in the pot Id have folded. Any possibilty that AA, KK, QQ, JJ,88 or any 6 could be in play and I d be in serious trouble. Id have folded at that point Im afraid.. I certainly see why you called but for me the initial raise just invited BB to call. A bigger raise at the start should have put him off and then you are heads up in an all in with the other AJ for a split pot as it happens[/quote'] Possibly but my possition with chips is not great and really AJ is not the most solid of hands... this was a action game with many raises I really wanted 2 put myself in a position that it wouldnt affect me so much to fold 2 a reraise.... really I will not raise more than 3-4x bb with this hand... investing more could be fatal.... in this case the opp was but i say in this case... I believe in the past acting in a more conservative way with AJ has worked 2 my benefit... really its situational and in this situation raising more MAY have helped... but really what more can i raise... certainly 5x the blind would be the absolute max I have 1100 chips thats 250 in the pot preflop raise w AJ... surely thats not the way 2 go... all of a sudden im pot commited allin against AK with slim chances... In writting this it has reafirmed in my mind that my preflop raise is more realistic than what your suggesting... unless of course you have software that could see that caller 1 has AJ and that 2 6's would flop against a 76... really ur suggesting putting more than 25% of my stak in preflop w AJ... with that I most definately disagree... wow I really love this banter... good stuff....:ok Agree though with everything other than preflop comments....

I am finding it difficult to get the information to make my own bets and quite often just consider what others are saying and select what I believe are the best... I am not particularly comfortable with this method of selection and wish to make my own decisions... could you give me a hint or 2 where 2 start...:ok

    Fair enough and I agree with you... but there was more 2 it than what is shown above... id been playing with him 4 an hour... he would not chek raise with that hand...     Cheers mate, I will continue to post the selections I just thought I was talking to myself and there wasn't much point in that as I do that enough anyway!! :lol It certainly is a mixed bag and I am sure money would be made by laying the clear favourites blindly!!! Anyway, with regards to the selections the Team Experts are looking very good just now, they only just missed out on a clean sweep last night.
    May paper test that blindly laying big favs.... perhaps.... cheers....:ok
