Eurovision Song Contest 2004 bingo! found the entrants so far here- www.eurovisiondatabase.co.uk/ Most are on video and ill put the links on this thread with a nice picture of the performers and my views on each song (i wont do the 'go down a bomb in local disco's' for the Israeli entry:o ) www.eurovisiondatabase.co.uk/ All i can say for now is that the Swiss entry wont be winning. Wonder if there are any odds about that we could grab early?

Right i know it's gay to like the Eurovision but we've found it a great betting medium the last two years. Last year slick and myself and others were on Turkey @ 25/1 and they won it on the last vote. It's a good Saturday night in slagging of our fellow europeans whilst getting pissed and then the voting last an hour and can be a bit tense. So get the family involved BEFORE the tourny by getting them to listen to ALL the songs and we'll all pool our resources again this year and get some handy readies for the next days Sunday Football. Right when is it?
Mmm duaL format. Might be interesting trying to get the winner from the semi's at large odds. I'll go and see if any of the possible semi winners are any good. Two consecutive draws were held yesterday in Istanbul, the host of the 49th Eurovision Song Contest, to determine the running-order for the Semi-Final and the Final. The dual event is organized by TRT (Turkish Radio Television). 2004 heralds a brand new format for the live contest: a Semi-Final on Wednesday 12 May and a Final on Saturday 15 May. A total of 36 countries will be taking part. The Semi-Final will comprise 22 countries in the following order: SEMI FINAL (May, 12th) 1. Finland 2. Belarus 3. Switzerland 4. Latvia 5. Israel 6. Andorra 7. Portugal 8. Malta 9. Monaco 10. Greece 11. Ukraine 12. Lithuania 13. Albania 14. Cyprus 15. F.Y.R. Macedonia 16. Slovenia 17. Estonia 18. Croatia 19. Denmark 20. Serbia & Montenegro 21. Bosnia & Herzegovina 22. Netherlands Ten of these will go on to the Final. A third draw will be held live immediately after the Semi-Final to decide the running-order of the qualifying semi-finalists. The Final will then comprise 24 countries: 10 qualifiers from the Semi-Final and 14 that have already secured their places. The 14 countries are: France, Germany, Spain and the UK (the four largest countries in the contest), Turkey (the 2003 winner) plus the nine other top-scoring countries in 2003: Austria, Belgium, Iceland, Ireland, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia and Sweden. At present the running-order for the Final is as follows: FINAL (May, 15th) 1. Spain 2. Austria 3. Norway 4. France 5. ---- (from semi final) 6. ---- (from semi final) 7. ---- (from semi final) 8. Germany 9. ---- (from semi final) 10. ---- (from semi final) 11. ---- (from semi final) 12. ---- (from semi final) 13. Belgium 14. Russia 15. ---- (from semi final) 16. ---- (from semi final) 17. Iceland 18. Ireland 19. Poland 20. United Kingdom 21. ---- (from semi final) 22. Turkey 23. Romania 24. Sweden -

excuse me but im drunk..... My Girlfriend - Town Centre 2.45am After many 'starts' My Girlfriend will be out-her-depth in this younger company. Reported as having a wind problem on last and was pulled up by the short and curlies by her owner (me) for trailing in home after coming from another county. Her speed-rating is that she likes it alot and is chapping at the bit. I see her as a great all-weather lay. :sleeping

Re: Australia - Jamaica
Australia 2 Jamaica 1 HARRY Kewell was back to his mercurial best as he led the injury-depleted Socceroos to a win over Jamaica in their friendly international at Reading's Madejski Stadium today. Kewell set up Australia's first goal and scored the decider, but could have scored half a dozen more in an entertaining match, the first time the two countries have played each other at any level. It was the first time Australia has played a home match outside Australia and the crowd of 8050 expatriate Australians and Jamaicans who made the 40-minute train journey from London to Reading was within expectations. Coach Frank Farina resisted the temptation to blood his younger squad members, with Mile Sterjovski the only uncapped player to take part, brought on for Mark Viduka with six minutes left in the match. By then Kewell, backed by Josip Skoko and Marco Bresciano, had put Australia into the lead and effectively shut down the lively Jamaican attack. Farina made one change at half-time, with the scores locked 1-1, bringing on Zeljko Kalac in goal in place of Mark Schwarzer. But the towering 31-year-old had little to do as the Socceroos dominated play, with Kewell, Bresciano and Skoko combining to create chance after chance for the Australians. Kewell had gone perilously close to scoring at least five times in the first half, with Jamaican goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts edging the best chance away with his fingertips. But he was not to be denied when he got on the end of a Paul Okon drive in the 58th minute. Surrounded by three Jamaican defenders, Kewell kept the ball on his toe and when Ricketts raced up out of the box to challenge, Kewell fired in his shot to the back of the net. AUSTRALIA 2 (Marco Bresciano 17 Harry Kewell 58) JAMAICA 1 (Kevin Lisbie 19) at Madejski Stadium, Reading. Referee: Andy D'Urso. -

Re: Australia - Jamaica I hate this bit Crowie. Especially as i could do with the bucks. Yeah i won some on the Italy game but it was nowhere near the £100 i mentioned earlier. Does anyone else in my position have the strange feeling like me that i actually WANT Jamiaca to score? I wanna sit in all pissed off and sad. Least i wont be out drinking. 90th minute :eek
-
Re: Australia - Jamaica Here's hoping Crowie. I just realised that in all my enthusiam i am guilty off after eventing here. It was the drink this morning:o I was a little worried with the England game and just stuck it in as it was on the telly (ok i broke all the rules, big accas, backing on friendlies etc) but i just wanted some action and by christ ive had it so far. At ht on the english game i said that England will come out and win 3-1. Someone gave me 50/1 on it in the pub. I gave him a couple of quid. You should have seen his face after the Beckham penalty :lol 76th minute still 2-1. Come on get in there!!!

Re: Australia - Jamaica 2-1 get in there!!!!!!! Been sitting on livesports.com just refreshng the page for the past hour :o Could do with the bucks you see :( Been lucky as fcuk so far, will it hold out?

Re: Australia - Jamaica The only info i can add is 'down with Jamaica!'. Come on the Kewell and Co. Here's hoping for no luck to the Reggae Boyz :)
