    Marseille vs Strasbourg
Ligue 1 offers up a plethora of decent value this week as it returns from the international break. We start our coverage with Marseille playing Strasbourg in an 8pm BST kick-off this Sunday night at the Stade Velodrome. The home side come into this as firm favourites but will the away side throw a spanner in the works and come out of this game with a shock win?
Marseille are going through a rough spell right now with Andre Villas-Boas' side sitting in 8th place after a winless streak of 4 league games. The team is now on 13 points from 9 matches but they are only 3 points off the Champions League qualification pace. The cause of concern right now for Marseille is the lack of goals being scored. Just 3 goals scored in their last 4 league games and a 3-1 defeat away to Amiens in their last game. It's simply not good enough.
Strasbourg will be keen to take advantage of Marseille's poor form. Manager Thierry Laurey has overseen his team struggle to make an impact this season. The club is sat in 17th place on 9 points with 2 wins, 3 draws, and 4 defeats from their matches so far. Only goal difference is keeping the team above the relegation zone. Despite picking up 2 wins from their last 4 league games it's still no wins from their games on the road this season.
I appreciate that now might not be a time when many people have much faith in Marseille but I think the international break came at the right time. It gave them a chance to pause for reflection and re-evaluate. Even though they'd not won in four league games it's still only 1 loss in their last 8. I expect them to get back to winning ways here and I wouldn't be surprised if Strasbourg's run without scoring a goal away from home continues.

cardiff should win but i'm not confident in backing against monk side sheff wed. they will give as good as the get.
going for huddersfield to win and i really need them to continue their resurgence. blackburn always lets themselves down because the concede goals and they will probably do it again
barnsley are underdogs in their match only because of their terrible season form. i just cannot see it continuing after two week international break. they need to clear their heads and win. i will give them the benefit of doubt
stoke has got to build on their win last time. i don't expect a quantum leap from them but i think they can hold fulham to a draw
i fancy west brom to win. i can't work out middlesbrough. i don't know if they are trying to score or trying not to concede. the outlook of west brom and slaven bilic is create chances, score goals and win games. it makes sense hence they are leaders in the league.
i like preston to win. when reading is on their game they surprise everyone but when not they get outclassed and that's what preston can do

    Accrington Stanley vs Ipswich
For the first time in a long time, I'm actually leaving the Saturday fixtures alone for this round of matches in this section. The first preview I'm doing is the midday clash on Sunday between struggling Accrington Stanley and table-topping Ipswich at the Crown Ground in League One. Can the home side start to turn their form around or will the visitors continue their excellent start to the season?
Accrington Stanley find themselves lingering just above the relegation zone in 20th place with 11 points from 12 matches. John Coleman continues to see his squad punch above their weight and with 2 wins and 5 draws from their league games so far it's clear to see why many bookies feel this might not be an easy game for Ipswich here. The club has found their home form left wanting with just 1 win from their 5 league games on home turf. 10 goals conceded in those 5 matches shows you exactly where the problem lies.
Ipswich sit proudly on top of the table and it's becoming clear that Paul Lambert's team are a cut above the rest in this division. It's 8 wins and 3 draws for the Tractor Boys as they remain 4 points clear of second placed Wycombe with a game in hand. Four wins on the bounce and just 1 goal conceded in 7 league games shows you how solid this defensive unit has become.
The odds being offered are quite decent for a team in the form of Ipswich. I understand why the bookies are cautious about going shorter but they've built an effective team around a resilient defence. This is the sort of game where I can see them scraping a hard-fought 1-0 win or maybe even doing enough to get a 2-1 victory if Accrington do manage to score. An away win seems like the best value.

    AFC Bournemouth V Norwich City
    AFC Bournemouth -0.75 AH @ 1.925 Matchbook
Bournemouth look like they're becoming the public bet of the weekend which is never a good sign but I have to agree with the previous posters here. This looks to be a game between two sides that like to get on the front foot and go for the throat. The difference between them is that Bournemouth are the more adept at said strategy whilst also having a stronger defence. Norwich's defensive issues are well documented both on this thread and in general, we can also be fairly confident that Daniel Farke wont change the way his team play. An expansive and soft centred Norwich is surely what the doctor ordered for a team like Bournemouth, especially on home turf.
The main concern here is that we are heading into this fixture off the back of the international break. We don't quite the know the fitness status of the players returning from international duty. Sometimes this can cause underperformance despite the situation looking good on paper. Should also be noted that Norwich still carry a dangerous offensive threat and teams simply cannot afford to be complacent or lower concentration when playing them.
Ultimately, if this game does turn into a wacky duck shoot then I favour Bournemouth to outscore their opponents. If we see a strong performance from Eddie Howe's side then a wider margin of victory is possible given the current status of this Norwich team.

    Bournemouth vs Norwich
The Premier League is back baby! It's felt too long and I'm speaking as a Welshman whose national side had a relatively positive international break! Anyway, it's Bournemouth versus Norwich in a 3pm BST kick-off this Saturday afternoon at the Vitality Stadium that kicks off our previews. Not the most glamorous of fixtures but there's some value to be had here people!
Bournemouth have been a delight to watch this season. Eddie Howe's men are situated in 10th place but it feels like they have the potential to go higher. It's now two league games without a win for the Cherries but given that has been a 2-2 draw against an in-form West Ham and a narrow 1-0 loss away to Arsenal that shouldn't be looked into too deeply. They've only lost 1 of their 4 league games at home and they could move into the European qualification spots with a win here.
Norwich started the season in a positive mood but it feels like the wind has been blown out of their sails recently. Daniel Farke's men have picked up some memorable results including the 3-1 home win against Newcastle and the momentous 3-2 victory at home over reigning champions Manchester City. However, the glaringly worrying fact is that it's 6 defeats from their 8 league matches and 4 defeats from 4 games on the road in league competition.
Teemu Pukki's goals have dried up and with just 1 goal in the last 310 minutes of league football it's not looking great for the Canaries. Bournemouth may play in a way that gives Norwich a chance to go at them but this away form for Farke's men has become a huge issue. I'm not sure the away side will get anything here and it looks like their three game losing streak in the league will continue. Callum Wilson also had 4 goals in his last 4 games for Bournemouth so he's worth backing to score any time against a Norwich side that has conceded an average of 2.63 goals per game.

    Blackburn vs Huddersfield
The second preview in this week's Championship thread is the 12:30pm BST kick-off this Saturday lunch-time between mid-table Blackburn and a Huddersfield side that might have turned a corner? The game is set to be played at Ewood Park and both teams will be keen to take all 3 points in an effort to ward off any early season pressure about being dragged into a relegation battle later on in the campaign.
Blackburn are in 14th place with 14 points from their 11 league games so far. It's been pretty standard stuff from Tony Mowbray's men up until now. 2 wins, 2 draws, and 2 losses at home is an insight into how inconsistent their season has been. Unfortunately, it's now three league games without a win for Rovers and anything but a win here would extend that run without a victory causing seeds of concern to be planted. Conceding 7 goals in those 3 games is the biggest worry.
Huddersfield made the shrewd appointment of Danny Cowley and it appears their decision might be starting to be validated. Having gone the first 9 league games without a win including 7 losses out of the first 8 league matches they are now undefeated in their previous three league games. This includes back-to-back victories against Stoke and Hull. Is the Cowley factor now starting to take a hold?
This is a hard game to call. Huddersfield are starting to shows signs of fulfilling the potential of their talented squad. However, Blackburn remain a very tricky side to beat on their own patch with only Charlton and Luton managing to come away with wins. My concern is that Blackburn have only won 1 of their last 4 league games at home so I think I'm favouring Huddersfield or a draw. I think I have to back the Huddersfield draw no bet.

    Exeter vs Forest Green
We turn our attention to League Two for our second preview this weekend. It's a highly-anticipated clash between 1st and 2nd at St James Park in a 3pm BST kick-off this afternoon when table toppers Forest Green travel to their closest competitors Exeter. The result of this game could have a huge impact on the destination of the title come the end of the season so this is a big one.
Exeter fans will be pleased with their club's start to the season with 6 wins, 5 draws, and just 1 loss. Matt Taylor has done a cracking job since he came in and if his side can take all three points here then they'll move to the top of the table. A concern for the Grecians is that it's now three league games without a win and just 1 win in their last 5 league games. It was also a disappointing day when they last played at home as the team succumbed to a 3-1 loss against play-off chasing Grimsby.
Forest Green are leading the way in League Two and Mark Cooper's stock continues to rise as a manager. Rovers have won 7, drawn 3, and lost 2 of their league games so far. An inconsistent start to the season has now been rectified and the club is now unbeaten in their last 6 league games. This has included a range of impeccable defensive displays with five clean sheets kept in that period.
The odds seem quite in favour of the home side given the difference in form of these two sides. Exeter have impressed me this season and Exeter do edge it in the ELO ratings. Forest Green just look so confident right now though. If they were available at shorter odds then I wouldn't be tempted to back them but I feel they can get something from this game so have to back a double chance.

    Rennes vs Reims
Ligue 1 is proving to be a bit of a minefield this season in terms of the betting but we'll keep on trekking with our bets. This week we take a look at the meeting between Rennes and Reims in a 4pm BST kick-off this Sunday afternoon from the Roazhon Park. There is very little separating these two sides in the league so this is effectively an early season six pointer.
Rennes are progressing well under head coach Julien Stephan. The club qualified for the Europa League this season and even though they have 1 point from their first two group games they've competed well against both Celtic and Lazio. In the league, form has started to dip slightly with the club now on a run of 5 league games without a win. It's seen the team drop to 8th in the table and 6 points off the title pace being set by PSG.
Reims will feel this is a game they can win. David Guion's men are only one place and 1 point behind Rennes heading into this game. Unfortunately, their form is almost as dodgy as Rennes but there is one big difference. They might have only won 1 of their last 4 league games but that was an impressive 2-0 victory away to reigning champions PSG. Their quality on the road was also evident in the opening game of the season when they beat Marseille 2-0. Can they take advantage of a Rennes side that were in European action in midweek?
I'm always wary of teams that have played in the Europa League and are scheduled to play sides that have had the whole week off. Reims have shown how dangerous they are away from home and with both teams scoring in just 1 of their 8 league games so far I wouldn't be surprised to see a dull game here. I actually think the visitors are worth backing as a draw no bet option in this game and Rennes could be there for the taking if Reims back themselves.

    Eintracht Frankfurt vs Werder Bremen
In the Bundesliga this week we returned to an old friend who served us so well last season in Eintracht Frankfurt when they host Werder Bremen in a 5pm BST kick-off this Sunday afternoon from the Commerzbank-Arena. Not a lot separates these two sides in the middle of the league table so a win here is crucial if either of these two teams wish to move on up the standings.
Eintracht Frankfurt suffered the double blow of losing strike partnership Luka Jovic and Sebastien Haller during the summer but Adi Hutter has done a great job of using the estimated £100 million received from those sales to strengthen the team across the field. The team is doing OK but struggling to find consistency in the early stages of this season. The 3-0 loss at home to Arsenal in the Europa League was disappointing but the 1-0 win away to Vitor Guimaraes in midweek will boost team morale. An unbeaten run at home in the league has also laid solid foundations down for their domestic campaign.
Werder Bremen will generally be disappointed with their start to the season. Florian Kohfeldt's men only have one win in the league in their 6 matches so far. Positive feelings can be taken from their 2-2 draw away to Borussia Dortmund last week and it's now two games on the road unbeaten after their solitary win this season away to Union Berlin. This is a different challenge entirely though.
I'm never overly enthusiastic about backing teams that compete in the Europa League but I think Eintracht Frankfurt are a solid outfit at home. Their midweek win was just the medicine needed heading into this game and I think they should have enough to get the win against a Werder Bremen side that haven't really got going yet this season. It might only be the odd goal that separates these sides but it will be 3 points missed if the home side don't win.

    Inter Milan vs Juventus
The big game in Serie A this weekend is certainly worth looking deeper into. A rather fascinating title race is potentially igniting when Inter Milan play Juventus in a 7:45pm BST kick-off at the San Siro on Sunday evening. It's first versus second as the home side are looking to extend their lead at the top of the table with the away side attempting to stop a gap from developing.
Inter Milan look a very impressive side under Antonio Conte. On a personal level, I really rate him as a manager and I think he's firmly turned his team into valid favourites for the league title now. The club boasts a 100% record in the league and stand 2 points clear of second placed Juventus heading into this game. They were also 6 minutes away from a credible draw out in Barcelona in midweek so they're proving to be a real handful against anyone home or away.
Juventus are looking to retain their league title but are 2 points behind their opponents coming into this game. Maurizio Sarri isn't getting the best out of Cristiano Ronaldo so far but is it simply a case of the Portuguese talisman getting to that age where he will be less effective? He's still been doing it for Portugal so I can't help but feel it's Sarri's tactics restricting him. Don't get me wrong, he's still their top scorer but nowhere near as prolific as he has been in previous seasons. The Old Lady has been far from convincing on the road with the 0-0 draw away to Fiorentina being a particular blotch on their league record.
Not a lot separates these two teams but I just feel Inter Milan are already showing themselves to be an archetypal Conte team. Four clean sheets in their six league games is evidence he is building a side based on a solid defence. He faces his former team knowing that his defence will need to hold firm against a Juventus side that has scored 16 goals in 8 games across all competitions this season. I'm torn over whether they can do it or not. I'd love to see an Inter win and as tempted as I am to back it I think a draw seems most likely.

    West Ham vs Crystal Palace
Welcome back into the mix, @SgtTr! My next preview is the 5:30pm BST televised clash between West Ham and Crystal Palace on Saturday evening at the London Stadium. Both of these teams have enjoyed an encouraging start to the season and they will be feeling this is a game where they can continue that positive start to their campaigns. Who will prevail as winners or will they cancel each other out?
West Ham were my tip to be a team to challenge the monopoly of the top six teams and so far Manuel Pellegrini's side appear to be living up to the hype. The Hammers are sat in 5th place with 12 points from their 7 league matches so far. Considering they lost their opening game of the season at home to reigning champions Manchester City by a 5-0 score-line it's been pretty uphill ever since with the team remaining undefeated in league action. It's also been a 100% record at home since that match with wins against Norwich and Manchester United with a clean sheet achieved in both.
Crystal Palace have also caused a stir of their own. Roy Hodgson's men were being touted as potential relegation candidates but the Eagles are in 9th place with 11 points from their 7 league games. An unbeaten start at home this season has laid the foundations down but 2 defeats from their 3 away games suggests things might be a bit tougher on their travels this season.
Both sides have their injury concerns with Lukasz Fabianski the big absentee for West Ham. Palace captain Luka Milivojevic is also missing along with influential defender Mamadou Sakho. The Hammers are unbeaten against Palace in their past 8 league encounters. Palace have also taken just 1 point from their last three visits to the London Stadium. I expect that poor head-to-head form to continue with the Hammers sealing a business-like win.

    Liverpool vs Leicester
One of the most exciting games this weekend is the thrilling clash between league leaders Liverpool and the impressive Leicester in a 3pm BST kick-off this Saturday afternoon at Anfield. These two sides have both won plaudits from fans and pundits alike this season. Will the home side extend their unbeaten start to the league season or will the visiting side inflict a first defeat on their hosts?
Liverpool sit proudly on top of the Premier League tree with a 100% record having won all 7 of their league games so far. There have been a few close calls for Jurgen Klopp's men and performances haven't quite hit the heights recently as at previous times. However, the 4-3 win over RB Salzburg on Wednesday night showed that the players have the grit and determination to grind out the results under pressure. Only two clean sheets in the league this season suggests the defensive issues need addressing but the back-line will be delighted with the 1-0 win over Sheffield United last weekend.
Leicester were backed by many to be a side that could potentially breach the reputed top six. As Chelsea and Manchester United toil further down the table, the Foxes are flying under Brendan Rodgers in 3rd place and could reduce the gap between themselves and the Reds to just 4 points with a victory here. 4 wins, 2 draws, and just 1 loss has left the 2015/16 Premier League champions in a great position. The stand out fact being Jamie Vardy scoring 14 goals in 17 matches since Rodgers took charge.
The obvious suggestion is that this game will have goals. Liverpool have only kept 3 clean sheets in 11 competitive matches this season whilst scoring an average of 2.36 goals per game this season. Leicester have scored 18 goals in 9 competitive games this season with 4 clean sheets achieved during that time. The sign of real champions is to win games when you're not at your best. Liverpool are managing that. I can see a 2-1 or 3-2 win for the home side in this one. Whatever the outcome, I'm expecting a game worth checking out!

    West Brom vs Cardiff
It's a huge game for my Cardiff side this weekend after the elation of that 3-0 win over QPR in midweek. We travel to the Hawthorns on Saturday afternoon for a 3pm BST kick-off against the impressive West Brom. The momentum we are starting to build will face its biggest challenge against a home team that are wounded after their narrow 1-0 loss away to promotion rivals Leeds during midweek.
West Brom made a controversial decision to sack Darren Moore and replace him with Slaven Bilic. It is a decision that appears to have been a wise one. The Baggies started the season unbeaten before their midweek loss in a run of results that included 5 wins and 4 draws. These results elevated the team into the automatic promotion places and even after the Leeds loss the club remains in 3rd place on 19 points.
Cardiff had a slow start to the campaign with just 2 wins from their opening 7 league games and an early exit from the EFL Cup. The Bluebirds have settled things down now and Neil Warnock's men are currently on an undefeated run of their own that now stretches 7 league games including winning 2 of their last 3 league matches. Just 5 goals conceded during those 7 matches has been a very pleasing statistic after the defensive frailties from earlier in the season. Alex Smithies settling into his role as the new number one in light of Neil Etheridge's injury has been key to that.
It's been a while since these two clubs last met in the Championship with the previous meeting coming back in February, 2010. That game ended as a 1-1 draw. We can expect goals in this game with West Brom having failed to score in just 1 of their last 37 league matches at home. If you're into your spooky stats then Baggies fans will tell you they hate October. Their team has won just 3 of their last 26 matches in all competitions during the month of October. I think they'll get the win here. Cardiff are still lacking that quality needed to compete with these big guns. We'll give it a real good go and will fight them close but West Brom should have enough to sneak a win.

    Birmingham vs Middlesbrough
The Friday night game in the Championship this weekend throws up a tight fixture between two sides struggling to meet expectations in the table this season when Birmingham host Middlesbrough in a 7:45pm BST kick-off at St Andrew's. Both teams are on a terrible run of form at the moment so can this be the game that re-ignites their season or will the poor results continue?
Birmingham fans are still scratching their hands about why the club let Garry Monk leave. The former Swansea manager was putting good things in place at the Blues. His replacement, Pep Clotet, hasn't exactly been a disaster with the club currently in 14th place and 5 points off the play-offs but with three straight defeats in the league and a 1st Round exit from the EFL Cup it's not really looking too great again.
Middlesbrough took a gamble by getting rid of the experienced Tony Pulis and replacing him with the inexperienced Jonathan Woodgate. The Boro are sitting precariously in 20th place just 4 points above the relegation zone. It's now three league games without a win for the club and just 1 win in their last 6 games. I have to admit, they were really poor against Cardiff the other week. We weren't great but still should have stuck 3 or 4 more on them.
A major concern for Woodgate is that his team's away form is dreadful. They have failed to win on the road under his management so far. The plus side is that Middlesbrough have beaten Birmingham in each of their last four meetings over the past two seasons. Middlesbrough are also undefeated against Birmingham in each of their last 10 league meetings. Britt Assombalonga could be one to watch out for here because he's scored 6 times against Birmingham including 4 since he joined Boro. I think a draw seems the most likely outcome here with both teams cancelling each other out.

I like the look of Forest Green to beat Crawley. Crawley have gone off the boil after starting the season well, and the bookies overlooking of Forest Green that started last season has continued in to this one. Now Salford haven't been firing on all cylinders, but FGR were 0 - 4 up in Salford last week and that's no mean feat.

    Lincoln vs Sunderland
League One delivered the goods last week with our tip of Blackpool to beat Lincoln. I'm returning to Lincoln once again this week for their 3pm BST kick-off against Sunderland at Sincil Bank. The home side are in danger of free falling down the table after the departure of Danny Cowley and with the away side building up some decent form I feel this could only go one way.
Lincoln have seen their winless streak extended to four games after the loss away to Blackpool last week. The 2-1 defeat was a marked improvement on the 6-0 hammering at home to Oxford the week before. New manager Michael Appleton still has time on his side with the club only 11 games into the league season and in 11th place in the table. However, it won't be long until the continued losing streak becomes a crisis.
Sunderland have seemingly turned a bit of a corner. Jack Ross was coming under increased criticism by his own supporters with the Black Cats not quite hitting their stride but an undefeated spell of four league games has settled the nerves. The team is now sat in 5th place and just 5 points off the top of the table. A 4th best placing in the away table suggests they can do the business away from home as well.
It won't surprise many to read that I'm backing Sunderland to get the job done in this game. Lincoln are, at the very least, in a state of transition. A team like Sunderland who are starting to gain some momentum will take advantage of that. I'm not entirely convinced that Appleton will work out long term for the Imps and things could continue to stay this way until he settles his philosophy into the team.

    Real Sociedad vs Getafe
OK, so it was a mixed bag last weekend with Levante being let down by the Hernani Fortes sending off but we got the goals under/ over correct. This week, we take a look at the match-up between well-performing Real Sociedad and the struggling Getafe which kicks off at 5:30pm on Sunday afternoon from the Reale Arena in San Sebastian, Basque Country.
Real Sociedad are off to a flyer in La Liga this season. Imanol Alguacil's men are sitting in 5th place on 13 points from their 7 league games and only 2 points behind the pace of league leaders Real Madrid. The 3-2 defeat away to Sevilla last week brought a week league game winning run to an abrupt end. They'll be hoping that they can bounce back to winning ways here.
Getafe aren't enjoying the same positive start as their opponents here. Jose Bordalas has seen his team win just 1 of their 7 league games so far. However, it's not all bad news. Despite being in 16th place and just 2 points above the relegation zone they have drawn 4 times this season and remain just 6 points behind their opponents in this game. In fact, the spirited 2-0 defeat at home to Barcelona last week was the first loss since their opening game 1-0 loss to Atletico Madrid.
The home side are understandably favourites here. Getafe's league position perhaps downplays their performances but the home side have a 100% on their own turf this season. This is far from a case of Getafe being written off. It's the confidence held in Real Sociedad at home. Getafe haven't managed to pick up a win on the road yet and I think that run will continue here.

real madrid always gives me false sense of impression. i absolutely hate zidane and i wish he would leave. he is so overrated and clueless.
valencia has been my coupon buster lately and i wouldn't take them in any way again. they are big favorites here but i am sure alaves will win or take a point against them
espanyol are genuinely poor and struggling side. mallorca haven't had the rub of the green but i feel playing at home this time will win

liverpool rode their luck in recent games and made mistakes which were not punished but leicester could give them their first loss of the season
everton cannot afford to lose this match. i thought in first half they were solid against man city and despite losing. this one is going to such a boring match and its hard to see any goals in it.
tottenham peaked in previous season's and i feel because they didn't win a trophy they are going through a slump. brighton to win
man utd are rubbish. it's like watching a bunch of schoolboys playing. newcastle could take them especially after their europa league trip away
arsenal is no better today than they were when wenger was coach. they do well in these kind of games but bournemouth can match them goal for goal.

blackburn let themselves down when they lost against luton. nottingham forest is even stronger so i don't see how they can get a result
i was never under impression that middlesborough turned it around. their season will be struggle. preston can take them
sheff wed is plowing team in current form. i think under monk they are very committed so they will win in my eyes. hull city can't keep anyone out
wigan was never going to get anything at fulham but their form has been improving steadily and at home this is where they make their mark. birmingham are poor travellers at the moment
reading and fulham is going to be tight. i can just see the home side being good enough for another point. fulham doesn't win many on their travels but get a positive result

liverpool are begging to lose a match so they can reset. they have started the season well enough but their form has been sliding. they made mistakes last time and could have been punished. i will try a score draw
inter milan are in far better shape and conte is the man to cause an upset. barcelona just don't look impressive currently.
slavia prague is a good shout to beat dortmund who have struggled to win games.
dinamo zagreb are technically gifted players and imo will score once or twice. man city will probably win in the end but i see maybe five goals in the match
it's always fiery going to turkey in champions league. i don't think psg will be able to boss this match. galatasaray will fancy themselves scoring and i think they will get a score draw

    Parma vs Torino: Draw
Parma had 5 wins, 7 draws and 7 losses at home last season, but didn't manage to beat one of the top 10 sides at home - losing 6 games and 4 matches ended level. Parma lost all 4 matches at home vs top 4 teams(Juve, Napoli, Inter, Atalanta), so Gialloblu had 4 draws out of 6 games at home vs top half teams outside of top 4 like Torino.
Meanwhile, Torino drew 13, won 4 and lost just 2 away games last season. That record will most probably not be repeated as Torino had its first away loss last season in mid January and the team already lost away vs Sampdoria 1:0. Anyway, it is worth noting that il Toro drew all 7 away games last season vs teams from 10th to 16th place, including a goalless tie vs Parma.
Both Parma and Torino are coming off narrow home wins in last round and both teams are yet to have a single draw after 5 games. Expected goals data shows that Torino should have been second from bottom, but that just points out how difficult it is to score past Sirigu and how clinical il Toro are at the front. Torino lost their last 2 games vs not so open teams from bottom half of the table and I suspect they will be happy with a point from the visit to Parma.
