  1. If Alli is dropped for Loftus-Cheek it could give England more options. I can see Sterling finally getting in one good move to open up a stubborn defence. Worried about fatigue too with Kane and a couple of others. If Vardy is fit he could make an impact late on.

So hard to call but I'm going to have a "reverse patriot" bet on Sweden to qualify at 2/1. Win either way :)

    Under 2.5 goals @ 2.56

With some of the key defenders missing I'm expecting to see some late challenges and questionable plays, both teams have been involved in penalties before. Outright penalty market @2.4 offers no value so I've gone with:
Sweden to score a penalty @9.0
Switzerland to score a penalty@ 8.5 with Betfair
Both teams to score a penalty @41 with Betfair

Good shout. Granqvist to score anytime or 1st/Last as well.

@matt-e-matticle I agree Roma are very indifferent, but you can be sure they won't play the same way as they did at Anfield, as they know they'll get killed.

You could liken this to going to Man City and they dealt with a big lead there, so why not now?

They've played at Man City tons of times, so there was an element of they're still in England, no big deal. However, this is Rome, that stadium will be bouncing and very volatile especially the first 20 mins. Roma must take advantage in this period.

As you can see on the >football tips page, I've gone for Roma to win and Both Teams To Score as I think it's the best bet. Liverpool may well come away with a win, but it's a whole different mentality doing it in a quarter final that's still in England, as opposed to doing it in Rome with a volatile atmosphere, knowing they'll probably kill Real Madrid in the final, so I don't see Liverpool going gung ho here.

Roma Win and Both Teams to score @ 11/4 (3.75) Bet365

Yep, going for this result too. I do fancy a sweat for Liverpool fans - Roma maybe getting 2-0 up in the first half but I can see Liverpool scoring at least one to kill it off.

    2-1 Roma @ 9/1

    3-1 Roma @16/1

  4. I follow Slough and will be at the game tonight. Just to say, Slough have a MASSIVE chance tonight, and 7/1 in some places is crazy value at home and on the plastic pitch. Also unbeaten at home since start of the season.

Look out for Slough's midfielders who can score (Manny Williams and Matt Lench, who scored two cup hat-tricks in two weeks in the FA Trophy and FA Cup). Slough play some lovely stuff, lots of passing, so hoping this comes across on BT Sport later.

    Slough WIN: 7/1 (SKyBet)
    To Score any time:
Manny Williams 3/1, Matt Lench 4/1

  5. Re: AFC Asian Cup (Australia) 2015 I've been working on some Aussie betting sites the past couple of weeks and surprised by odds on Korea for the final. Considering Korea bet Australia in the group stages, haven't conceded a single goal all tourney, am I missing something here? Bet: S. Korea in 90 mins: 3/1 Son Haeng-Min 1st scorer 17/2 Under 2.5 goals 2/5 0-0 5/1

  6. Re: Group D - England v Italy > Sunday June 15th Agree on the tight first opener. Neither team will want to lose and Roy is hardly going to go all guns blazing. PaddyPower doing returned bets if Italy win or it finishes 0-0, so I'm going with: Under 2.5 goals Sturridge 1st goalscorer - had a few chances in Peru game and coming off an excellent season. Couple of 0.5pt bets on Jagielka and Cahill Last Scorer - England looked as if they have some set pieces worked out with these two on the end of crosses. At 50/1 and 40/1 worth a speculative punt

  7. I've had a lot of success over the past ten years betting on correct scores in international quallies involving the minnows of European football. With some rare signs of improvement or the odd goal, the fact remains the minnows are still ****e. Only a couple of qualifiers left in the current campaign but some nice picks on Friday. Back five matches, three scores to nil each, and cover with 270 x 5pt trebles: Malta v Denmark 0-2, 0-3, 0-4; Turkey v Andorra 4-0, 5-0, 6-0; Russia v Luxembourg 5-0, 6-0, 7-0; Ukraine v San Marino 5-0, 6-0, 7-0; England v Moldova 2-0, 3-0, 4-0

  8. Re: Live poker in London? many of the dedicated card clubs have gone but if you want a poker-only place rather than a casino, Big Bluff in Palmers Green is worth checking out. Other than that the new ASpers Casino by the Olympic Park is worth a shout.
