    William Hill:
Christian Garin to beat Giron @ -125
I've spoken about GArin. He is one of my players, and I doubted him last match. He sometimes starts slow, but he quickly grabbed form, and outclased TAbilo. I see similar type of scenario vs Giron who does not have the consistency and spin from the baseline. I also think Garin's serve can sometimes be especially potent, and he could rival Giron in a serving contest on a good day. I imagine that he has adjusted the courts now in Miami, and already has two matches in his belt. For me this is a no brainer.. If you don't like the Garin side.. there is no real way you can bet Giron, and be confident.

I couldn't back Humbert right now with house money. Not after one of the worst collapses I've even seen in the final he just played against Van Assche. Even if he gets into a winning position, let's see if he can close it out. Not something I'd want to bet on.

Alexei Popyrin to beat Marcos Giron at 1.80 with William Hill
While Giron struggled to get past the aging force that Gasquet is nowadays, Popyrin beat FAA 2-0, improving his season record to 3-0 in the process. The Aussie has a lot to prove this year and, given his form book, I would really have him at 1.66 here instead of 1.80. Good luck and Happy New Year everyone!

I think nishioka might beat popyrin, he s too fast too consistent, a great returner , and even though popyring has big weapons and is an aussie, I think nishioka will just make him commit errors and get the win.

Well I can only see one outcome in tonight's final. A Nakashima win, just as their group stage match. It has no value (1.3) though.

Jack Draper to beat Lor. musetti at 2.37 with bet365
Draper on the rise now I feel. Musetti must feel disappointed in himself, since he failed to come back against Stricker. Also, I firmly believe that Jack's dh backhand will do damage to his opponent's far more fragile one handed bh. H2H stands at 1-0 in favor of Jack D.
    Good luck. ?

I'm backing Tiafoe (vs. Felix) at 2.75 with William Hill
These odds are insane. I agree Felix should be the favourite player, but not at these odds. Felix has won 3 consecutive tournaments and he's in a 15 winning streak, so we can say he's the most in-form player..., Despite that, I did not like what I saw from him in his match against Ymer. He was 1 set and 4-1 down..., and he even had to face 2 break points which means he could have been 1 set and 5-1 down. In other words, he was super close to lose 7-6, 6-1 against Ymer.
Tiafoe is in the best moment of his career. Semifinals in the US Open, Final in Tokyo and he comes from beating Sonego, Drapper and De Minaur, all of them in straight sets.
As I said, Felix should be the favourite player, but not at these odds. These odds are insane.

Gabriel Diallo to beat Enzo Couacaud at 2.1 with bet365
Diallo has a career-high ranking of #250 while his opponent stands at #183. They played their first match very recently at Fairfield (USA), where the young Canadian was able to win in straight sets (7-6, 7-5). What impressed me the most in this match was, Diallo's ability to win over 80% of his first serve points. It was a mentally demanding match for the big guy (2.01m.), as he had to capitalize on the big win he scored against Ben - next best (American) thing - Shelton (7-5, 6-7, 3-6). Now Couacaud is of course way more established and can definitely bounce back with a revenge victory tonight, but the belief should be there for Gabriel I think. Let's hope he does it again.
    Good luck.

Wow! It takes a lot of value to bet on Aslan at this particular moment. He's in a disastrous losing streak (1-9) and he even lost in Tel Aviv to Etcheverry, a player who only has won 2 ATP main draw matches on hard in his entire career (the other win is against another pure claycourter, Facundo Mena...).
Now, add to that the Aslan's dark record of match f*****  and you definitely will get an explosive cocktail. I have censored the word but all the punters who know Aslan will know what word goes there.
Well, Khachanov was impressive in the US Open and he's really good playing on hard indoor courts. Actually, the only Masters 1000 he has won is played on indoors (2018 Paris Masters). Something you should be worried about if you want to bet on him is why he neither played in Metz nor Tel Aviv. Did he want to rest? Or it was some kind of physical problem? Who knows... but it's been a month since his last match. Cressy returned in Tel Aviv after his injury during his first round match in the US Open. He beat Korda in straight sets and that was a pretty convincing victory... Then, he lost to Lestienne in 3 tight sets (7-6, 3-6, 6-7). He was impressive on serve (he only faced 1 BP in the whole match).
Honestly, it's really hard to predict. Cressy will give no rhythm to Karen. IMO, this is the kind of match you shouldn't get involved unless the odds are really good.
In relation to the Cilic-Otte match, it's another match with some red flags. Cilic is playing good and he reached the Final in Tel Aviv. Otte reached the doubles final in Sofia..., so I can say neither Cilic nor Otte will have the proper training for their first round match here. If you think Cilic can play well 2 straight weeks then that's your player. In any case, it's a match with some red flags for the reasons I've explained. EDIT. I forgot to mention the horrible losing streak of Otte in singles, but I'm sure you are aware of that.
Finally, the Evans' match. I think he should beat Albot easily. It would be a surprise if he lost to him.

Well, sometimes they do have somewhat more info that most bettors, though it's oftentimes possible to get it if you're happy to invest time and effort. Rune is better than Huesler overall for sure, but I'm a bit worried about backing him here, as Huesler looks inspired at the moment, and he also managed to dispatch Rune easily when they met in Bastad. I didn't see that match, and it might've been a fluke, but it would put me off in terms of odds for sure.

Rune is ranked 26, while Huesler is ranked 74 and never has been in the Top 50. That's the reason. Bookies give a lot of importance to the rankings, which is completely normal cause you only get a good ranking by winning matches and tournaments. Sometimes rankings do not reflect the real level of the players, but that's not the case here.
I have seen both players and I'm really impressed by both players' level. Both players have dominated their matches with their serve, which is completely important when you play on this surface. Rune is the favourite player cause he's overall better player and has the better ranking, as simple as that. With that being said, Huesler enjoys this surface more than Rune does and if both players keep serving as well as they have done till now, then we'll have a really tight match.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not questioning your bet. I just want to explain to you why Rune has these odds. The bookmakers don't have any kind of "secret" information.

Jarry to beat Ruud at 5.00 with bet365
I know it's a difficult one..., but I think the odds are not well placed. Ruud has just played the Laver Cup and this will be his first match here. Jarry, however, has already played 3 matches. The players he has faced are not elite players..., but he has won all of them in straight sets and his serve has not been broken yet. These courts are super fast and Jarry is enjoying them with his big serve.
As I said, it won't be easy and if it happens it probably will be via tie-breaks. Jarry needs to get to the last games with his serve intact, and if he does Ruud can get nervous and then Jarry will stand a chance..

James Duckworth to beat Marcus Giron at 2.62 with Unibet
If there's gonna be an upset in San Diego quarters it's gonna be this one. Don't rate Giron as the better player here because you're probably doing a mistake then. James may be lower ranked atm but he's done a good job in San Diego. Giron to me doesn't fill the boots of being the fav.

    Trying the following acca tonight.
Barrere to beat Otte at 1.81
Barrere has a 2-0 head to head advantage and has beaten Otte indoors before in France and he was pretty good in the qualies. Otte hasn't got much of a form since being so successful on grass this summer.
Gasquet to beat Thiem at 1.83
Thiem is still so far away from his best you could start to wonder if he ever will get back to top 50 even. He's not there at all while Richard still has the skills indoors. He's beaten Thiem twice indoors before and Thiem really is not a great example of someone you can rely on at an indoor hardcourt.
    Total odds: 3.31 at Coolbet

I feel like i'm crazy for wanting to back Khachanov.. I think the odds are ridiculous, and I'm worried about losing a big bet.
Both guys are playing really well. I'd say Kyrgios performed great, but atleast for sure that is not top form Medvedev out there.  I can say that with certainty. I imagine Khachanov will give him a tougher match without much doubt in that theory.. Something seemed to be wrong with Daniil. Either the movement.. power of shots. I can't explain the problem but the guy is definitely not healthy. I don't think Khachanov is having injury problems right now at all, and commented at the press.. He's feeling the rest during Wimbledon really helped him alot, and had some nice tune up matches on hardcourt already.  I can't explain Kyrgios rolling right through Wolf other than that .. one player has no problem holding serve, and Wolf could have crumbled under the pressure.. Anyways .. I haven't decided yet if I'll be betting this.. We'll see!

100% Ruud will beat Berrettini. For me Ruud already had a very very tough match against Tommy Paul. First 3 sets all decided by tie-breakers, and 4th set was 7-5. He actually had an easy game against Moutet (6-1,6-2,6-7 as he relaxed ,and then 6-2 when he focused again) is pretty comfortable. A well conditioned pro with a day's break gonna feel as fresh as a daisy.
I don't think Berretini is playing that well. He lost badly first match at Canadian open, and also lost 1st round of Cincinnati.  Last 3 matches at US open have been 4 4 and 5 sets, and I think he may run out of gas . Probably 1st set is crucial and if it is Ruud that wins it, I will lump it on (would imagine Ruud would be around 1.45 to win which is fine). I'm keeping 12 units for Ruud. Will bet 4 initially and then have another 8 to fire when he wins the 1st set.
For Berrittini, his serve is getting him out of trouble all the time. He may go to the well, once too often... because his groundstrokes are bog average (at this level). His backhand is weak, and Ruud will/should go to work on it and break it. In a best of 3 set match a really good server can be streaky good for periods, but can't last 5 sets (probably not even 3). Eventually Ruud will prey on his weak backhand.
I think Tomljanovic is also going to win against Jabeur. Jabeur is a sneaky, crafty player, but there is no overwhelming power. Tomljanovic actually has some power, and kind of looks like a better, fitter stronger version of Andrea Petkovic.  Se had a bad shoulder injury, but looks right on top of her game. Comes off two great wins (against Serena with the crowd against her) and Samsonova, who she put to bed in the second set (6-1).
Jabeur really has not played anyone dangerous. Had a very easy draw against 4 average to decent opponents. No world beaters there. Tomljanovic for the victory here. Not a huge bet. Maybe 3 units for the straight win.
I'm gonna go two separate bets here, but will combine Ruud with Kyrigos to win tomorrow (early), and Tomljanovic onto Tiafoe (also tomorrow, late).  So, 2 single bets here, and another 2 bets (Ruud, Kyrigos) and (Tomljanovic & Tiafoe)  with smaller stakes,
My 3rd bet that I do like is Gauff to beat Garcia. I think Gauff is fantastic.  SHe has the mentality of a winner! She can really play, and I think her forehand has improved dramatically. Her backhand is gold! She moves incredibly well, and is a great athlete. I think  Garcia could crumble under the pressure here, especially when the US crowd starts with a raucous 'LET'S GO, COCO" chant which you know is coming. It is also gonna rain most of the day, so the roof will be closed, and the atmosphere should be a cauldron, which will not help Garcia at all.
Not going crazy as it will be in the middle of the night, so just 2 units for me n the Gauff win.

I really think Francis Tiafoe has a very good chance to beat Nadal. The man is ridiculously strong, and I think working with Wayne Ferreria has helped him a lot. Now it is just a question of belief. I think he may fall just short, but should take a set, which probably wins you the +6.5 handciap bet.
For the rest, I think the card is brutal today. Just one to watch and maybe take an in play bet.
I think Karolina Pliskova is going to beat Azarenka. My big indicator is just how well she did in the Canadian open, beating Kejcikova, Anismova, Sakkari. I think the 1st strike, power tennis, is not an opponent style that suites Azarenka. She may get blown off the court in a stop-start no rhythm type match. Azarenka also has not played that much, cancelled in Canada, Lost 2nd match in Cinicinnati and then against 3 weak opponents that really suited her style in US open.

I agree with the above so long as he can get it done in three sets, however Bedene's fitness is a concern, and he will likely fade as the match goes on, If Cachin keeps it close in the first two sets, Bedene could start to tire and I'd worry about his ability to close it out. Cachin has very little hc experience though, and Bedene, whilst not really in any kind of form, is still the much more experienced player, but it is his last GS and he'll want to make it a memorable one, first set is vital, he wins that and he's in a good place to go on and win. But if Cachin gets that first set, I reckon he takes the match.

I like Bonzi to beat Humbert at 4/6 typically. I don't really rate Humbert, he's a decent Challenger level player but has been very underwhelming at ATP level, whilst Bonzi has been playing solidly on the ATP tour and ran Van de Zanschulp very close in Cincinnati a few days ago. Also has an extra day's rest over Humbert.
