Late to the party as usual but I see you boys have had a good start to the season. I concur about the live scoring, totally shocking how crap it is. Even the Snooker scores live app is dead now as I think they relied on data from the official source. Wish I'd opposed Robbo who seems to have been busy holidaying in Sweden all summer and not practising much. What's with all these snooker players losing their cues, you'd think they'd at least put an airtag in their cue case which would help when the airlines inevitably lose them.

I think it was a case of me just typing a reply and realising the comedy value after seeing it on screen so not entirely pre-meditated😄

Best ever worlds that I can remember, next year is going to be disappointing as surely it can't come close to this years! Luca Brecel was simply magnificent, that's how snooker should be played. He could easily have lost 10-9 in R1 and disappeared back to Belgium to party and play darts with friends and Fifa on his PlayStation. Williams could have beaten him in R2, Ronnie should definitely have in R3 and I'm lost for words regarding the semi vs Si, 5-14 down...I thought Selby would grind him down in the final and at 9-8 and 16-15 I still thought Selby would find a way to win, so happy that we have a new world champion! 

I didn’t actually back it unfortunately. Didn’t bother with the 2/1 as wouldn’t have got much on (and wasn’t convinced it was better than fair). Thought about the 10/1 for 2+ but didn’t pull the trigger.
Haven’t played a blinder with this tournament. Did stick a fiver on Selby at 11/2 at least but that earned me a matched free bet that I forgot to use!

I have him on 125/1 I think it was , but only with small change unfortunately! Still might be worth to hedge a bit on him, we'll see. 

Well, that was tense! Looking forward to the Si/Luca match as that should be attacking and open. Whoever's sitting on Si at 1000 outright would be advised to lay some of it off as I expect he won't have much left to give after all the frames he's played or maybe he's still young enough for that not to matter. All of China will be rooting for him which brings a lot of pressure too.

Wish I'd had the cajones to lay Ronnie when he was as low as 1.03 on Betfair! Luca played great today, nearly no-miss snooker but Ronnie was total dross. A new face in the final probably taking on Selby who will likely win his 5th world title next Monday.
Ridiculous scheduling in the other match having to play back-to-back sessions! I think they were playing for half an hour on the final red ball in one frame, it's very slow going so they will only manage to complete 14 frames before going for a short break.

I think with Si then it's fair. He's 20 and it's a debut for him. McGill can have no excuses.
Same in the other game I suppose. Jak Jones you can understand but despite Allen never getting very far here, he has won major tournaments and should be able to hold his nerve better than that. It's rubbish.
I think only Higgins or Selby beat Ronnie purely because they wont bottle the big shots as much. Ronnie was utter dross against Brecel yesterday evening and still came out 4-4 on the session

It'll be worth opposing Brecel in the next round now. That result will guarantee he's overvalued, especially as he was nowhere near as good as was suggested after the match - that's just what always seems to happen when Ronnie loses. He played well there's no doubt, but to an extent he was allowed to. I don't see that happening next round.

Quarter final line-up complete, A lot of one-sided second round matches so let's hope the 1/4's are a bit tighter. I'd love to have a Si/Jak final but surely that's an impossibility! Would be nice to have a new name on the trophy if Ronnie doesn't win his eighth. 

Very impressive display from the 20 year old, Murphy had his chance in the last but ran out of position. I wonder if he can get past Milkins next? The Perry collapse was a bit of a shocker too!

First thing I thought after the 147 - what price two or more. Wouldn't surprise me if there's another the scoring is so good.

Well done guys, at least I didn't steam into the (possibly value) "no" price! To give you a negative interest in the rest of the tournament I'll mention that you could've got 10/1 or more for there being 2 or more!
