Well, as you must know with tennis and other sports, match ups matter a lot. On the face of it it certainly looks like not reflecting well on Nishikori. Coric relies heavily on first-strike tennis playing well behind his first serve. Nishikori just could not find a way to deal with the Coric serve and always played second fiddle. Conversely, Fuscovis neutralized Coric's game with chipped returns and was able to continuously take control of the rallies by the second or third shot. Coric knew he was well beaten by the end of the first set and started coming in to the net in the second set in typical suicide fashion. He seemed lost and just could not cope with the variation coming off the Fuscovics racket. It really pisses me off when i see a player being slapped up comprehensively and still showing clenched fists on every odd point they get. Coric was just being Coric as you say. I really cannot see him improving and going any further in his career from the way he plays. His game needs a lot of transformation work.

I'd say Coric was just being Coric - he's not a consistent player and that's why he's ranked where he is. He's beaten all the best players, but if you're also losing regularly when you shouldn't then it's hard to get established at the very top of the game. Also, the way Fucsovics dealt with him didn't reflect well on Nishikori. If Fucsovics could beat Coric so easily, then Nishikori should have been able to take at least a set. As it was, he squandered a break lead in the first set and that ended up being the key to the match as he lost a tight second.

wow , I've never in my life been so completely wrong with my tennis tips. Tsitsipas rublev was atleast close and the mistake was to not go with an over on games but what the hell happened with coric ?

Tight matches in Rotterdam today but I think some good bets can be placed on them
Tsitsipas-khachanov- Over 19,5 games(can go even over 20/21 but I'll play it safe). Khachanov is in the best form he's been in a long while and tsitsi will always fight hard. Should be quite close and I'm too scared to bet on tsitsipas winning it even though he's got good odds.
Rublev should beat chardy(1,12)- I won't bet on him since his odds are too low IMO in comparation to how dangerous chardy can be for rublev.
Nishikori-coric- I think I'll avoid this one , but I'd go with coric to win it or atleast to take a set. Borna should return kei's serve far easier than viceversa and he is in better physical shape than nishi.
Fucsovis- Paul- I'll go with fucsovis taking atleast one set. He routined paul in australia last year (alas it was a horrible performance from paul after he had a great win over dimitrov much like his win over bublik yesterday).

Goffin should win agaisnt chardy today, but I'm not gonna bet on him. I just don't realy trust david at this point.
I'll go with tsitsipas to win over hurkacz. (1,21)- he has a winning record over him, and I think tsitsi is more of a fighter than the pole. Sure you can go with an over 19,5/20,5 games on this one, but I'll just pick tsitsipas to win it.
Last one is paul-bublik OVER 19,5 games(1,30 I think)- By all accounts they seemed in very good form here, they had a close 3 setter hard court match before and if neither of them have any physical hindrance it should cover the over 19,5 threshold.

If I had a list of “ do not get again” for 1-2 performances or chokes... I don’t think there would be anyone else to bet on...

Anything you guys like in Rotterdam today ? I'm literaly not sure on any match . I was looking to take de minaur over nishikori , but kei has a bit of a resurgence and if he plays well he can definetly take alex out. Rublev should destroy murray ,but I'm somehow still scared to bet even now against andy even if he is 40% of what he once was..

Went with zverev to beat bublik (1,19)- I think these courts suit zverev better, and the only reason I didn't go with over 19,5 games is bublik's inconsistency.
Rublev to beat murray 2-0(1,42 I think)- I've watched andy lately , he seemed tired against haase and as long as rublev doesn't choke I can't see murray keeping up at this point with the onslaught from andrey.

cerundulo beating monteiro in cordoba and schwartzman losing to ramos... Glad I smelled out that these matches might have a weird outcome and didn't bet anything. South America tourneys on clay always seem to have weird results in them. Monteiro lost to a guy with 0 weapons and schwartzmann lost to a past prime ramos after looking at his best in his match before this one..

A player like Sonego can always return his way to victory and that's just what happened today. Sonego is a player with an outstanding return of serve and that's where he outplayed Korda.

well I made a point a year ago to never bet on shapovalov , and of course the ONE time I decide to bet on him he dissapoints completely. I think he is also sick or something I've heard from the commentators... some things you just cannot analyse.

went with dimitrov taking a set off busta(1,17 on Unibet)- Grigor seems to have busta's number on hard , but I'm still not sold on grigor's game 100% so I'm not gonna bet on him to win it all.
Shapovalov to beat alliasime (1,52 odds)- I mean shapo has a definite h2h edge in slams and to me he looks like the more inform player with a game that just has more to offer than alliasime's. Denis can be erratic but so can Auger.
Last one is Martinez to take a set off lajovic (1,20 odds on Unibet)- I'm gonna be honest I'm going on Czechpunter's hint on this one since I've only caught a bit out of lajovic 's matches here but nothing from Martinez. The spaniard 's wins definetly seem more convincing to me than lajovic's and even their last match which was a straight set victory for the serbian was a razor close 7-6 7-6.

For tonight I'll go with :
Fucsovis taking a set off stan (1,35 odds)- stan started well it seemed to me in the first match and he is my favorite player but that doesn't mean I won't go against him sometimes especialy since he can be wildly inconsistent. Martin is a skilled player that can prety much  pose a problem to anyone on a good day, so as long as he is physical fit , it's hard for me to see how he can be straight setted by stan.(but hey never know when a random stanimal appears)
Careno Busta beating Vesely (1,19 odds on Unibet as far as I remember)- I'm gonna be honest, I'm nowhere near 100% sure on this one but careno, recently only gets his ass kicked  by players above him. Vesely I think is getting in a bit better form, but careno should be able to outgrind him.
Last one is Humbert taking a set of Kyrgios(1,21 odds). Not much to say here, dunno how much kyrgios will resist physicaly if the match gets longer and he is also a very easily rustled player. I think humbert even has what it takes to  beat him.

@lelit Yep,.. But Giorgi has not been playing well. Swiatek's game also suits on fast courts. She has been super solid on serve against Rus (only 1 BP in the whole match..), she has more variety than Giorgi and we know what happens when Giorgi is not accurate... she gifts a lot of points. But you're right, if Giorgi has a good day she can even win but, as I said, I haven't seen her good version for a long time. Let's see

I'll go with popyrin taking a set against goffin (1,52 odds) - David for me has been very unimpressive in Australia this year , while the youngster seemed to be in fine form and will have the backing of the crowd.
Rafa beating djere 3-0 (1,25 odds)- If Rafa came to play it means he is atleast in decent physical form therefore he should easily defeat djere.
Last one is Kwon taking a set off kokkinakis. I just think he's the more inform player and even if Thanasi finds a way to win because of the home crowd advantage , I don't see Kwon going down without a fight.
