    Your maths is awful .

    I've staked a total of £6.00 with a total of £1.18 returns , 38p + 80p so I should be worse off on minus £4.82  than the £4.44 you've got @MCLARKE job is well safe 😉

Says £1.18 returns on this @calva decoy but i now notice you have got 2 lots of returns, Come on mate whats that all about? all i did was look at the bottom line, sod all wrong with the maths the spreadsheet works that out its the twat inputting that counts  and this running total addition confused the twat.

In hindsight I should have noticed that the distance it gained its speed figure on was 2m 0.5f and todays was 1m 5f.

To me it looked like it was staying on at the end and the extra distance would have suited.

All part of the learning experience for me.

it will perform better in 2nd time blinkers the only thing to learn is that if a horse has to go round a bend in first time blinkers it will not win in fact only 1 in 100 defy that stat, source- Nick Mordin. (he couldn't understand why it didn't apply in jumps races)

Reluctant as I am to take issue with an accountant on the subject of maths, surely that can’t quite be right? Doubling the odds wouldn’t quite double the return, e.g. 3/1 becomes 6/1 so you get 7 x stake back (not 8 ) instead of 4.

ffs 😂 i am not editing the twatting thing again for the sake of10p we will sort it at the end if it matters.

Once again no flat turf racing !

I'll have my first bash on the AW.

Top rated today is Fleurman in the 7.30 at Chelmsford. It came second in a £77k race at Newcastle last April. The winning time was 4.14 seconds faster than standard. However the winner has had a few poor runs since. I think someone mentioned that results from Newcastle should be treated with caution.

Fleurman has had a few poor runs since then which is why it is the outsider at 10/1. Perhaps worth a small bet.

Fleurman comes out on top on my figures but being blinkered 1st time means it will use up too much energy on the bends and fade but i hope i am wrong because i have backed it in my lucky 15 before i realised it was Blinkered 1st time.

Yes it was me that said Newcastle should be treated with a bit of caution the figures seem to be all over the place. i am still trying to work out why.

    Well you’d be wrong! :)

I hadn’t clocked that it wasn’t clear from the way Laddies choose to display it (or that the odds weren’t even shown) but it’s win only.

Yes confusing by way of the yellow ads. at first i saw the Lucky 15 (15 bets) and thought win only as ew is 30 bets but like i say thought better check.

  7. No rules as such but...

    1. One lucky15 per day settled to 20p (either 20p win or 10p ew).

    2. Cash out if you want Lee but for the comp your Original 4 will count.

    3. Preferably bets would be real and not just paper picks.

    4. Kudos and a big swede will be the only prize.

    5. Wind ups allowed. Sensitive sorts need not apply.

Although there are no rules please abide by them. Good Luck everyone lets have a bit of fun.

Don't forget to do the Daily Aintree competition for real money run by @MCLARKE

Yeah used oddschecker all the time but its just a pain now. As for McIlroy not disagreeing that 10/1 is a crap price but i took a super boost with bet365 18/1 outright and 3  places x2 bets i think that's a fair enough but not everybody's cup of tea.

Been following the golf quite studiously the last 3 years and i have learned to cross a few off the list and Mcillroy is one of them reason? He cant seem to put 4 rounds in, Shauffelle, Hatton, Fleetwood and Lowry are bottlers to my eyes and there are a hell of a lot that are only good enough to earn a good top 20 living. The hungry ones are the ones that interest me more. I quite like that performance from Bahtia 80/1 ew seems fair but there were very few top bods playing in that tourny he won to get in here. the ones i like are Hovland (but he is pissing about with his swing trying to fix what wasn't broken), Zalatoris, Nieman, Fitzy, Aberg and Cantlay.

Speith and Morikawa are good players but seems to have lost it a bit like Mcillroy, Windham Clark has been really good for a while now. Sheffler is brilliant and the one to beat but that price is not an incentive to bet on him. Van Rooyen at 200/1 (bet365) to finish top 5 seems a good ew bet. The Liv players form is hard to judge but most of them are over the top or lost incentive to a cushier life.
