I’ve seen a few clips of winx and the one above and must say I was very impressed. As good a flat horse I’ve seen on the eye. Unbelievable machine.

I see the Aussies are annoyed that Frankel won the virtual Cox Plate. @Darran you seem to know a bit about racing down under. How do you think Winx would have faired against Frankel and why didn’t they bring the horse over to Europe or even take Frankel down under.

I’m done with the flats until next year, but Lorton will appreciate the step up in distance. Runs at Newmarket 3.20. Currently 4/1. Clear on ratings and also enjoys testing ground.

Not much interests me, but old boy Portway Flyer can hopefully run a big race. Not won for a bit and his last race wasn’t one to get excited about. Seems to run well at Exeter, and is on a decent enough mark. Old form puts him up there. Others more progressive, but a nice price if it comes in.

Why don’t you do singles and the double? That’s what I’ve started doing if I only have two selections.

Locker Room Talk wins. Unlucky for me I didn’t have money on it.

Dandy Dan runs at Sedgefield 4.33. Anywhere near his best and he surely goes close. Not been seen since December , but seems to run well fresh and has had wind surgery. Might need the run but decent value at 9/1 paying four places.
