Henri Laaksonen to beat Zdenek Kolar at 1.70 with Pinnacle
Kolar was awful when I saw him in Ortisei and, to be fair, he's been awful throughout the season, something just isn't clicking for him at the moment. The trip to Portugal might be what he needs, of course, but Laaksonen is on a higher level at the moment and the odds look good to me, I was thinking 1.57 at most for the Swiss guy. Laaksonen isn't a clay-court specialist by any stretch, but his clay results have been above average since the restart, only one bad performance I'd say and wins over Galan Riveros, Maden and Cid Subervi.

Dominic Thiem to beat Novak Djokovic at 2.32 with Pinnacle
Novak Djokovic covered the -3.5 handicap against Zverev, but he's going to face a much harder task against Thiem. Thiem has played consistently well when it mattered so far and it's not tough to see that he was saving himself when he was facing Rublev yesterday. I get why Djokovic is the favorite here, but I'd honestly take everything above 2.00 on Thiem. He's been the better player and Djokovic hasn't played like the world's number one for quite some time now, so no reason to have him as such a big fav imo.

Hey folks. I believe Alexandrova (WTA Linz), Ruusuvuori (Bratislava), Gunneswaran (Cary) and Sinner (Sofia) will beat their opponents today. They deserve to be the heavy favorites imo. If you choose these odds at bet365, you get triple your money (3.00) if they all deliver.
    Good luck.

Sebastian Korda to beat Tomas Machac at 2.15 with Pinnacle
Honestly, I'm not quite sure what makes Machac the favorite here. Sure, he's got a lot of talent, but he hasn't played on a hard court for a while, so he might need some time adapting. Korda was already practicing last week and he got some decent results as well. Also, I think it could be argued that he's the more talented player of the two, with his French Open run being very impressive indeed if you take out the fan-boyism against Nadal. I'm really baffled, honestly, because I'd have the odds the other way around unless I've missed an injury somewhere.

Lorenzo Sonego to beat Hubert Hurkacz at 3.10 with Pinnacle
Hurkacz might be the better hard court player of the two, but why Sonego is above 3.00 is beyond me. He's a decent player on all courts and he played well against Lajovic, so I reckon he has a hot against Hurkacz as well. The big man from Poland played well below his standards against Balazs, his serve wasn't piercing at all and he had a surprising number of double faults. Not sure what's happening, he didn't look injured, but I don't think he should be priced as such a huge favorite for tommorow.

Elina Svitolina to beat Maria Sakkari at 1.76 with Unibet
Despite the win, I didn't like Sakkari against Pliskova yesterday. She struggled whenever she was on the move and Svitolina will move her around, that's for sure. The loss against Podoroska was disappointing for the Ukrainian, but these conditions should suit her more.

This is spicy! I love it

Today, I'mma go with one bet, Kontaveit-Alexandrova over 21.5 games: if this wouldn't go down as a 3 setter, I'd be extremely surprised. Both of them having awkwardly low moments in their matches (also some good).

Djokovic to beat Nadal & Both Players to win a set & Nadal to win a Tie Break in any set at 6.00 - local betting company called Stoiximan (??).
My gut says Djokovic will lift his second Coupe des Mousquetaires in Paris today. Obviously it's extremely hard to do so without dropping a set against the king of clay. I also fancy the chance of Nadal winning at least one tie break in the match, provided that they reach one during the match of course. I'm pretty sure Djokovic has a worse TB record than the Spaniard. In general I believe that Nadal and Federer have always been very elite at tie breaks throughout their careers so far and that's one more element of their greatness. Anyway I know I made a weird suggestion lol.
    Good luck folks ?

I also think the Greek player should win. He deserves it and also he is playing amazing this year, but it must be kept in mind that the physio thing is Djokovic special move. So I am not sure is he injured or not, it is not the first time when he calls physio when his game is not good enough, it is more strategic move than a physical problem. Still think the match is going to be interesting and it is time the new generation to beat the Top 3.

Ruud to win at least one set @1.8 with bet365.
Don't think reasoning is needed on this one. Ruud is such a good player on clay courts these days. It's hard to imagine Thiem prevailing in straight sets today. I wouldn't be surprised if the Norwegian pulls an upset as well.

Tsvetana Pironkova to beat Barbora Krejcikova at 1.88 with Pinnacle
Pironkova might not be at her best on clay, but she's competent enough and this just looks like an overreaction to me. Krejcikova has done nothing of note apart from beating Strycova lately, but Strycova is poor these days and it was a derby as well. Pironkova, with a day off for training, should have every chance to beat the doubles-bound Krejcikova here.

Siniakova - Bertens: Siniakova to win at any betting site which gives you the win in case of a withdrawal:
I mean, I wouldn't even be surprised if Bertens withdraws before the match has started, but if she decides to play. Well, she won't have the time of her life. She was injured, exhausted, and the obvious lack of fittness is on the surface. She's in a horrible form, my honest opinion is that Errani is just a joke.
Siniakova is nothing special ( if you ask me), but for her to not to get a set, therefore to minimum get a 3 setter match - in which case the fatique comes in again. - this is all Siniakova to the next round. I am disrupting my max 5% bet, this is a 10% again.

Halep - Anisimova : I actually believe Halep is out in this round. But I am recommending +5.5 Anisimova 1.80 at bet365.  I've been following Halep since the start of her early early rise. Damn, I hardly remember a match where she washed the floor with such an uncomfortable opponent as Anisimova is.(Many romanian friends of mine call her the 2-1 specialist, meaning that she cannot close some matches in 2-0, which she should've) I watched Halep's last 8 matches, she did not convince me in either of them. She has her constant good level, but not the Halep we all praise and love.
Anisimova had some good matches overall, she has the firearms to get a set in this match, moreover to win this match. I actually found her serve absolutely awesome these rounds. She covers this handicap all day.

    Fucsovics - Monteiro:
Fucsovics is a constant guy. He has played a great tennis overall in his career, and he is playing a great tennis in the last months. Actually the match between him and Medvedev didn't prove anything to me. I expected a solid solid match from Fucsovics, I just think Medvedev is hella stupid when he has one of those days. I liked Fucsovics very much against Ramos though.
Monteiro? Also a decent player. In a good form too, I wouldn't consider him any special, besides the fact that he fights for every point like for his life.
What makes me think this will be a Fucsovics win? Simply the fact, that there's a whole class difference between the two, Fucsovics proved several times that he can deal with these clayist hitters, I don't see him having huge huge problems with Monteiro in a bo5. Marton to win 1.45 at Unibet

    Zverev - Cecchinato
I just cannot go past this match once again. As much as I love Zverev, he's just not there yet.
Cecchinato? This form is the Cecchinato that won Buenos Aires, and won several other clay tourneys. Over 3.5 sets all day.  1.57 - with Bet365 (0-3 Cecchinato???? hope not)

i agree about marketa and im in big on her at +143 bookmaker. The type of forehand that she hits is going to make it very difficult for Plíšková especially the wide angles. Pliskova succeeds when you put the ball right on her forehand and don't make her move a lot but that will not be the case today and that is what the market doesn't realize. Mertens just doesn't have the correct style like marketa does.

I really agree on this one but I'll be biting on Marketa Vondrousovas performance so I'm taking her at 2.5 vs her countrywoman Karolina Pliskova who really aint anything close to a claycourt specialist even though she's won some clayfinals but Marketa is my pick.

Completely agree with vvavaru. I mean, no matter how talented Musetti might be, he's still an 18 year old kid. He's facing a very experienced opponent who looked pretty clutch on his first match against Ramos. The straight set victory against Wawrinka has made the bookmakers think that the young Italian should be considered the favorite tomorrow. Don't think that's the case here.

Marketa Vondrousova(#19) to beat Arantxa Rus(#71) at 1.75 with bet365
I happen to believe that the young Czech is one of the best players on clay courts these days. I like the fact that she almost never feels intimidated by whoever she's facing...In general, I consider her a very smart tennis player. Rus on the other hand has surely improved her game a lot, but she's kind of a one-dimensional player. Vondrousova should be able to control the rallies of the game and get the valuable win.

    Musetti - Nishikori
I don't buy the odds offered by bookers. 1.79 for Musetti against 2.02 for Nishikori....
Yes, the guy won against Mayer (didn't watch the game) and Wawrinka (who either felt bad or was not interested in that game. Other than that he played agains average players in the last months (lost some games against average players as well... Altmaier, Alcaraz).
On the other side we have Nishikori, who did not play for a long time. Lost his first clay game against Kecmanovic (winning 1 set) and than won against Ramos in Rome.
I think that Nishikori has a good trend, having a first win on clay, and has much more experience. My guess is that tomorrow the odds will inverse.
    2.02 Unibet on Nishikori.

Osaka is the best female tennis player right now. Her best > anyone elses achieveable best. I agree that Brady has been playing better this tournament, the assumption is that that will force Osaka to play better and ultimately come through. I do see a lot of value in Brady and the handicap though as its a large assumption. But similiar to how Serena has been struggling each round and then just raises it enough to get through, the market is assuming Osaka will raise her game enough to overcome anything Brady has to throw at her.
