Just for info .....when I rate races the computer also flags ...dark horses ....i.e horses which are out of form but very capable of winning ,( conditions ..weights ...etc ) ....reason in mentioning is because ..atrium who beat me in Saturday's big race was computers dark horse selection and there have been other races where the dark horse has placed or won at usually big prices because they are kinda out of form .....so when I rate in future I'll also post dark horses that are flagged just for interest ☺️

I was going to give up my place in the KO Cup to the next one on the list but forgot to notify @MCLARKE, so i will just pull out here and @Carole-dawney can continue, she will do a better job anyway! Packing it in a little earlier this year as my dog had 7 puppies 4 weeks ago and they're really hard work and i'm knackered. So good luck everyone over the jumps this winter and will hopefully be back in the spring.

I would have done the same for @LeMale but he sacked me as his PA. One little indiscretion with the photocopier and my buttocks and I was toast.  I just don’t understand the modern workplace anymore.

    OCEANLINE ( each way)
    SEA STONE
    Ascot 4:30
    NT FIELD MINNESOTA
    Downpatrick 3:35

    ROHAAN
    Ascot 5:05
    Beat the heat
    Fontwell 5:15
As a winning pointer this trip will suit NT Minnesota for Willie Mullins has been found wanting over shorter.
Oceanline returns to the flat having been over jumps for in form David Pipe and is therefore a de facto stable switcher in this code. That said on reflection he’s an each way chance only given the presence of sea stone who replaces ocean line as a win bet.
Rohaan wins at least once a year and today with some give in the ground looks about right on a track where he has won four times. With Neil callan a top booking he must be primed to go for it today. I haven’t checked yet, but I’d say Hugh Taylor would be picking this one. Makes up ground hand over fist in all of his races and although down the field this season has been an eyecatcher. He has three wins in December and one on 1st October in his cv so today would be the latest autumn win. If he gets a clear run and does still retain ability. A horse who started out as a class six handicapper and ended up with group two glory and Royal Ascot and with a  controversial start in race where he returned lame this horse owes nothing to anyone. Except of course David Evans the maverick Trainer who has supplied me with lots of winners and continues to do so.
Beat the heat is a busy horse and bids to win at fontwell for the fourth visit on the trot.
it has been a long time since that last visit November, but that end a run of three wins in June and September. All runs at Fontwell yielded a return of 43111 with placed runs elsewhere. Beat the heat has just landed a 1 mile Six class four race at Bath so arrives locked and loaded.
oceanline is an each way bet as
Sea stone looks too good for these runners
By Brasil is a second time runner for his new yard and career highlights for Joseph O’Brien was winning on debut and beating the mighty 158 rated jumper Zanahiyr  a notebook and watching brief is applied to this very interesting runner who is in first  time headgear.
All win singles and doubles and four timer.

Oceanline runs at ascot today for David Pipe and as such is a stable switcher with a twist.
Hes already run for Pipe over fences but this is his first flat run and is fit from hurdling and on a winning mark.
Dundalk the starting point of the supply line of Irish gambles on uk racetracks in particular the all weather is on today. The races crammed with runners and reserves who all take a hand in the outcome mean there is always scope there for a touch to be landed outside of the clutches of our overround fiddling bookies. It is not all plain sailing of course but there is always a “weigh in” ably assisted by some shrewd trainers…..
The mighty Rohaan is also in action and as a four times  course winner has to be respected as his trainers only runner today. Neil callan gets the gig fresh from sun power bolting up the other night under everyone’s unsuspecting eyes. I don’t buy that the cusp of the flat season is a tough time for punters. Opportunities  abound if you keep an open mind. Tons of tricks are being turned by trainers some horses are coming into their own and some are going off the boil.  Oh and there’s a horse returning to fontwell fresh from the flat and whose last three visits have been winners. The next winner is close to hand.

Newmarket 1.50 The first of four races covered by the ITV cameras is the Group 2 Royal Lodge Stakes for two year old colts and geldings. Nine go to post with Aidan O’Brien’s Capulet looking the one they all have to beat. He stepped forward from a debut victory at Dundalk to run stable mate Diego Velazquez to half a length in the Group 2 KPMG Champions Juvenile Stakes with the fourth, 3 1/2L behind, being Deepone who went on to take the Group 2 Beresford Stakes last weekend, giving the form an almighty boost. He sets the standard and may have too many guns for the likes of the Godolphin runner Aablan and Roger Varian’s Al Musmak.   CAPULET 1 point win @ 2/1 William Hill   Chester 2.05 ITV are showing just the one from the Roodeye in this 2M 2 1/2F class 2 handicap with nine doughty stayers in the line up. Declan Carroll’s six year old Emiyn has a great record here which reads 14242171 including when plundering a handicap here in July over half a mile shorter than todays. He showed he stays this far when winning this very race last year off of a 7lb lower mark. He looks sure to be thereabouts with his usual front running tactics. Brian Ellison’s mud loving top weight Tashkhan should also be thereabouts and looks a threat.   ERMIYN 1 point each way @ 5/1 bet365 1/5th 123   Newmarket 2.25 A decent field of thirteen race for the Group 1 Juddmonte Cheveley Park Stakes run over 6F. William Haggas’s Relief Rally sets the standard and should run well although is priced accordingly and it maybe worth looking for some each way value with the Charlie Johnston trained Sacred Angel. The grey daughter of Dark Angel looked a smart filly when winning at Newmarket and Ascot on fast ground in July, including in Group 3 company and may have got bogged down in the mud in the Group 1 Prix Morny last time when only finishing 4 3/4L fourth behind Vandeek. Back on a sounder surface she can outrun her odds.   SACRED ANGEL 1 point each way @ 10/1 bet365 1/5th 1234   Haydock 2.40 The sole race covered by ITV at Haydock today is the class 2 5F handicap which has attracted a field of nine with a strong fancy in the shape of the Tim Easterby trained Manila Scouse who will relish the soft ground. His form figures when encountering soft or heavy ground read 22212251 and he showed last time out when third (beaten 1/2L) in a similar grade handicap at York last weekend that he’s in fine form when chasing home Vintage Clarets. A reproduction of that effort on ground he loves should see him go very close.   MANILA SCOUSE 1 points each way @ 9/2 Paddy Power 1/5th 123   Newmarket 3.00 Nine two year old colts line up for the Group 1 Middle Park Stakes run over 6F. The race may be fought out by Simon & Ed Crisford’s Vandeek and the Aidan O’Brien trained River Tiber. The pair met in the Prix Morny at Deauville in August on very soft ground with Vandeek winning with River Tiber 2 1/4L back in third. That doesn’t tell the whole story mind as O’Brien was very vocal before the race that his Coventry Stakes winner had missed plenty of work ad would improve plenty. If that’s the case I expect the placings to be reversed here and he can take a race that he’s been successful in on three of the last six seasons.   RIVER TIBER 2 points win 9/4 Coral   Newmarket 3.40 The feature race of the meeting is the Cambridgeshire Handicap which has attracted a maximum field of thirty five. The one that stands out is the Harry & Roger Charlton trained Greek Order who has so much going for him (bar his price) that he will be hard to beat. A lightly raced son of Kingman he’s won handicaps at Sandown and Newbury in fine style this year with his latest win already been boosted by the subsequent easy success of the runner up Maximilian Caesar. A high draw is very advantageous and in stall 25 he’s got that. He could easily be a blot on the handicap. I’ve every respect for Dual Identity, who did us a favour last time at Sandown and was an unlucky third in this race from a poor draw last year and is also worth backing each way with additional places.   GREEK ORDER 2 points win @ 4/1 William Hill DUAL IDENTITY 1 point each way @ 12/1 William Hill 1/5th 123456
