I do wish that jockeys could use their imagination a bit when they have to come from behind during a race. Why don't they aim to be in front 10 yards before the line instead of ending up being in front a few yards past it.  I feel that the golden girl Hollie Doyle did this to me on Red Treasure in the 6.00 at Kempton
Sweet William got beaten a neck but that was down to inexperience.
A blank day so 4.8 points loss today.  My MTD is +59.36 but YTD -237.21
Quite a few Class 4 handicap races tomorrow.  Not much in the way of non-handicaps though

Just about got it right, by a short head.  A winners a winner though.  A profit of 6.08 on the day.  MTD Profit = 64.16 YTD - 232.41
I will persevere with finding the first two clear favourites in non handicaps as they are supposed to win 50% of the time. Unfortunately I may have to drop down the classes if I want to find some for multiples as the combination seems to be a bit scarce
With handicaps I will try to find a couple of horses at decent odds for win bets using my staking method and unless there is a real good reason to back a favourite for profit I will just use these for cover bets

Bumper day of top racing on TV ..... 10 races on ITV4 plus the 3 Arc Trials in France on Sky
So we have 13 races all but one of them Group Races including six group ones
Here's my system picks ....... not sure about the French races as I don't think the Post keeps a full database but only covers the top meetings ... also there's Japanese and maybe other runners who are not included in their trainerform stats, but what the hell......... it's only a bit of fun at this stage of 'seeing how it goes'. My list includes a couple of apparent no-hopers but one of the joys of a blind system is that it might throw up a 66/1 winner that no form student would go anywhere near !
(by the way I wasn't posting yesterday but did the Leopardstown meeting for my own amusement and only bagged 2 winners, but one of them was the 16/1 winner of the group one Matron Stakes)
