Two winners but not in the Trixie.  My saver bet on Busby so it paid for the Trixie and yielded a tiny profit of 1.29.  Min Till was awkward and slow away.  Not sure if it would beat the winner in any event.  My MTD loss is -38.22 and YTD loss is -301.66
Two all weather meetings tomorrow.  Will Buick on three short priced favourites.  Nothing exciting is it?

Charlie Appleby's PHRENIKOS is a half brother to Corebus and looks a bit of a monkey.Very short price and one to leave alone win or lose.
Played hard both runs and James Doyle couldn't put him right last time. Will Buick is back on from Yarmouth  debut where he jumped a path and couldn't get home.
This is an ordinary run of the mill maiden which he might well win.
But with nothing to lose.

112 Lin Pop's Dancer 1 pt win at 6.2 ( a drifter in the market but is an @The Brigadier selection plus an @MCLARKE 5yo selection.  Looks like Sergeant Tibbs is favourite, probably because Robyn Brisland won the first race, though the horse doesn't look like one to bank on.  Mick's Spirit looks interesting slagged off by Timeform but has 6 experts recommend it.  I will have 0.50 ins bet on this one at 7/2

All the horses I backed each way finished just out of the place money.  Marvelous.  Officially no points today but I backed Punxsutawny Phil for just place money and it went on to win.  Doesn't count for results purposes so a -15 pts loss recorded on the day.  My MTD is now -39.51 and this pushes my YTD loss over 300.00 points at -302.95   
Two all weather meetings tomorrow with a precautionary inspection at Southwell.  No real class racing so we'll just have to take it or leave it.

Shangrilama, who then stepped up to a mile and won readily on Friday. Den attempts the same in this maiden and should benefit from the extra furlong.
