Not had much chance to look so far:

2.10 Lin This is a two and a half mile race.  I had to look twice to believe it.  Who can say which horse can best see this out? I'll pass

1.20 Uttx Pasqualita has shortened from 2/1 last night to 6/4 today.  The horse is un-raced and I like to see them prove themselves before I back them.  Ginger Du Val has good recent form and is steady at 5/2 but I'll give the race a miss

1.55 Uttx, Percy's Word should win this but it is still a maiden and was beaten at short odds last time. Hats off to it if it wins but I'm not taking 11/10 about it

3.05 Uttx All Hail Caeser £3 win at 8.33 = £21.56 profit if it wins.  The horse was posted at around 3/1 last night so it is a drifter at a best price of 7/1.  I am reminded of Global Prospector who drifted out to 10/1 yesterday and won well.  I am  adopting the attitude now that the selection is still the same horse despite market influences.  When these horses win they more than make up for the shortening priced horses that lose.

I was right about 3 of the above and have saved money by not backing them

3.40 Uttx Siannes Star £3.20 at 7.4 = £18.11 profit if it wins.  Big drifter was 6/4, 5/2 last night.  Had £2.00 at 2.68 on the favourite Yccs Portocervo.  This has stayed strong in the market.  I wiil get out at B/E if this beats my horse

3.30 Catt Seas Of Elzaam £3.20 win 13/2 = £24 return if it wins.  The bookies are all over the place on prices for this one, some quoting as low as 3/1.  I don't fancy any of the front two in the market as an insurance bet

4.05 Catt Muntadab £8.00win at 3.9 = £21.36 profit if it wins.  Have had £3 win at 3.9 on the favourite = 69p profit as an insurance bet

Will look at two races at Yarmouth next

Well The Cruising Lord shortened to something like 2.86 and then drifted out and my bet got matched at 3.6 a few minutes before the off.  Just kicking myself not to have had a small wager on Global Prospector. sure it drifted out to 10/1 but it was still the same horse at the start of the race wasn't it?  Some more for this evening at Southwell are:

    5.45 Court duty £2 win at 17 = £31.36 if it wins

    6.15 Yeavering Belle £4.50 win at 5.6 = £20.29 if it wins

    7.15 Olympic Conqueror £8 win at 3.4 = £18.82 if it wins

8.20 Oasis Prince Trying to get £2.50 matched at 9.2 (currently 8.2).  Pinnacle Peak is the obvious one here but it does have a 7lbs penalty and is trying to win a class 4 event instead of a class 5

8.50 Isthebaropen (BH) Trying to get £5 win matched at 5.1 (currently 4.7).  A load of money has come for Druim Samhaidh best price 5/2. This was available at 15/2 last night  so if you believe in following the money then this may be good for you.

    Total possible stakes = £32.20

Good luck to one and all

    RESULTS UPDATE

Only one winner today with Brian Hughes a board.  A little bit disappointing but that's racing for you.  When you back the favourites they lose and when you don't they win.  Never mind tomorrow is another day.  The net loss today was £7.11 which makes my new balance £751.04 (Bank £1056.22)

Five meetings in the UK tomorrow. Only two class 3 races with short priced favourites and 7 class 4 races with a maximum favourite's price of 11/4.  It's gonna be another tough one folks

Been busy with other stuff today so far.

I have looked at two afternoon races and will look at the evening one's later:

3.05 Bath The Cruising Lord.Trying for an £8 win at 3.6 (was 3.45 and now 3.15) Looks like a good bet with other fancied horses drifting badly.  I'll let it go if my price isn't matched

3.15 Bev.  Golden Flame is very strong in the market at 8/11.  Not my idea of a value bet in a handicap.  I have placed £2.20 at 10.5 on Ben Lilly.  This is a drifter but hopefully still the same horse.  I will win £20.48 should it prevail.

    Had a look at Lingfield

7.05 Raaeb is the money horse at 5/2 with Jim Crowley aboard but there are plenty of dangers so I'll pass.

7.35 Delicate Kiss 75p win at 28/1 with Bet 365.  Looks to have a chance of winning but there are lot of dangers at shorter odds

8.35 Enough Already £2 win at 11/1 = £24 return if it wins.  Looks a danger to all and worth a small punt at that price

    RESULTS UPDATE

A neck winner for me today has given me a decent profit on the day of £18.42.  I think Enough Already was a bit unlucky to be beaten 5 lengths since it was hampered twice.  Never mind.  My new balance is £758.15 (Bank £1156.22)

Four UK meetings tomorrow.  Only one Class 4 race at both Brighon and Bath.  There is a class 3 race at Beverley with an 11/8 favourite.  Only Southwell over the jumps has four class 4 races and one class 3 race.  Out of all the races the best priced favourite is 3/1 .  Hence 6 class 4 races and two class 3 races is the best quality racing we punters have at our disposal. 🙁

Got a double in so far but won't pay for the Yankee.  I have cancelled my £2.20 win bet in the 5.10 and replaced it wit a 70p win bet on Bet365 at 5/2

    RESULTS UPDATE

Well at least I got a treble and 3 doubles.  The return including the small win bet was £28.78 less £6.20 = £22.58 net profit.  I feel that I would have got better value by having £5.50 single win bet on a 4/1 shot!  This makes my new balance £739.23 (Bank £1056.22)

I must say that I don't like this Yankee bet.  I know that it costs 50p less than my Trixie and I have an extra selection but I only have 1/3 of my Trixie stake going on to my selections.  I am going back to my Trixie bet in future.  I will stick with a singles bet on the last selection should the first two fail to win.  This to me is an excellent strategy for anyone who loves their multiple bets.  Further more and I feel that this is most important I will revert back to my main staking plan for my singles bets  For example £20 at 1/1, £10 at 2/1, £5 at 4/1. £2.50 at 8/1 down to £1 at 20/1.  My Trixies will just be treated as small side bets and my main bets will be singles.

Back to Monday dross tomorrow.  Ayr and Wolves have only class 5 & 6 races.  Lingfield has one Class 3 and one class 4 race, whilst Newton Abbot has 3 class 4 races, two class 4 with two short priced runners, one other with a 13/8 favourite and a class 3 with a 2/1 favourite.  Racing at WIndsor has been abandoned.  Not a lot of class action to choose from in the UK imo

Just to clarify - I do ALL the Naps on the 'racing tips' section. Tumbleweed King, who incidentally has had some nice wins with his acca bets, covers JUST the 'acca' bets on racing tips section on ,Friday ,Saturday & Sunday.. So tomorrows racing tips are all mine including the Nap with Tumbleweed King doing the daily acca.

    Hope that helps.

Very many thanks.  What another great day you had today.  You are a hero to all your followers on Punters Lounge 🙂

4.25 NM Oxted £2 win at 6.8 (fianale of Yankee with no winners yet)

    RESULTS UPDATE

Not a bad day considering I got nothing from Yankee bets today.  I put a wasted £2 on Oxted when I had forgotten that I had backed it for a £1 stake on Bet365.  I also meant to have at least a £1 bet on Ardbracaan in the 1.30 and forgot to do this too.  I had two winners with Starman and Native Trail and therefore a £3.77 loss on the day doesn't seem too bad.  My new balance is £717.15 (Bank £1056.22)

Looks like we have 11 class 4 races and just 3 class 3 races in the UK tomorrow.  Disgusting that the racing authorities plonk all the high class races on a Saturday and only leave us punters with scraps for the rest of the week!

I’ll always try and do writes ups on the forum on the terrestrial television races if possible. My selections with write ups can be found daily on the racing tips section. @Tumbleweed King covers the ‘acca’ bet in racing tips on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Hope t if at all makes sense!

Thanks.  I missed reading this reply.  When you say "acca" bet you mean the accunmulator, yes? Does @Tumbleweed Kingdo the Nap as well on Thursday, Friday and Saturday? Sorry to be pedantic but if people are puting money on your selections I'm just trying to make sure that they know which ones they are backing.  Ooops.  Looks like your analysis under the "Naps" entry

If you click on racing tips then ‘expand all’ you’ll get all my daily tips and analysis

Yes, many thanks.  the point I was trying to make was that if Tumbleweed King did some postings on different days then, if someone was following just your tips then they wouldn't know that they were following someone else's tips.  Sorry to make this long winded but this it what it seems like to me.  I guess if you signed your tips and Tumbleweed signed his/her tips then there would be no confusion

Yes, but as I understand it there are two tipsters, the brigadier and Tumbleweed King.  I was told before that Tumbleweed King did a Friday to Sunday stint whilst the Brigadier did the rest of the week.  This seems very confusing to me; especiailly if someone wants to follow the Brigadier's tips when there is no detailed analysis

  16. 39 minutes ago, The Brigadier said:

Another satisfying day finding 5 winners and 7 returns from the 11 ITV races. A healthy profit of  28.92 points on the day at advised prices.

Very well done again today.  Does this mean that you will be posting up Friday - Sunday from now on instead of Tumbleweed King?  And, in the interest of your followers will it be you who posts up on other days without the analysis?  Just trying to help your followers to follow you on the forum in future days

I do have some other singles fancies but will come back later on these

    RESULTS UPDATE

Just one winner in the above yankee and singles bet.  This caused  a loss of £6.50.  My new balance is £720.92 (Bank £1056.22).

As explained earlier I will not be placing single win bets on my multiples.  Instead I will see how the bet runs and if no winners have been selected at the last leg I will use a stake to cover the total cost of the multiple bet.  If there is a possibility of a winning double and the forecast return is less than the multiple stake I will just risk the small bit more to get out at B/E.  If for any reason and at any stage of a running bet the total stake is covered I will just let the bet run and accept the return that will be received.

Just like today, tomorrow will see a lot of class 1, 2 and 3 races; so annoying that they are crammed into one day and not spread out evenly during the week.

I will have less time this weekend because my son is home for his fortnightly visit.  However, I will try to find some selections to back
