Was there really no Racing Chat yesterday? I think that's a first for me, don't ever remember that happening before. 😲

Just watched the race and having originally thought that Green Triangle might have been a bit nervy after what happened in that last race, i don't think that was it. Although i didn't think any jockey could ride a horse worse than that, the jockey yesterday was pretty close imo, using a lot of pace at the start for no reason by disputing the lead and then kicking for home too early while still going around the bend, therefore being 2 or 3 wide over-taking the outsider that was never going to be a problem anyway. Then run out of steam way before the finish. If badly/falsely run race is high in your opinion, i would agree and wouldn't give up on GT just yet. 

I think a lot of people just don't like the shergar cup hence the lack of interest .....a lot of people just see it  as a poor effort to kinda emulate the Ryder cup but in racing .....I know the vast majority of my friends just are not interested in even betting on it and see it more of a p.r exercise lol 🤣 
I don't think there's anything untoward with the forum ....the racing has been a bit low key ....we are just waiting for more interesting racing to get our teeth into

Just shows, but you have to say it as you see it. Either January is a very good horse or this was a badly/falsely run race only time will tell but the time was slow here with-

Some great picks on the last day from some of you guys and girls and well done @roy keane on your win. Fresh from winning the Lucky 15 comp, where he won bugger all, only bragging rights, nice to see @yossa6133 get 2nd and in the money and having missed the first day, @PercyP kept up his current good form from the naps comp in this one as well, getting 3rd, so well done. I must mention @Rainbow as well, who was unlucky to finish out of the money by 5p, but did win a daily prize, as well as all the others, so well done to them also.

Keep any eye out for any bets on here that anyone puts up that might take your fancy. I'll "@" you if I'm posting any that are with Sky Bet. They might be a bit time sensitive though!

Most of my bets are anytime goalscorer bets so I'm on Lacazette to score at 11/4. If that felt a bit skinny for a fiver freebie I was flagging that 22/1 for him to score 2 or more didn't look bad (bigger than my "fair" odds but not quite by enough margin for me to bet).
I forget that not everyone is as steeped in the player markets as I am so I'll try and be a bit clearer in future! Then again, now you know how I feel sometimes when I'm bamboozled by stuff on the racing thread!

Oh, 22-1 is reasonable, is that what you meant? Still didn't know what 2+ was though. Remember i know nothing about football betting and by that i mean what simple initials stand for (simple to you i mean) or 2+, is that 2 or more of something? Sorry for being an idiot, but thanks for your help. 

Yea maybe, can't look back to see now, deleted it, but i get your point on the amount of money the bookies would have made and us poor old punters would have lost. 
Not so much the night before, but i get up early, anything between 0300- 0500hrs and i used to have a coffee and get started on looking though the races and placing some bets, and still getting BOG, i miss that. I start later now because BOG has changed and find i'm still going through stuff late afternoon because of interruptions, where-as i used to be finished by 1000hrs, 11 at the latest, but i suppose i should be grateful i still get BOG at all, so i shouldn't complain.
