Opelka to beat Munar at 1.80 with bet365
Opelka impressed all us with his run in Rome. He beat Gasquet, Musetti, Karatsev and Delbonis, all of them in straight sets. After that he lost against Cuevas in Geneva. Probably he was not interested on that small event after reaching the SFs in Rome. In his first match here he has destroyed Andrej Martin (6-3, 6-2, 6-4). Munar has played a lot of matches on clay this year (29-11) but only a few of them were against big players. He has suffered a lot against Thompson (6-7, 6-1, 7-6, 6-4) despite being a huge favorite (1.10). Probably we'll see some TBs here but I take Opelka anyways.

I have a feeling that Pouille might produce an upset today by beating Cuevas. He can be good on clay and is 8 years younger than 35 years old Cuevas.
2.95 for Pouille seems too much for me and definitely there is value here.

Cilic to beat Borges Nuno at 1.52 with Unibet
Cilic succeeded to pass over Alcaraz yesterday, being considered an underdog. He persevered in the 3rd set after losing the 2nd 1:6. That is important and shows that he has interest in staying in this tournament.
Borges seems to love clay and has won many games in challengers/ITFs. He even suceeded to beat Thompson and Carballes Baena. Will he have all it takes to beat Cilic? I don't think so.

Don't get why bookers offer ~2.2 on the win of Thompson over Borges Nuno.
Well, I get that clay is not the favourite surface of Thompson, but, still, Borges Nuno has played only in challengers so far and is 331 ATP.
Have no clue if Thompson will be motivated to stay in the tournament for at least a couple of games but, as preparation for Madrid, Rome... he might put some effort.

Paire to beat Gaio @1.78 unibet
Having won a few games in doubles (with Mannarino) to qualify to main draw, I hope there will be motivation for Paire to play.
5:0 for him in first round of Barcelona ATP. 1 win over Gaio in 2015 (not so important). Former semifinalist.
This guy is a joke and unpredictable but even such players, knowing their talent, have to start to win from time to time. IMHO, it’s a good moment and place.

I've read that
Still, Miami and Acapulco have passed. This is another tournament (closer to his home). He has won a few doubles. Even if he said that a few weeks ago, I expect him to want to start winning once. Otherwise, he will drop soon so low, that no tournaments will invite him any more and no money will be available to collect.
Obviously, no bankers on this game

Agree. Logic should be the primary reason. Illogical outcomes are rather exceptions than normality.

Let's hope both Rublev and Carreno-Busta are just slow starters :)))

I'd go with Rublev, but I'm taking both as you've noticed. Hi and welcome to the forum @Stanimal!

Pablo Carreno-Busta to beat Casper Ruud at 1.97 with Pinnacle
Going for this one as well, I liked how PCB played against Khachanov and Ruud is priced on the result from yesterday, overvalued I'd say. I think PCB holds a decent edge and I wouldn't have him above 1.7 personally.

Today will be the first clay match of Tsitsipas but Karatsev had his first one yesterday as well.
I've watched yesterday's match between Karatsev and Musetti. Cannot say that I was impressed by Karatsev. I'd rather say that was unpleasantly impressed by the weak game of Musetti. He just was overpowered by the strong hits of the Russian.
Tsitsipas is good on clay. He has beaten on clay such figures and Zverev, Nadal, Rublev, Garin (who is good on clay). It will depend of the motivation and mind state of Tsitsipas but for sure he will be challenge few levels above Musetti.
I would give the first chance to Tsitsipas

Herbert to beat Norrie at 1.91 with William Hill
I like Herbert for this match. He's really good on indoors and he beat Nishikori easily (6-1, 6-4) in his first round while Norrie had problems with Lestienne (6-4, 6-7, 6-3). None of these players was on a good form but Herbert has showed more and i have seen him playing really good matches on this surface.
