  1. Re: The Tipsters System Last night i started looking at what would of happened if only bets at evens or lower were layed from the tipsters list using the 2 and 3 point system.Over the last 28 days i was surprised to see that there would of been a profit of approx £150.I certainly think your on the right track Pinhofap and would like to echo other people's thoughts that this system is far from dead.

  2. Re: The Tipsters System Pinhofap It,s been a bad couple of days yer,but the system is still in profit so i'm going to carry on with it.I don't like looking back and thinking what if,done that too many times in my life already. Not surprised your stopping especially as your away from your own computer terminal for so long.Have you thought about tweaking the system.Would it be beneficial to not lay the top 5 tipsters as they are all in profit and that's not good for layers.Would it be better to trigger the 2 and 3 point bets at lower odds i.e. 2 point bet comes into play at 1.75 say and the 3 point bet at 1.5.Just a few thoughts. Also don't forget this has been running live for nearly 4 weeks and the bank has never been under the start amount(touch wood)which ain't bad,and lastly welcome to good old Blighty, hope you enjoy your stay. Keep the Faith :dude

I don't think so, in fact the horses between 2/1 and 11/4 provide the most selections and the biggest turnover (although not the higher yield). We'll just have to sit this through, today it was bad luck having the odds-on failing and the "long" ones coming in. It will turn, when I reach 500 bets I'll analyze everything again. Fingers crossed.

  4. Re: The Tipsters System More problems for me with auto-bf,2 bets missed.Malaaq and Malyana:sad though at least it was only a loss of £0.45 to-day.According to the log the bets were started and stopped 1 min before the race which normally means the bets been layed, other bets like Sir Nod and River Kirov were also started and stopped 1min before the off even though they were nowhere near the minimum 4 and should of stayed on the system for 20 minutes.Going to uninstall and re-download app and give it one last try tomorrow,i'm not too optimistic though.I expect to be dumping this app in the bin tomorrow night. Well done to all those who had a win to-day:ok

  5. Re: The Tipsters System I also had problems with auto-betfair today. It only put on 6 out of the 12 bets today. It missed the first 2 then did the next 3 then missed the next 4 then did the next 3.Yes i know that i have been extremely lucky to of missed out on the worse bets and for that i'm very grateful but i would much rather that auto-betfair did what i told it to do so i can have the confidence to leave it running,it could quite of easily missed out all the good bets and placed most of the bad.It layed Bachelor Party at 3.85 but doesn't lay The Trader at 3 which is less of a liability.:unsureCan't see that i did anything wrong when inputting the data. Any idea's anybody? Good luck for tomorrow.

Hi, Very interesting thread and great work pinho. I've noticed a few people say they can't always access betfair during the afternoon - you may be interested in the auto betfair package they've just launched which allows user to post ranges that they want to back/lay within and it monitors the market and adjusts the bets accordingly (http://labs.betfair.com/labs.aspx). I haven't tried it myself but thought some people might get some benefit from it. Good luck all KP66
Looks like this could be a handy little tool for those of us out at work during the day, my biggest hassle at the moment is having to return home every lunchtime.Though it makes me feel nervous to entrust this app to lay my money for me,which means leaving the computer on unattended,i think i'll give it a go.Best to only leave the days possible liabilities in the Betfair account just in case this app goes haywire or you accidently type in the wrong orders and don't notice,of which in my case this could be a high possibility:unsure Well spotted KP66
  7. Re: The Tipsters System Pinhofap Key sentence for me in your post is "The main things i've learnt here at PL are that you have to be systematic and have discipline and you can't win all the time." Totally agree, that's one of the things i've learnt from reading threads from this forum and others.I'm a total novice when it comes to laying horses and the first horse ive ever layed was Leopard King.I didn't want to,the price of this horse compared to the price of the 2nd fav with a small number of runners was telling me that Leopard King had won before the race had started,my first thoughts were to start your system after this race. Then i thought that if i do that what will i do further down the line when races like this and worse come up having already been influenced by my own decision to not bet on the first race.:unsureIf you have a belief and the confidence in your system, which is one of the most unusal i've seen, then IMHO discipline and commitment will be the key.Win or lose i commend you for this system,i can only guess the amount of hours you've put in number crunching and testing and i really hope it is a success for you and you get your holiday in Norway.I've heard sailing through the fjords is one of the most beautiful places on earth. A big, big, big:ok from me.I'm a definite convert to laying and i'm having fun:D

  8. Re: The Tipsters System Hi Pinhofap, thanks for the welcome.I've decided to stick to the rules and the parameters you've set out as they've been tried and tested in your paper trial and i'm not betting with a bankroll that i can't afford to lose, not that i want to lose it.First time i've layed a bet, seems a bit strange to want the horse to lose.Missed out on Princess Taise, had a Homer Simpson moment, but otherwise near enough the same figures as you.Early days at the moment, enough said :):hope

  9. Re: The Tipsters System Hi Pinhofap, been looking at your thread on your lay system and i like what you've been doing.I like the look of the system and the stakes strategy where you increase and decrease as necessary, gives the system a bit of flexibility though it scares the hell out of me betting on favourites.Still i think this is crazy enough to give it a try.Hope you don't mind if i join in the betting, obviously realise that if it all goes tits up its my own stupid fault and nobodies else. Good Luck:hope
