I like it when a player suddenly finds a bit of form and Mackenzie McDonald is flying this week.
Daniil's confidence would have taken a big knock losing to Lajovic in the manner that he did last week so it's another longshot from me.

I also think that Ramos has a good chance here.  OK, Medvedev had a great week in Monte Carlo but eventually failed at the most important moment against Layovic. We know poor Medvedev's performance on clay, it seems to me that his good game last week is rather an exception and I expect to lose in the first rounds.  I expect victory for Grigor Dimitrov, Verdasco is not in good shape and I do not think he has a chance here.  Dimitrov played awesome 1st set against Nadal and would win against any player other than Rafa. The Bulgarian already lost a lot of points last week, and now has to defend the quarterfinals from last year.

Any obvious reason why Leicester are big favourites to win at West Ham?  On paper, West Ham's form is poor, with 4 losses in 5, although 3 of those were away.  I watched their game against Man U last weekend and they didn't deserve to lose the game and really should have won.  Leicester also coming off a loss in their last game at home to Newcastle which halted their good form of late.
I really don't see why Leicester are such big favourites to win this one, and other than trying to finish 7th which might get you in Europe, there is nothing much to play for for either team.  For me both teams are on a similar level of ability and no result would surprise me.  West Ham have home advantage, and as they are nearly a point bigger than the Leicester price, I think they are definitely worth a punt at 3.4 (betfair).
Good luck @StevieDay1983 if you try and preview the Man City Spurs game.  After the emotion of last night I have absolutely no idea what the mindset of either team will be!

Obviously Nadal is the beast of Monte Carlo and everything, I suppose that I don't need to go into the specifics here, but come on, should he really be a 6.5 game favourite against a legit player in his first match after an injury break? Definitely willing to give this a shot on technical terms, no need to favour Nadal so much just yet.

    Watford vs Arsenal
This elongated (ooh er!) Premier League round of fixtures continues tonight when Watford take on their closest top flight rivals in Arsenal in an 8pm kick-off at Vicarage Road. The Hornets will be looking to build on their FA Cup Semi-Final success of last weekend and the Gunners will be looking to bounce back into the top four.
Watford are in 10th place but there's nothing of any real significance to play for in the league. It's all about that highly anticipated date with Manchester City at Wembley in May. Matches like this are just getting in the way if we're honest. They're playing for pride but that's about it. 7th place is realistically the highest they can finish so it might offer a potential back door option into Europe if they lose the FA Cup Final.
Arsenal currently sit in 6th place and Unai Emery's side are all about finishing in the Champions League qualification spots. The club is just 3 points behind Chelsea in 4th place and have two games in hand on their London rivals. Unfortunately, Arsenal haven't managed to keep a clean sheet away from home this season so the pressure is on their attack to deliver the goods.
The last time these two sides met at Vicarage Road it ended in a win for Watford but Arsenal had won on their previous four visits to the ground. None of the past 11 league meetings between these two sides have ended in a draw. Vicarage Road has become  a bit of a fortress for Watford with the club winning their last three home matches and remaining undefeated at home since Boxing Day.
Despite all the signs pointing to another banana skin for Arsenal, I think they'll probably win this one narrowly. They've got a lot more to fight for than Watford heading into this game and have won 5 of their last 7 league games... even though their last match was that defeat to Everton. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leads the Premier League scorers chart but he's failed to score on the road in the league this calendar year. I'm going to back that to change tonight.

Mischa Zverev vs. Julian Ocleppo @3.35 Pinnacle 8/10
Zverev in horrendous form and shape. Looked horrible vs. Daniel in Marrakech. Clay was always his worst surface. Don't see him winning many matches next few weeks. Might cash out some bigger tournaments though and looking forward to grass court. I doubt you can make him a favorite right now vs any decent claycourt player out there. Ocleppo looking solid enough to take advantage of Zverevs bad form. Ocleppo once was a good prospect, beat guys like Auger-Aliassime or Yibing Wu as a junior for example.

i'm going to try burnley, everton, southampton treble and the reasons
burnley played their best game of the season last week. it's time to put nail in the coffin of cardiff hopeful. cardiff didn't do enough to stay up this season. there will be good feeling in the burnley camp after their performance last week and another win is more than likely
everton has improved 360 defensively and teams are finding it very difficult to break down. arsenal couldn't do it on monday and everton has won last three without conceding. they should be able to pick this fulham team in same way
wolverhampton will be downspirited after missing out on fa cup final and it comes at right time for southampton to pick them off at home.

    Slavia Prague vs Chelsea
The second match I'm looking into for the Europa League Quarter-Finals this week is the encounter between Czechia (the new term for Czech Republic apparently!) club Slavia Prague and Premier League side Chelsea that is scheduled to kick-off on Thursday night at 8pm in the Eden Arena.
Slavia Prague have surprised a few by reaching this stage of the competition. It's not often that a Czechia side makes it to the last 8 of a European competition. Jindrich Trpisovsky's men have a 7 point lead at the top of their domestic league. They have also eased through to the Semi-Finals of the Czech Cup.
On the European front, their Champions League quest might have ended early but they've done what's needed to be done in the Europa League. The team squeezed through from the group stage to the knock-out phase in 2nd place behind Zenit St Petersburg ahead of Bordeaux and FC Copenhagen. A dominant 4-1 win over Genk was followed by an extra-time shock win over Sevilla. They are not to be under-estimated.
Chelsea continue to mystify us punters this season. Does anybody really have a clue what Maurizio Sarri's side are going to do next? The Blues are inconsistent in the league sitting in 3rd place but a string of three consecutive wins have steadied their domestic form. They have won 9 and drawn 1 of their 10 games in this competition so they're clearly taking it very seriously.
The big news coming into this game is that Sarri has stated Hazard is looking fatigued and could well be rested for this game. The fact Chelsea play Liverpool this coming weekend suggests that a top four finish will take priority over this cup. I can foresee a number of changes being made to the Chelsea side and that could well weaken them against a Slavia Prague side that haven't lost at home in all competitions since 18th August, 2018.
As tempted as I am to back a home win due to the odds, I feel Chelsea will still have enough to get a win here. They're re-discovering their best form again as the season enters its final stages. Slavia Prague have impressed this season and shouldn't be taken lightly but this Blues side is fearless in Europe.

    Manchester United vs Barcelona
The Champions League last 8 continues tonight when Premier League side Manchester United host La Liga leaders Barcelona in this 8pm kick-off at Old Trafford. All the odds are pointing in favour of the visitors but is there any chance the home side can get a victory here?
Manchester United have lost two of their last three competitive games under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Nobody is panicking just yet and memories of that famous night in Paris last month are still fresh but questions are starting to be asked. Is this Red Devils squad simply good enough to compete at this top level? Surely, United fans must be trembling at the prospect of Lionel Messi versus Chris Smalling and Luis Suarez versus Phil Jones.
Barcelona are all but there after their 2-0 win over Atletico Madrid on the weekend. That victory puts Ernesto Valverde's men 11 points clear at the summit of La Liga with just 7 league games to play. The prospect of adding the Champions League trophy to that haul is a mouth-watering one.
This will be the first time United and Barcelona have faced each other since the 2011 Final when Barcelona prevailed as 3-1 winners. Messi stole the show on that day and the Argentine magic man is once again the player to watch having scored 22 goals in 30 Champions League games against English clubs.
Interestingly, United have never won a home European match against Barcelona. The last time these two sides met at Old Trafford was in the 2007/08 Champions League when United won 1-0. A similar score-line seems a little optimistic and I'm actually swaying between a draw and away win.
My feeling is that this Barcelona side simply has too much for United. I can see tonight being a classic European night but I still think there are so many cracks that have been papered over since Solskjaer took charge. They were extremely fortunate to beat PSG and could have lost by more in that first leg. I'm going to back a Barcelona win in a Messi-led display.

    Tottenham vs Manchester City
The Champions League Quarter-Final first legs are here. Apologies for the lateness of this one. I had intended to get it up yesterday but I was struck down with a nasty sickness bug. Only just seeing the light of day now. Anyway, it's an all-Premier League clash between Tottenham and Manchester City at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tonight in an 8pm kick-off.
Tottenham opened up their new stadium with a solid 2-0 win over Crystal Palace in the league last week. Games won't come much bigger than this so it's a fantastic opportunity to write some early history in the new £1 billion stadium. Having just conceded 1 goal in their last 4 Champions League matches Mauricio Pochettino's side will be keen to keep another clean sheet here.
Manchester City continue their quest to win the seemingly impossible quadruple. Well, seemingly impossible according to Pep Guardiola. The EFL Cup has been sealed already and his side reached the FA Cup Final on the weekend. It's very much a realistic possibility given their league position and the 10-2 aggregate win over Schalke in the previous round of this competition.
City have dominated the head-to-head in recent matches with 3 wins and 1 draw from their last 4 encounters. The only time Pochettino has got the better of Pep in the Premier League was a 2-0 win in the Spaniard's first season in charge at the Etihad Stadium.
The betting is going to favour City here and I suppose anyone betting against them would be a fool. It feels like nobody can touch them but their past two performances against Cardiff and Brighton have hardly been inspirational. Still, that's what great sides do. They find a way to win. I think Tottenham might be worth backing to get something from this. I'd fancy the draw a lot more than the home win though. I still feel if one team is going to win this game then it'll be City.

@StevieDay1983 good preview and a fair assessment IMO.
I actually think Spurs are capable of getting a win here.  City have slowed up in the last few games and while they have still won the games against weaker teams than spurs, they have not been doing it with the same style and swagger of earlier in the season.
There are three main reasons why I think spurs are capable of a win tonight:
    1. 6 days rest for spurs compared to 2.5 for city, and aguero just coming back from injury so he may not be match sharp.
    2. City don't need to win the game, they just want to be in touch to give them a decent chance of going through in the return leg next week.
    3. Whenever I watch city in the CL they seem a different team to the one we see in the PL in that they seem to struggle more against lesser opposition.  This season I would say they have underperformed in 4/6 group stage games against both Hoffenheim and Lyon, and Schalke gave them a good game at their place in the last 16.  Spurs are a level above those three teams IMO.
City are rightful favourites as they are for just about every game at the moment, but I think spurs +1 at 1.91 is worth a shot in these circumstances.

    Everton vs Arsenal
One of the tougher matches to call in the Premier League this weekend is the enticing clash between mid-table Everton and Champions League qualification chasing Arsenal in a 2:05pm kick-off at Goodison Park this Sunday. Naturally, I've decided to stick my nose into this one!
Everton are a bloody nightmare for punters this season. Generally, they've underwhelmed but just when you think you've worked them out they throw a spanner into the works. Marco Silva's side are 10th in the table but a season that appeared to be dying a slow death has been rejuvenated by back-to-back wins.
Arsenal have been a similar pain for those betting on their games. Just when you think they're running out of steam and the opposition has worked them out they bounce back to form. Unai Emery's men are 4th in the league table and could move up to 3rd and 3 points inside the top four.
The Toffees have regained their grit and determination after the victories against Chelsea and West Ham. The two clean sheets have given the defence a confidence boost they needed coming into a game against Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette. The issue is that they've only won 1 of their last 4 home matches.
The Gunners still struggle on the road. Emery's team have only picked up 5 wins in their 14 away matches and backing them for a win here seems a tall order. Injury concerns to Granit Xhaka and Laurent Koscielny plus the suspension of Lucas Torreira are worrying. My gut is backing a draw here but I wouldn't be surprised to see a home win either.

    Bournemouth vs. Burnley
I feel like Bournemouth are slightly underrated in this match. While both teams aren't in the best of form, Bournemouth's home form is completely different from their away form. As for Burnley, they went on a great run of 5 wins and 3 draws but then they suffered 4 straight defeats before winning their last match against Wolves, which I feel is a factor in why the bookies might be overrating Burnley here but that win was at home, and while Wolves are great against the "Big Six", they actually have a very poor record against the bottom teams in the premier league.
Bournemouth have lost just four matches at home all season - from Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City - and won 7 and drew 5. Only the "Big Six" and Wolves have a better xG at home than Bournemouth and they're are ranked 11th in xGA, whereas Burnley are ranked 15th in xG and 19th in xGA away from home so far this season. Burnley have won just three away matches all season; against Cardiff, Huddersfield, and Brighton, and have drawn 4 and lost 9. My main concern is that Bournemouth might be lacking in motivation at the moment given their mid-table standing, whereas Burnley are fighting to avoid relegation and would love to get something out of this match before their six-pointer vs. Cardiff next week.
Having said that, I still think Bournemouth will be too strong for them at home. They could've easily won their recent two home matches against Wolves and Newcastle instead of drawing them; they missed an 85th-minute penalty in the former and conceded a 94th-minute goal in the latter and were the better team in both matches with a superior xG.

Bradley Klahn to beat Donald Young at 1.72 with Unibet
Donald Young is a little bit of a Simone Bolelli player. He never has reached any bigger highs in his career and he's out of top 100 for awhile now and doesn't seem to be coming back any time soon. Just like Simone he was ranked top 50 for awhile but never won an ATP tournament because in the best tournament he ever played in Bangkok where he beat Gael Monfils in the semi he met Andy Murray for the title and obviously didn't stand a chance. Now he's up against the likes of Collin Altamirano and other prospects. In this match he's up against the dangerous Brad Klahn who atm is ranked 86 compared to Donald at 217 and I can only see this going one way and it's the way of Brad. In Aptos challenger 2013 Brad won their previous meeting by 6-4 6-4 and judging by the way Brad has been playing till now he shouldn't experience to mutch trouble in dispatching Donald. I rate Brad just like his ranking is saying right now and it's that Brad is a top 100 player and plays like he is ranked between 70-99 constantly and it's pretty decent while Donald isn't even anywhere near top 150 in his game. To get to the quarter Donald has beaten Roberto Ortega-Olmedo, Paolo Lorenzi and Santi Giraldo which on a hardcourt is no big deal. I'd be a big deal if he defeats Brad tonight but I have my doubts about his level. Donald is no longer at the peak of his career and it was a long time ago since he even won a challenger title.

Its the last match of matchday 32 and we will see Arsenal who honestly plays for me the most sexiest football(I am talking at home),and on other side we have Newcastle which have good character(I think that is because of Benitez experience with winning trophies with big clubs).Against big six they didnt lost with margin bigger than one this season and they are defending so organized and putting Diamme and Hayden on role DMF they will close empty spaces in Arsenal final third. At other side Arsenal plays so attatcking and in my opinion that can be costly for them because Newcastle is capable to have some good counter attack.Their main weakness will be playing without Torreira and Xhaka because today they dont have player in the middle who can play defense so good.I want to say Guenduzi is typical CM player with no good atribute at defense and Ramsey is like Rambo but he also isnt good at defense. So I think Arsenal will attacking but with some doses of caution because they know Newcastle can be very dangerous

I'm on Burnley to beat Wolves.  Main reasoning is as I say every week, Wolves don't turn up to play the lesser PL teams and Burnley are definitely in that category.  Wolves also have Man Utd on Tuesday and then the FA Cup semi final next weekend.  I think they just want to get through this game and don't really care about the result a great deal.
Burnley have been in poor form but the international break came at a good time for them and now they have a great chance to get some points and push clear of Cardiff before their game on Sunday.  Wolves form in the PL isn't all that great either.  They lost to Huddersfield which takes some doing and I think Burnley are good things to take advantage of a dis-interested Wolves team with a focus on Tuesday and next weekend.  Burnley at 3.25 (betfair) with a decent stake for me.

Maxime has been cruising this week with 3 wins in straight sets and Nico should not have an easy match here.
