MCLARKE got a reaction from gbettle in Quick System
I agree. I supported Wednesday home and away for many years in the 70s, 80s and 90s, in those days probably half the team were born in Sheffield, these days you are lucky if they were born in the UK.
Football sold out years ago when the premier league was formed, apart from the top 6 you have no chance (I think Leicester was an exception). Premiership survival is the ambition of most teams.
I would be happy to get rid of the top 6, then the rest would have something to play for. Ok there would be less money flying around but perhaps we can start paying players £500k a year instead of £500k a week.

Football isn’t football anymore mate. This super league has been on the agenda for years . The premier league is an absolute joke as well and I hate us being part of it, but for the future of the club though it’s where they need to be and and hate that, too. I’ve completely turned my back on the game now. I’ve been a villa season ticket holder for years, but I’m done . This ain’t the game I fell in love with . People go on about the dark days of football back in the 70s/80s. Give me that any day of the week compared to this diluted money grabbing thing we call football now .

Noticed a bit of an oddity ........ 1.35 at Ludlow, Baby King
In his career the horse has won 6 races but he's never won by a whole length or more ........
wins - nose, 3/4L, neck, neck, head, neck

RESULTS UPDATE
No winners today. Relkadam ran a shocker and Tico TImes apparently lost a shoe. = A £9.71 loss. My new balance is £1,018.11. Should have backed Burrows Diamond but, as they say hindsight is no sight ?

That's 350.00....lol ......if it was 3500 after 18 races I'd be betting 50 a race now ??....if I can keep it profitable now I'll be happy ....doesnt have to be perfect but if the occasional big winner can keep it in front I'll be happy
There are some nice hcaps coming up the weekend ....2 or 3 losing races and you drop down ....1 x 16/1 winner and its happy days .....all in the lap of the racing gods now ......I'll test it to destruction .....I know it will pick winners for certain ....its just whether its consistent enough to be long term profitable .....I genuinely think it's a coin toss 50/50
In a monthes time we could have a long losing run and bum out ....or the bank could be 3x what it is now ......theres a certain amount of pure luck involved and how often the bigger priced come in ....4x losing races is minus 80 ....but if the 5th race wins at 11/1 your laughing ....the only thing for certain is price isnt a factor ....if a 33/1 is top 2 rated then it can win and you only need one of those to go in .....
So the big hcaps are risky by nature ....but the rewards could be huge
I feel quietly confident....but yes weve all seen the ground open up and swallow you so my advice is never bet more than you can afford to lose then you'll be ok no matter what happens
It's not like it's never gonna pick another winner cos that ridiculous....its just can I keep it profitable?
If I get chance tomorrow I'll work out what 5pt ew returns are top 2 .....it may well be an ew bet could be a better long term prospect given the high percentage of placed horses ?....
Either way we are gonna learn something ?

I need to trust more ...lol .....18 races ...a 10pt win blindly on top 2 is now showing a profit of 350 .00 pts ...that's mad

I agree, it's a great tool and probably the reason that I make money but it isn't perfect, there have been occasions when the price quoted hasn't been available with the bookies.

I use oddschecker and was 1 million % 15/8 first thing this morning. I would not try to steal such a small gain from 7/4 to 15/8. Bet365 was 15/8 this morning when I posted.
