  1. Looks like you can do well on the jumps.

First time I have looked at AW this season and the results have been fantastic, 77% return. I have made a loss with my traditional betting on the jumps but this has been offset by the profits on AW. I'm not sure if this is beginners luck or whether it is genuinely easier to make money on the AW.

  2. There is a tipsters competition for Cheltenham where each member picks a selection for each race so this will provide the selections you require.

If we all placed the bet then would this be counter productive because as it is a pool bet the individual returns would be lower the more members that place the bet. This is one bet where it is definitely better to go against the crowd.

    My Huntingdon selections.

    2.00 PASLOVSKY

    3.05 COQUELICOT

    3.35 ONEMOREFORTHEROAD

    4.40 GALACTIC POWER

  3. I am using the same rules as for the Naps competition.

It doesn't seem to make sense (to me at least) that in effect every bet is treated as if it was a free bet.

This will encourage more people to choose longer odds shots as there is no downside to having a loser.

I will go back to the original rules if that is what people prefer but it does seem a tad artificial and does not reflect the real world in which we operate.

We did run the Xmas competition with the new rules and that didn't seem to cause any problems.
