How many time are you going to allow odds on shots on a naps table?

It has become a joke, guys putting up 1/3 shots to win a lousy 20 quid. month after month

How mush skill does it take to find the shortest price fav of the day and post it?

That's not tipping it's taking the xxxx A simple solution to stop it..no odds on shots at time of selection.

also I notice guys not posting because they can't lose unless they do and their selections get beat.

What if we all had the attitude?....."I can't win so I am not posting"

I think we've had this debate before

You could also argue that long shots shouldn't be allowed because the occasional winner could win you the monthly naps competition

A lot of people find the most winners comp very interesting, you obviously don't

They just said the quiet bit out loud there didn't they? "spent the whole year getting his handicap mark down for this" Langer Dan. so does that mean the horse hasn't been running on its merits because that's how i read it. and that's what the handicaps are, manipulations.

Is that not part of the game / puzzle ?

  6. CHAMPION BUMPER

Good winning form is very important. Those horse that had 2 or more wins in their last 6 runs have 8 wins from 59 runs with a profit of 7 points. The rest have 2 wins from 143 runs with a loss of 103 points.

Horses that last ran at Leopardstown or Fairyhouse have 7 wins from 44 runs with a profit of 25 points.

Favourites / second favourites have 6 wins from 22 runs with a profit of 7 points.

This leaves the current favourite JALON DOUDAIRIES at 7/2 (4 places).

  7. JOHNNY HENDERSON GRAND ANNUAL CHASE

This is a race for the outsiders. Those with forecast odds of 20/1 or above have a record of 6 wins from 98 runs with a profit of 213 points. The remainder have 4 wins from 106 runs with a loss of 56 points.

A good rest is useful. Horses that last ran more than 50 days ago have 7 wins 85 runs with a profit of 199 points.

This leaves just 1 horse, TRIPLE TRADE, available at 33/1 (5 places).

  8. CORAL CUP

Horses that are carrying a similar weight to last time have a good record. Those that are carrying a weight within 2 pounds of its last run have a record of 6 wins from 57 runners with a profit of 119 points. The remainder have 4 wins from 198 runs with a loss of 124 points.

They should also be running within 1 length of their last race. These horses have a record of 7 wins from 94 runs with a profit of 72 points.

This leaves LUCKY PLACE at 25/1 and DA CAPO GLORY at 33/1.

7 to 9 years old have the best record with 8 wins from 129 races and a profit of 93 points.

This leaves DA CAPO GLORY at 33/1 with UNIBET (5 places)
