FLUFFY

I'm liking the huge odds of two runners today. 28-1 for Moore's runner in the amateur race at Salisbury in the 5.15 TOP DIKTAT and 33-1 for Holmes's runner SIR DOMINO in the 8.05 at Hamilton.
Would have needed that last run after almost a year off. Has won off 84, last win was off 72 and today goes off 64 with the lady taking another 5lb off. Won't want thr ground to dry up too much and it looks like quite a nice day, but as long as it doesn't go too firm it'll be fine.
Trip might be on the short side too but they often go quite quick in these amateur races, which will suit, and might just set it up for a finisher like TOP DIKTAT.
Few ifs and buts, but there are always are, especially in amateur races.
 
Sir Domino hasn't shown much yet for this yard but off this mark, surely his turn can't be far away.
Has won off 70 and has several placed efforts off marks in the 70s and today goes off 55. Jack Garrity booked, who has ridden many winners for this yard and with the first-time visor being applied to sharpen him up over this 5f and he will be staying on up that hill when others start to weaken.
Interesting each-way singles and a little each-way double, which would pay big.

Sovereign Bounty 3.15 Thirsk currently 8-1 is available. 
 

Think 12- 1 even after three non-runners is great value for Massaat in the 3.35 at Newbury. 
Has form that is head and shoulders above all of these and if Owen Burrows has him even close to spot on - which he is very good at doing - then the rest will be racing for places.
Seemed to disappoint when last seen but that good-firm ground that day at Salisbury was actually quite fast and the ground today will be ideal. 

Like the looks of both Man Utd and Tottenham today.
Chelsea slipping up already gives both teams an extra boost if they can start with a win. Jose made some good summer catches and I think they'll outclass West Ham today, who although they have made some new signings too, they're missing a few key players, which is never good playing United at home.
Tottenham got thrashed by Newcastle at the end of the season but I'm not bothered about that too much. New season and Tottenham were pretty brilliant for most of last season and will get revenge today.
2-1 the double 

At $3m, Mendelssohn 13-8, who has the usual mass of fancy entries, will have probably progressed heaps from his introductory run and surely must be winning a maiden before going on to bigger and better things.
