  1. Two for me today and a nice little each-way double too. Neshmeya 4.40 Nottingham 11-4 Scotsdale 7.05 Catterick 5-2 Neshmeya has some pretty good maiden form and a couple behind her last time have come out and won since. Scotsdale has been winning bumpers quite easily and definitely has the speed to take this maiden.
  2. Good start with the double up last week on Man Utd and Tottenham. Trying something a little more ambitious this weekend with a seven-match accumulator. Oldham v WIGAN PORTSMOUTH v Walsall SHEFF UTD v Barnsley HIBERNIAN v Hamilton Swansea v MAN UTD Burton v BIRMINGHAM LIVERPOOL v Crystal Palace Combined odds of 45-1 at BV
  3. Trying another big priced one today with 40-1 for Rouge Nuage in the 6.30 at Yarmouth. Regular winner at Wolverhampton but has winning form here at Yarmouth too. Last won off 80 and now dropped down to 74 with a claimer taking another 7lb off. Lightly raced over the last couple of years but his 2nd over this trip at Newmarket in a class 4 race and his Doncaster run, not beaten very in a class 3 race were both decent efforts. Probably needed those runs this year and off this mark with that claim, with the track, ground and trip holding no problems, he could go well at huge odds of 40-1.
  4. Sorry - in my excitement I forgot to name her, ha ha. Thank you.
  5. 100-1 shot for me tomorrow over in Ireland. Seems a bit ridiculous but these do pop up every now and then. Form figures of F6/F4-F don't exactly inspire but that's the reason she's 100-1. Doesn't seem to have the hang of jumping fences yet, with three falls from 5 tries. A closer look at some of those races however, might just offer a glimmer or two of hope. First couple of runs were on heavy going and wasn't really put in 2nd time out with much chance from the off. Third race at Borris House showed much more: she tracked the leaders and 2 out she actually joined the leader, going well enough, when she tipped up. One will never tell if that might have registered a win but she ran very well that day on much better going - like tomorrow's. Fourth race also showed some promise on better ground again, weakening late on and was beaten about 14 lengths. She then had the same jockey aboard for her fifth race when she started at only 7-2 2nd favourite, to a Michael Hourigan trained runner, before again tipping up at the 5th. Been given ten weeks off and now makes her debut over hurdles over a trip that will definitely suit and decent-enough ground. One huge positive is that her trainer, Norman Lee, certainly knows what it takes to have winners here at Ballinrobe and Andrew Lynch has ridden winner for these connections. As already said, she's the price she is for good reasons, but I definitely think she's capable of running much better than her odds suggest. I've had a little try each-way at those huge odds.
  6. Like the looks of both Man Utd and Tottenham today. Chelsea slipping up already gives both teams an extra boost if they can start with a win. Jose made some good summer catches and I think they'll outclass West Ham today, who although they have made some new signings too, they're missing a few key players, which is never good playing United at home. Tottenham got thrashed by Newcastle at the end of the season but I'm not bothered about that too much. New season and Tottenham were pretty brilliant for most of last season and will get revenge today. 2-1 the double
  7. At $3m, Mendelssohn 13-8, who has the usual mass of fancy entries, will have probably progressed heaps from his introductory run and surely must be winning a maiden before going on to bigger and better things. 2.30 Curragh
  8. Hello everyone. I'm new here and currently enjoying the summer holidays away from school. My partner works as a trader for one of the big bookies so I occasionally try a little bet. I will put up a few and see how we get on. 4.15 Newmarket 13-2 Gulliver 5.10 Lingfield 9-4 Golden Wolf Have a lovely day everybody.
