ooh, Price got abit lucky last night. None of the top dogs have really come out flying yet. Another full day of darts today, which is comforting in this awful bloody weather. Darren Webster gets the matches underway against Yuki Yamada. Webster in his last 5 years here has an average of 91.14 and that is including his 85 last year in a round 1 exit to Van Der Voort. In general, he gets 90s scores. He faces Yamada who managed 85 in beating a very awful Meikle.
Next up I'm taking Clayton to beat Dekker (-1.5) Dekker managed just an 84 average when falling over the line against Joyce. The 16th seed Clayton should be able to win this one no worse off than 3-1. Into the evening and I'll take my outright tip Asp to beat Baggish 3-0. Baggish managed just 84.94 against Boulton and you'd expect Aspinall to want to impress tonight.
I'll take Hopp to beat Van Der Pas next. Van Der Pas still doesn't look right and should not be here really. How he managed to win that match against Clemens I don't know. I think Hopp beats him tonight.
6.5pts D.Webster (-1.5 sets) to beat Y.Yamada 8/13 betfred
4pts J.Clayton (-1.5 sets) to beat J.Dekker evens blacktype
4pts N.Aspinall to beat D.Baggish 3-0 11/8 betfair
1pt accy - Webster (-1.5 sets) Clayton (-1.5) King, Evans 7/1 blacktype
0.5pt accy - all of the above + Hopp and Kurz 32/1 blacktype

Ahh, Lennon 2 darts to win 3-2 and loses 3-2. 2 darts away from the 14/1 accy. Nevertheless a win for O'Connor. He played pants though! I was toying with over 4.5 sets but i went with Lennon 3-2 because I thought the experience would do him. I'm going to have a look at tomorrows card in the morning I think.

On the road at the moment but I’m tempted by Jose Justicia if his price was a little nicer. Monk isn’t the best player in the world. The one I will be going for though is Brendan Dolan to win 3-0. Not a lot of time to explain my full reasoning but Kumar is quite inexperienced and last year only won 2 legs in his 3-0 loss in round 1.
5.5pts B.Dolan to best Kumar 3-0 8/11 betfair

Just one for me tomorrow. Labanauskas to beat Matthew Edgar. These two actually met eachother last year in this event, in the 1st round. Lab won that match 3-1 and with a 10pt extra average. He is far more experienced and experience counts for alot up there for this kind of event. Each night is deafening.
6.5pts D.Labanauskas to beat M.Edgar 8/13 bet365

bets = 1/1 / bank = +3.5pts

Yeah for sure. Especially when it's a "first to 4" The only bet I like today is Un-Nooh to beat Lisowski.

I've asked this in the past, but it wasn't something the forum liked the idea of.
*edit - however, i'm happy to add profit/loss on my own tips. I can start doing that from the Worlds. Remember though, you don't have a gun against your head with peoples tips. People love you then hate you in the same day with tips. You'll give them multiple 16/1 winners and then you get a couple of even shots lose and you're useless. It's a fickle world.

2nd time in the last month or two 150/1 comes into place. Norlander had a good tournament and hit alot of fairways for a T5 spot. I took him again after R1 at 200/1 and got 50/1 for the placing

Just a quick precise of a bit of advice that came my way earlier from a friend. He said that Fearless Warrior has looked much more relaxed in the past couple of bits of work and the stable is hopeful that he has learned since his wind op that there is no difficulty going beyond where he used to struggle e.g now finishing off work better than previous.
They think if he translates this work to the race he will go very close and can beat the favourite, hope this will be useful.

Thursday Night Football - Week #10
LEAN: Los Angeles Chargers pick’em at Oakland Raiders
Wow, what a critical game this is for both teams! The loser will suffer a significant blow to its playoff hopes.
Can you feel the Chargers train picking up speed? That big win over the Packers last weekend may become their season turning point. Last year the Chargers started the season 1-2 before winning 11 of their last 13 games. In 2017, they got off to a disappointing 3-6 record before going 6-1 during the last stretch of the season. Can they do it again this year?
The largest margin of defeat by Los Angeles this year has been just 7 points! Meanwhile, the Raiders lost games by 20-, 18- and 18-point margins.
After holding out the first four games of the season, Melvin Gordon seems to be back to game speed. He had his best game of 2019 with 20 rushes for 80 yards and a couple of TDs versus the Packers.
Both teams have a solid and well-balanced attack. On the Chargers side, you’ve got Rivers, Gordon, Ekeler, Keenan Allen, Mike Williams and underrated tight end Hunter Henry. On the Raiders side, you’ve got Derek Carr under center with rookie sensation Josh Jacobs running the ball, along with Tyrell Williams and the surprising Darren Waller catching balls.
The big difference to me lies on the defensive side of the ball. Oakland lacks playmakers; they don’t have guys that can really put some pressure on opposing quarterbacks like Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram can. These guys pressured Aaron Rodgers all game long last Sunday, despite very few blitzes. One of the few bright spots for the Raiders on defense, Arden Key, broke his foot and will miss the remainder of the season.
Firing their offensive coordinator and replacing him with a new guy did wonders to the Chargers’ offense. They moved the ball very well against Green Bay. The players seemed to enjoy his playcalling. None of their 9 possessions ended with a three-and-out, and Los Angeles had to punt just once!
Josh Jacobs’ shoulder seems to be bothering him. He played last week, but he is still listed on the injury list. He might feel sore on such a short week.
It should be an entertaining game, but in the end I expect the Chargers to come out on top.
Enjoy the game folks!
Professor MJ
