    Walsall v Chesterfield
Walsall have lost twice in their last 9 matches and have won their last 5  home games, the forward duo of Morris and Oztumer are both fit. Chesterfield have not won under their new manager, and have won once since boxing day (against coventry), they have drawn the last 2 away matches but got a 4-0 thumping from Oxford at the weekend, their away form is W1 D4 L 12. Walsall will be up for it with the home crowd behind them and want to bounce back from their defeat at wimbledon, Walsall manager also says that they must not be complacent stating- “These are the games where we have to be on the mettle. We have to match their energy, passion and commitment. Then we can play our football.”  Chesterfield are poor and lost decent players in January, cant see them turning the corner against walsall.

    Stevenage v Leyton Orient
Stevenage have hit a run of form since the end of January winning 5 and drawing 1 (Exeter away) and have scored 10 conceded 2 in their last 5 home wins. Manager Sarll has a fully fit squad and are just 2 points away from the play-offs. Leyton Orient despite a mini revival when beatin plymouth and drawing against Yeovil, have since reverted to their shit ways by losing their next 2 games (both at home) to Notts County and cheltenham - both similarly struggling teams. Orient are relying on youngsters but are also hit by injuries (see preview). They do however tend to score goals away from home, only failing to score in 4 away matches. According to footystats.org 75% of stevenages home games had both teams scoring, and 67% of Orients away games had both scoring.

Agree with the Aldershot and Solihull picks, I might consider Sutton @ 2.05. Sutton must be buoyed by their away win at Torquay and are impressive at home, and Boreham Wood have 1 win in last 12 league games. Sutton will be focused on getting away from the relegation zone whilst Boreham Wood are comfortably mid-table. Might look into Nuneaton after our impressive (unexpected) win against Boston.

We'll be making plenty of changes again at the weekend, but even with 6-7 changes in the Trophy so far we've looked good. I wouldn't tell you not to back us, but I wouldn't be taking it personally. We certainly won't be going there to draw with the horrendous amount of games we've now got to play in the next 2 months!

Nice one @sammydubs youve done some of the write up for me already! Was also going to go for Burgess hill and Barrow (Torquay are going to have a very long round trip as well!). My other ones are:
    Bromley v Solihull
Bromley are on form at the  minute, winning 6 and losing 2 of their last 8 home games. the losses against Forest Green and Dover, Solihull are W2 D2 L3 in the lat 8 away, including a defeat to lowly Woking on Tuesday.

    Dartford v Chelmsford
Six wins in a row have propelled Dartford up the table, they have lost 1 and won 7 of their last 8 (and all but 2 of those games have had 4 or more goals), and lost once at home all season, at the minute theyre scoring goals for fun. Chelmsford City have playoff aspirations of their own and were in with a shout of the title race up until mid October. The Essex club went seven games without a win, drawing six of them. The Clarets have since got back to winning ways, with defeat at Ebbsfleet United an exception, yet on the weekend they shared the points with St Albans City to drop two in a frustrating afternoon. Stringer noted his attack wasn’t clinical enough, a problem he’s noticed with frequency this campaign. They have won once in the last 6 away matches. They have won 4 league matches since october 22nd (W4 D7 L7), but these 4 wins were against teams in the bottom 4 (whitehawk, truro and Bishops stortford x2)

    Southend v Northampton
Both teams meet during a run of form. Southend have lost twice since october, and only one of those at home (v sheff utd). Since september their home record is - W8 D4 L1, scoring 26, conceding 13 ( 4 of those v sheff utd) an average of 2 goals scored per game, a run that has put them within a point of the play-offs. Manager Phil Brown has no injury concerns and has plenty of competition for places, especially strikers, stating -
"It’s a lovely position to be in as a manager when you’ve got the firepower and a strike force that six or seven on any given day can, not just get one, but get hat-tricks. They can get goals.
Northampton have won 3 of the last 4 matches, (which i think is why the bookies have them too short), however, they were all at home against Swindon, Chesterfield and Coventry - the bottom 3 teams in the division!  Before these 4 games their form since Oct 12 is W1 D0 L10, and they lost 5 in a row before the win over Coventry. They are a shaky side and have a couple of good players returning from injuries, but Southend have too much firepower, and if they (Southend) score first, they may go on to score a hatful.

    Few thoughts for this weekend....
My team Merstham welcome Harlow with a bad away record this season. Merstham haven't been the most consistent and the team has been rotated a lot, however I've said before that they are a good quick team who score goals, especially at home in the league.
A lot of league places cover Merstham and Harlow but Merstham have 5 more games to play. Their league position is misleading and on the back of 2 strong league away wins and a good home record vs a bad away record I think 2.25 is a good price for Merstham
    Merstham win @ 2.25 Bet365
Next tip is for Barrow to put away a poor Torquay side. Having watched Torquay many times when they are a league team it pains me to see them struggle so much now. Their squad is weak and this is reflected in their continued season after season battle to avoid relegation. Now having said that they have a habit of actually performing quite well against the better teams this season, however I struggle to see them coming away with a result from a Barrow side who are full of confidence. They did play mid week (Beat Macclesfield who drew with Torquay last weekend) but reading their fans forum they seem in a very buoyant mood to put away a Torquay team who will be battling relegation come end of season
    Barrow win @ 1.60 Bet365
Burgess Hill have a good home record vs Met Police with a bad away record. Just 2 places between them in the table but Met Police have played 4 more games. I have seen Burgess Hill play this season they look solid and well organised team and know what they are looking to achieve. Unbeaten in 5 and although they had a disappointing draw last week I still fancy them to beat Met Police. I would price them at about 1.70-1.90 so no massive value but still a good one to add to your doubles or trebles.
    Burgess Hill to win @ 1.75 Bet365
Leatherhead are struggling, they haven't won all year!! Jimmy looks like he has lost the dressing room and some of the individual displays have been awful. They aren't playing as a team. I saw them last year at Merstham, they looking very average. Merstham played awful and it finished 1-1. I don't know much about Lowestoft other than their home record is just about Ok, however I am happy to take on Leatherhead away from home on better than even money.
    Lowestoft win @ 2.10 Bet365
    Good luck!

    Guiseley v Sutton
I think it is fairly obvious who I am tipping up here. Again I just don’t understand the prices and how bookies can make Sutton favourites. The reasons for taking them on are obviously the same on Saturday and the fact they lost 3-0 adds to the reasons. Going all the way up to Leeds on a Tuesday evening is probably the last thing they want at the moment and I am sure they just want Monday night to come. Guiseley might be in the relegation zone, but their home has been superb in recent months. Ever since they got their first win of the season when beating York 6-1 they have not been beaten at home in the league, that’s a run of 9 games which features just 3 draws. They only just kept that run going on Saturday as they equalised with the last kick of the game against Eastleigh. They played well again though and they are clearly relying on their home form to keep them up. If you can get on with Skybet then they are biggest at 7/4, but even at lesser odds they still rate fantastic value and I make them a max bet.

    Ilkeston v Coalville
The fact Ilkeston didn’t play on Saturday and Coalville did (a 0-0 draw with Stafford) is a slight concern, but otherwise they look a solid bet at 5/6. I don’t really need to repeat myself about Ilkeston. Coalville might only be 17th in the league, but their away form has been good on the whole. Granted they have lost their last two, but Spennymoor and Stourbridge are two of the best sides in the division. Prior to that they had won 4 on the bounce on their travels and they should be more than capable of getting back to winning ways here. The 5/6 about an away seems a fair.

But a team in their position aren't going to be consistent. They were always going to be in a relegation battle this season so you would expect them to lose more than they win.

Aldershot last 8 games - W5 D2 L 1, since december theyve won 3 and drawn1, scoring 8 and conceding just 1. Barrow are the opposite, with only 1 win since november (although against Lincoln),Last 8 - W1 D3 L4, according to their forums theyre poor at set peices, good at the back, and have a 'direct' style of play (hoof the ball to the tall striker!), Barrow have a lot of injuries and rely a lot on loanees, also one of their main strikers (Harrison) is injured.

    York v Maidstone
Saw York at Nuneaton at the weekend and they were all over us, excellent passing team, not one that id expect to be in bottom position. They also seemed to have turned the corner and the 3-0 win over us will give them a definite boost, the club are calling this game 'the biggest of the season' as a win would but them above maidstone on goal difference. Their last 8 reads - W2 D4 L2, and they have lost once since the 3rd Jan. Maidstones form - W1 D1 L6, they have only 2 clean sheets all season, the last in October, and have the second worst goal difference and goals conceded record in the division. Looking at the forums, the club arent taking this one as seriously as York, and seem to think they are 'too good to go down'.

Since early Jan Chesham are W1 D1 L2 (the win was against lowly St Neots). Merthyr on the other hand are unbeaten since early December, since then they are W8 D2, and in all home matches - W11 D5 L0. Yeovil v Leyton Orient
Yeovils last 11 home matches W6 D3 L2 (losses to doncaster and barnet), and have the 6th best home record in the division, their lowly league position is due to their poor away record. Their last home win was against 2nd placed Plymouth. Im going to repeat what i said the other week about Orient -
Leyton Orient are currently on an extremely poor run of form which has seen them pick up just four points from their last six games. Since the turn of the year, they have lost three games in a row; 4-0 away to Exeter, 3-1 at home to Barnet and 2-1 away to Portsmouth. (*Thats now 6 in a row!) - Fans think the club are moments away from administration, let alone relegation, and players are leaving as quicvkly as they can.The Orient chairman has put half the players on the transfer list, 4 have already gone, and the fans are well p**sed off. A quote from their fans forum which just about sums it up ( http://leytonorientforum.co.uk/topic19851.html )
"Simply can't see anything other than another defeat here. To be honest, I'm so disillusioned with everything to do with the club that I can't actually see us being able to beat anybody."

    Mansfield v Hartlepool

Boss Steve Evans has no new injury worries ahead of the contest, with just defenders Kyle Howkins and George Taft unavailable with their respective knee and hamstring issues. Stags are currently on a seven-match unbeaten run in Sky Bet League Two which dates back to the New Year's Eve draw with Doncaster Rovers at One Call Stadium. Since the draw with the league-leaders, Stags have drawn one and won five of the following six matches, conceding just one goal in that time. Last time out, goals from midfielder Ben Whiteman and striker Shaq Coulthirst earned a 2-0 victory over Barnet at the Hive Stadium.
Hartlepool have enjoyed a slight upturn in form since manager Dave Jones took the reins last month. The former Sheffield Wednesday boss watched Pools' victory over Stevenage from the stands before taking charge of the 3-1 defeat against Newport County and the 1-1 stalemate with Yeovil Town last week. Pools last 8 matches - W2 D2 L4, in last 8 away matches they  are W0 D2 L6.
Think Mansfields run will continue here, Pool are poor travellers, but often manage to score.

    Grantham v Stourbridge
Both teams on an amazing run of form. Stourbridge having lost once in the last 15 league matches (a 4-1 defeat away to Sutton Coldfield at end of Jan), Grantham are unbeaten in the last 15, seeing them rise to 6th in the table, 4 points behind second placed Stourbridge. Blyth are running away with the league on 65 points (10 ahead of stourbridge).
The bookies make Stourbridge slight favourites, however, Stourbridge have lost 2 of the last 4; after the sutton Coldfield loss (their last away match), they played in the league cup and lost 4-1 at home... to Grantham! I think Grantham must have the upper hand in this one, knowing they beat Stourbridge 3 weeks ago, racing to get into the play-offs, while stourbridge cant catch Blyth but are safely in the play-offs.

Both teams pushing for the play-off and are separated by just one point. Theres a massive difference is in form though.

    Merthyr v Chesham
The Merthyr bandwagon shows no sign of stopping! Merthyr have been good to me in recent weeks and i think that will continue against Chesham, who now look out out of the title race. Since early Jan Chesham are W1 D1 L2 (the win was against lowly St Neots). Merthyr on the other hand are unbeaten since early December, since then they are W8 D2, and in all home matches - W11 D5 L0. Merthyr also won the reverse fixture 1-0, and must be eyeing the top spot.

Orient are abasket case of a club, cant see their youngsters getting anything here.

    Solihull v Sutton

I was kicking myself for not backing Boreham Wood to beat Sutton in the FA Trophy replay on Tuesday night. Given Sutton’s away form and the fact they ended up with just 9 men on the pitch in the first game it really was an obvious bet, but for some reason I left it alone. They ended up getting stuffed and it is hard to understand why they aren’t favourites for this let alone priced up at 19/10 (various). Granted Sutton have two games in hand, but Solihull are actually 1 point above their visitors in the table. They have gone through some changes in the squad and I did think they might begin to suffer as a consequence, but that hasn’t really happened and they have been performing well. Sutton’s players will be thinking about Arsenal already and given there away form is so bad, Solihull rate a pretty strong bet at the prices.

    Southport v Dagenham & Redbridge

Southport’s chairman can’t resist a manager change and to me it was pretty harsh to get rid of Steve Burr. Andy Preece got the job in the week and he has a very tough game to get his tenure underway. Southport’s issues are defensive at the moment and it will be a tough ask for Preece to get them sorted at the first time of asking. They didn’t play too badly against Gateshead last week, but they still lost 3-0. Dagenham meanwhile have been scoring goals for fun of late and will take plenty of confidence from the injury time winner they scored against Chester last week. They really have turned a corner over the past month and they look title contenders again. I am surprised they aren’t odds on and William Hill’s 11/10 is worth taking.

All the troubled clubs who I have been opposing are playing teams who are very short this week so I have come up with a four-fold which pays 4.6/1 with Marathon. Dartford continued their good form when beating Whitehawk easily last Saturday and they should overcome Gosport. Speaking of Whitehawk they did eventually stop the rot with a point against Eastbourne on Tuesday, but they now face a flying Ebbsfleet and they shouldn’t have too many issues in beating them. In the Ryman Premier Merstham did finally win away from home last time, but going to an Enfield Town side who are hoping to get in the play-offs will be a much tougher task. In the Evo-Stik Northern Premier high flying Nantwich should have too much for Sutton Coldfield.
