  1. Tuesday was a mini bump back to earth after the high of Saturday, but an injury time goal against us was always going to happen at some point. More on that in the previews. With Step 3 entering the FA Trophy the focus is on the 3 National League's and I have 5 bets. Hartlepool v Torquay The live BT Sport game sees 1st v 4th and Hartlepool are yet to lose so far this season so an interesting game on paper. At the risk of upsetting Hartlepool fans again (for some reason they got upset with me saying Notts County are the biggest team in Non-League last week), I am not sure Hartlepool ar

  2. Was having a discussion last night with a mate of mine and he asked me how good RP top rated were and would they be a profitable betting medium backing the top rated only?. As Ive never used them I wouldn't know but I would imagine like most Top rated / betting Favs a SR of around 30-35% should be achievable, whether a profit can be gleaned from this is a different story, any man and his dog can hit 30+% by backing favs or Top rated blindly but its a way to the poor house. Ive priced up the Top Rated horses from the races with full RP ratings pre off and noted the price available , so thoug

  3. Results Though a small sample it seems RPR's is a reasonable medium @ pointing you in the direction of winners though the ROI is something to be desired backing blindly. Restricting bets to the ones that have an expected Edge return a better ROI on both Non BOG & BOG early prices in both cases SP is a non starter, which reinforces the idea of making your own tissue . My own database doesn't have RPR saved so I cant back test a large enough amount of data to say whether the above is the norm or just noise, but if you dont make your own ratings it could be worthwhile investigatin

  4. 15.45 Lingfield This can go the way of Sir Michael Stoute's SORREL (Nap) who is difficult to oppose here. This impressive Dansili filly is improving with each start and left a lasting impression with an eye catching victory at Doncaster last month, doing her best work close to home. She has progressed with each start to date, landing back-to-back handicaps at up to 1m4f in a Class 4 and a Class 2 in recent months and is now on for the three-timer. More to come now up in trip and is the type to go on improving for her legendary trainer and so she gets the vote now up in class.

  5. What a close run finish we've had this month. Any one of the top 6 in tonight's leg could have made it on to the podium and in the end just over 50 points separated the top 5 in the league. The power of the final leg points muliplier came into play with a win tonight for thebestthere lifting them into the podium positions in 3rd . Ian309 completed a solid month of finishes to take the runner up league position and muttley's excellent month of top finishes continued and makes him our league champion Great turnout all month, thank you to everyone who came along and played.

  6. All odds Bet365: 1.15 Lingfield - 1[t e/w Dubai Tigress @ 14/1 Looks a live each-way player to me having run okay on debut at Kempton over 6f. That race was full of horses with experience including a couple rated around the 80 mark and wasn't beaten far by them. William Knight wouldn't have many first time out winners and this horse's pedigree contains quite a bit of stamina so 6f was always likely to catch it out on debut. Up to 7f today with that experience under its bet, can expect more now. 2.06 Stratford - 1pt e/w Generous Day @ 14/1 Form dipped a bit at the end of

  8. Lorenzo Sonego to beat Hubert Hurkacz at 3.10 with Pinnacle Hurkacz might be the better hard court player of the two, but why Sonego is above 3.00 is beyond me. He's a decent player on all courts and he played well against Lajovic, so I reckon he has a hot against Hurkacz as well. The big man from Poland played well below his standards against Balazs, his serve wasn't piercing at all and he had a surprising number of double faults. Not sure what's happening, he didn't look injured, but I don't think he should be priced as such a huge favorite for tommorow.

This gets underway today. It's live on ITV4. I haven't had the most time in the world to have a look through this. I'm still rather annoying that Ross Smith lost to Cullen at 150/1 and Cullen won the event. Cullen of whom I've backed so many times and was thinking of at 50/1 but ofcourse didn't back. Ross Smith has managed to qualify for this event again and is in the favoured bottom half of the draw. I'm going to take just one from the top half and that will be Devon Petersen. I think he will be up for this and if his scoring is there, he is somebody who can beat anybody as shown over th

  10. 1.55 Wetherby. Say The Word (9/1 bet 365). Looked very game when runner up at Huntingdon on heavy ground last season. Off the same mark tomorrow and a slight increase in trip + the uphill finish at Wetherby should suit (and won't mind any more rain). Was weak in the market and didn't show much on reappearance but does look a bit of a barrel so probably just needed the run. Never traveling or looking like getting involved 🤢

  12. Benfica - Liege (20.00h portuguese time ) The normal thing for this match will be for Benfica to win and the existence of some goals. Looking at the squads of both teams, it is possible to notice that Jorge Jesus' pupils have an advantage compared to the opponent. On the other hand, Standard Liège, in spite of the absences, should try to add at least one point and for this reason they should risk a lot on the counterattack. Having said that and taking into account these factors, risking in favor of the ‘’ Vitória do Benfica and 2.5 more goals ’’ market in this game is a good option

  18. We should have had a nice day on the place backs but Perfect Moment let us down at 4.48; despite trading into 2.5 to win from 20.86 BSP it failed to place. That gave us a small loss on the places. Place Bank +€1,032 Takeonefortheteam won at 8.01 which was nice Win Bank +€5,397

  19. Bourdeaux 10.55 Cafe Saigon 7/1 ew Bet365 A relatively low grade 6f+ stakes race with the market made by the Godolphin underachiever Stormy Mountain. However with its dam sire being Exceed and Excel, which tend to perform much better on Tapeta or GF turf I'm happy to take it on with regards to the heavy going reported today. Likewise the 2Fav Queen Kalhua whose current ability level seems to be on a downward slope since a 4th place to Earthlight in a listed sprint at Deauville in the summer, with its recent run being a disappointing 10/14 place in a relatively weak 13k r

  22. Well to be honest im a bit foolish if i had backed my last 6 top rated i would have won five of them but short prices, the nap "shall we go now" today was schooling in public which was a bit annoying (watch the race see if u agree) but for this competition i would rather stand or fall on a decent size SP its more fun and more profitable over all, I back all my naps and have them in lucky 15's and do quite well mixing the prices, your right about the KO cup i will have to behave.
