  1. January was very up and down to say the least, but it was good to end it with a winner on Tuesday night especially as it got one over the Asian markets which is always pleasing especially after the last couple of bets I had opposed them on had been losers. No doubt the weather is going to get in the way this weekend so I won't go into too much detail as I doubt all these will go ahead, but there are 7 teams I like. Dover v Gateshead Gateshead lost their leading striker to Chesterfield this week and they weren't happy as they are currently under a transfer embargo so they can't sign a replacement. They haven't won in 6 league games now and they travel to a Dover side who have lost just once in their last 10. Hopefully this game has a better chance than most of beating the weather given the location and Marathon's 6/4 looks a decent price on a home win. Maidenhead v Dagenham & Redbridge It is a bit of a love hate relationship with Dagenham at the moment as they cost us last week when conceding against a goal shy Aldershot. Even so they look overpriced at 9/5 with Bet365 to beat a Maidenhead who are going to struggle to stay up. Granted they were a bit unlucky to not get a point against Solihull in their last home game, but they then went to a Wrexham side on a poor run of form and managed just 1 shot in the whole game. Granted they will probably be a bit more attacking minded here, but the away side are value to pick up the 3 points. Bradford Park Avenue v Leamington The only game BPA have not lost in their last 5 was when I tipped Blyth against them at a big price and Blyth missed an injury time penalty to win the game. Although the board claimed they do want promotion their actions spoke louder than words as they have let 3 of their best players leave and it seems they know they can't really sustain a club at National League level. They obviously wouldn't turn promotion down should they win it, but they would obviously prefer it if they stayed at this level. Granted Leamington were winning their first game in 10 on Saturday when they beat Altrincham 3-0, but that was a hell of a performance and they have drawn 6 of their last 10 games so it isn't like they are losing all the time. 11/4 with Bet365 on the away win looks more than fair. Brightlingsea Regent v Whitehawk (Bostik Premier) Backing Whitehawk didn't quite pay off last week as they had to come from 2 down, but they conceded after 3 minutes and that obviously always changes things when a team scores that earlier. The fact they fought back proves they are improving and although Brightlingsea have been on a strong run of form I think the away side are worth a small bet at a big price. Bishops Stortford v Merstham (Bostik Premier) The away side are now unbeaten in 10 league games after beating Worthing on Wednesday night. It isn't as if they have had an easy run of fixtures either as they have played plenty of the teams around them at the top of the table including the top 2 teams. The home team have lost 6 of their last 8 and the two wins were against teams in the bottom 4. 6/4 looks a big price on an away win. Hartley Wintney v Wimborne Town (Evo-Stik Southern Prem South) The away side are on an impressive run of form losing just once in their last 9 league games including drawing with top of the table Taunton last Saturday and beating 3rd place Met Police 3-0 on Tuesday night. The home side have won just once in their last 7 games and an away win is attractively priced. Harrogate v Stockport (FA Trophy) This game is almost certain to go ahead as Harrogate play on a 3G pitch and I fancy there could be an upset. Both are going well in their respective leagues, but I think Stockport are more than capable of winning this. I don't think there is as much between these two sides as the prices suggest and at nearly 4/1 Stockport are a value play. 3. Well I am still missing out on the payouts I'm after whether I post here or don't post here.. I am changing the rules for what I'm doing now, and I am not going to submit any plays here unless I am very confident with their success.. Before I was executing a value based strategy, and it was not as successful as I was hoping. Part of the problem was there was very few underdogs that actually won this past Australian open.. However, alot of the bets I was making were in accordance to how often these numbers are profitable at big odds, and not actually who I thought I was going to win the match.. 38-81 +15.31 units(Includes all recent losing Australian open plays, including one winning parlay with doubles, and the two losses I took from December with Wawrinka and Coric Future prediction to win Aussie title) But overall I have lost about 25-30 picks in a row, and winning only about 3-5 in between there. This is not a winning format to post here even if I could have better results on different times.. But, thats enough for confusing and poorly written explanation.. Sorry to anybody who took losses on those tho.. I am increasing the unit size of my plays on here now.. All bets will be staked two units instead of one with the expectation of much higher accuracy predictions 2 units Magda Linette to beat Yastremska @ 4.67 with Pinnacle 2 units Zhe Li to beat Taro Daniel @ 3.06 with Pinnacle I am paying very close attention to matches at Hua Hin, and have won two bets in a row Linette. She is playing very well. Yastremska played amazing vs Muguruza, but the catch here is that Garbine played one of the worst matches I have ever seen from her if not the absolute worst. She also was nervous, and serving very poor.. I have more analysis on the match but I don't want write book here. I caught some of the Davis cup in Guangdong Arena, China. There is not a huge crowd there supoorting China for whatever reason, but Zhe Li was on fire, and I made terrible mistake not paying attention to this match early in live betting because the odds was huge vs Nishioka.. Daniel may be a step up in class for the home team here, but if Li's level does not drop.. I imagine he will continue his fine tennis form, and take the match for China who is cheering him on last match with unbridled enthusiasm.

  6. Cardiff vs Bournemouth The transfer deadline is coming up tonight so a lot could change between now and then but for the time being it's another tough game for Cardiff in the Premier League. The Bluebirds host an in-form Bournemouth in a 3pm kick-off at the Cardiff City Stadium in what is certain to be another emotional day for the club. Cardiff bounced back from two abject performances against relegation rivals with a courageous effort away to Arsenal in midweek. The players appeared to channel the recent Emiliano Sala tragedy in a positive manner to deliver a performance that deserved more than the 2-1 defeat. It's already been confirmed that the club has signed Leandro Bacuna from Reading with rumours linking us to Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen and Southampton forward Charlie Austin. Can either of those players be signed up to help us push up the table from our 18th place position and 4 points adrift of safety? Bournemouth will be buzzing after smashing Chelsea 4-0 in midweek at home. Eddie Howe's men have moved up to 10th in the table after that victory. A win here would potentially push them as high as 7th in the table. Unfortunately, their away form is pretty shambolic with just 3 wins from their 11 away matches so far this season. I'm going to show a bit of optimism after a bit of negativity on my behalf. I actually think we could get something here. Bournemouth's away form isn't great. We can be a really dangerous side at home. A few players looked very good on the weekend and I think our back-line is starting to adjust to life without the injured Sean Morrison. If Neil Warnock can motivate us in the right way then I could see us grabbing a 1-0 or 2-1 win. I think the draw is more likely but as a Cardiff fan that wants the club to pick up a vital three points I'm going to back us to win but will put the draw no bet insurance down because I'm not mad! 7. I´ve got 2 early Bets for the next Weekend here. First is Werder Bremen to Win against Nuernberg. Bremen in first 2 Games after Winter Break with 2 very good Games. Against Hannover deserved the Win and now they Draw at Home against Frankfurt - but to be honest - that was a MUST WIN game. Bremen showed a good Performance with many Chances on his Side. Like the First Game against Hannover - where they have also many Chances. Problem for now is that they need too much Chances for Goals. But now in Nuernberg i expected the same game from Bremen - which they showed against Hannover. Nuernberg for me on the same quality Level from Hannover at the Moment and lost both Games after Winter Break. They have on every Position quality Difference to Bremen and for me the only Chance for Nuernberg is to fight for his Life. But didn´t think that this is realstic to grab something out of this Game. The other Bet for me is AHC+1 on Leverkusen. Bayern Munich not such so dominate in his Games so far this Season. And now they are in a Situation where they MUST WIN every Game... Against Stuttgart - Munich won 4-1 but that´s only on Paper. Stuttgart wasn´t such Bad and now against Leverkusen with his new Coach Bosz it will be a difficult one. Leverkusen with 2 good Performances in Leauge won 1 Game and lost First one against Gladbach - but who saw the Game. Gladbach don´t know why.... IN both Games after Winter Break Leverkusen show some good Offensive Performances with many, many Chances. And now at Home against Munich - everyone are more Motivated. And maybe they can grab something..... Bremen @ 1.95 6/10 bwin Leverkusen AHC+1 @ 2.05 3/10 bet365

  8. To all those of you that doubted my blind faith in Cardiff... let that be a lesson to you! To be fair, I genuinely had a belief we would get the win but was wary because of Arter's absence. The team have really pulled together after this Emiliano Sala tragedy. Bobby Reid is being played more. Kenneth Zohore appears to be getting his edge back. Our defence is now gelling in the absence of Sean Morrison. Neil Warnock is also giving us a more attacking approach to games. I still believe we can stay up! Come on, Cardiff! I'll get a preview for the Manchester City versus Arsenal game up tomorrow morning. Busy celebrating that victory right now!

  11. Crystal Palace - Fulham 2(4.20)bet365 I some sure about Fulham because history says that no Zaha no party!Last time day beat someone 2 years ago against Leicester,it was december 1-0.Next one is weakness in Crystal Palace aerial duels where is Mitrovic one of the best striker in PL in Aerial Duels.I watched Crystal Palace against Southampton after they score a goal they went to their half and waited for a counter attack. That reason why Ranieri want 3 at the back,be honest Ream is a player who isnt PL player,he is for Championship or lower league player but for this counter attack of Crystal Palace is some safety at the back.Next reason why I am sure about win of fulham is amazing comeback against Brighton & Hove Albion, they mentality in second half was superb and how I analyzed Claudio Raineri he can to convey confidence at this match. For Crystal Palace I can say good team in defense, but lack of creation and realization of that little kind of opportunitys got them in that position that they have the fewest victory at home in PL this season. They middle is who is full of destructor who arent player of caliber to create opportunity.I saw that Benteke is back at first 11 but am not sure he is right option for this match,we all know that Fulham defense is not good but cofidence at this moment for Fulham is high at this will be a key

Just to reinforce what Sir Puntalot was saying, this is strictly a one-off in order to help a long-standing, very supportive member of the forum. In future it would appreciated if all added value transfers were made via the stated payment method to cut down on admin work.

  20. From what I can tell the two Bostik Prem matches are still on. Dover has been given the go ahead and although some games on 3g pitches have been called off the Harrogate game is still on. There are 3 games still left on in the National League South and I fancy the 3 home sides. Concord have drawn a lot lately but as I have written before about them their home form is very strong and they ought to be beating a poor and out of form Dulwich side at home. Chelmsford host Hungerford and Hungerford's little good spell of form looks to be over. Truro look more than capable of beating an Eastbourne side who managed to lose to East Thurrock last week. It is a long old journey for them as well and Truro should be looking to make home advantage count. The treble pays just over 5/1 and looks worth a punt with some of the money we have got back from the games that have been called off. Chelmsford, Concord & Truro 1pt treble 5.18/1 with Betway

  22. It will be interesting to see what team Barnet put out but the Trophy is a great chance for them to get to Wembley so I would be surprised if they didn't put a strong team out. I can see why the home side have nibbled in the betting though as can understand why people might want to take a chance.

  23. Leicester v Man United I think an early goal (less than 25 minutes) could open the floodgates here. United were a little sloppy against Burnley and dropped 2 points. Looked like they were not focused against a weaker opponent. To me they look like Liverpool last year. Decent going forward, but missing a top defender that will solidify the back 3 or 4. However, they do not have the the playing pattern structure of a top team. When they bomb forward, they are leaving gaps. Luke Shaw seems to over commit and it leaves huge space in which to be counter attacked. I don't see how they stop Leicester from scoring, and feel that over 2.5 goals is on the cards here.

    Six Nations 2019

Hotshots make up at 50, both tries for North so shame I swerved him at 4/1. Called the game correctly in terms of Wales win by 1 to 12 points though didn't look likely at half time. Didn't back that due to the outright bet on Wales which obviously looks in better shape after the comeback. 1 drop goal on the board and kicking metres made up at 168 which I'd take every game. All in all an enjoyable game that went ok from a betting perspective.

  29. Burnley vs Southampton Draw Last away game of Southampton vs Leicester I placed a bet on draw and was a bit unlucky.. However, I also overlooked the fact that nearly 50% or 7 out of 15 Southampton's draws last season were versus teams from bottom third of the table(bottom 7 including them). Those 7 draws came from 12 games and so far this year Southampton has 3 draws out of 7 games vs the current bottom third. What's more, Southampton & Burnley have highest number of draws(7/13 and 6/13)in a table of the games between 5 out of those current bottom 7 teams(without Cardiff and Fulham) if we count the games from last season. Hope you understand what I mean as for some reason I can not add the screenshot of transfermarkt own table from my phone. Both teams have not lost since start of 2019 and have 2 draws out of 4 games, so I reckon a draw is most likely outcome for this game. I also believe Fulham will not lose and may even win vs Crystal Palace without Zaha. Crystal Palace have won only 1(vs Leicester at home 1:0) out of 12 games in last 2 seasons without Zaha, 1 out of 3 this season and 1 out of 6 since Roy Hodgson. All other games were losses! Fulham are the only team without an away win this season and it is worth noting that last team to fail to win a single away game for whole season was Hull in 2009/10. Fulham have 7 more away games and this seems to me the most winnable matchup especially after the morale boosting comeback the other day.

  31. Eintracht Frankfurt vs Borussia Dortmund Do you know what? Even as I'm writing this I'm thinking "don't fall for it, you mug. The odds are stretched for a reason! You know what'll happen!". I'm foolishly not listening to my gut because these odds are too good to avoid. Champions League qualification chasing Eintracht Frankfurt welcome league leaders Borussia Dortmund to the Commerz-Bank Arena for this 2:30pm kick-off on Saturday afternoon. Eintracht Frankfurt are enjoying a positive season. Adi Hutter's side are 5th in the table and just 3 points off the pace of the top four. Inconsistency has plagued the team this season with the exception of a run of 6 wins and 1 draw between 30th September and 24th November. That run has essentially kept their decent season alive. Without the 19 points accumulated during that run the club would be sitting in the bottom three. An unrealistic comparison but it shows how key that run has been for their season. Is the 5th place a false position for a team with just 2 wins in their last 7 league games? Borussia Dortmund are flying high under the guidance of Lucien Favre. The ex-Nice manager came with a reputation and he's duly delivering. The team are top of the Bundesliga and 6 points clear of second placed Bayern Munich. Will they win their first Bundesliga title since 2011/12? 9 wins from their last 10 league games suggests they are in no mood to give this top spot up easily. The reason I want to back Dortmund for the win here, asides from the price, is that they've discovered that habit of grinding out results away from home. Only twice this season have they won an away game by more than 1 goal. The 2-1 loss away to Fortuna Dusseldorf was a blip that they've overcome with little fuss. I'm sure they'll falter again soon but I think they should win here. 32. I think it's more a case of other people assume we're down. Fulham had the financial clout to lure bigger name players over but ourselves and Huddersfield didn't have that luxury. We arguably had the better of Arsenal in midweek getting 19 shots on goal. The 4 point gap is an issue. As a Cardiff fan, I still believe we can stay up and that's the general feeling around the club. I don't blame you all for doubting it. Looking at the facts, it's the obvious choice. I am going to remain optimistic though. I definitely think we can get something against Bournemouth if Warnock picks the right side.

  36. Donna Vekic (+4.5 Games) to beat Petra Kvitova at 1.98 with 888 I was preparing the explication for this one but there is no need to do it because four-leaf has done it in his post. The fatigue from Kvitova after a lot of matches played and the good form from Vekic are the main reasons. I watched Alexandrova and she had some kind of problem/pain during the match. I don’t know what she had exactly but she and her coach looked a little bit worried. During the second set looks like their plan was “go on and if we lost the second set we retire” but even with that handicap she won in straight sets. If somebody else has seen the match and knows what she had exactly or can find some info about this would be good.

  37. Donna Vekic to beat Petra Kvitova at 4.00 with bet365 I expect Petra to run out of steam here as she's playing for the fourth straight week and now on a different continent having to travel from Melbourne to St. Petersburg. Donna is not as forgiving as Vika was in the last round and she's defenitiely in decent form or whatever form you can expect from Donna to have nowadays and she's good enough to take advantage of any fatigue that Petra has. Same thing happened last season in St. Petersburg when Caroline Wozniacki came from Melbourne after winning AO as she won her first match but went out to Daria Kasatkina in the match after. Highly likely that Petra should start feeling some fatigue and finally get knocked out before the final of a tournament again after reaching two successive finals down under. Petra wins this match probably if she's 100% but chances are she's not gonna be 100% this time.

  38. Vera Zvonareva to beat Darya Kasatkina at 2.12 with Unibet Aryna Sabalenka to beat Ekateryna Alexandrova 2-0 at 1.86 with Unibet Going against Kasatkina once again, she's still to get going and has no match practice going into this, while Zvonareva looked good in the second part of her previous match. It's mainly a bet against Kasatkina though. The other bet is very much for Sabalenka, on the other hand, as she's playing well again and and she's a level above Alexandrova in nearly every single respect. I didn't watch Alexandrova today, but she could've easily lost against Boulter in the previous round had Boulter not been such a headcase.

  39. i've never seen team as bad as udinese. they are so average throughout. fiorentina have hit their stride and are on the up in the closing stages of the season. i can see their momentum continuing. inter milan has always had problems against lowly opposition. they just can break teams down that easily. they are no free flowing side. i would refrain from betting on bologna and for me this match is just inviting trouble. skip the best bet sampdoria is full of goals at the moment and i think they have some good quality in the team. napoli are very solid under ancelotti with manager full of experience but i can't see this match going all their way. sampdoria will probably score once or twice i wouldn't discount chievo getting a result. they have opened up recently and are having a go. empoli are also struggling to down at the bottom end of the table and the match will be evenly contested. i would try away win juventus has to key players out mandzukic and pjanic and it's hard to back against them at home but i like parma confidence in these types of games. they will be competitive and it wouldn't surprise me if they score and even hold on for a result

  40. Aryna Sabalenka to beat Alison Van Uytvanck at 1.55 with betfair Alison started the year with an injury in her first match in Auckland. She won in Hobart against Brengle (7-6, 7-5) but then lost in the next round against Schmiedlova (6-3, 6-2) and lost in the first round of the AO against Wozniacki (6-3, 6-4) so she has not started well this year. She has win against Flipkens (6-2, 6-4) in the first round here. Sabalenka started the year by the best way, winning in Shenzen. She won there against Tatjana Maria, Alexandrova, Sharapova, Yafan Wang and Riske. She lost in Sydney against the winner of the tournament: Kvitova and was surprised by Anisimova in the AO after her wins against Boulter and Kalinskaya.
