Hi guys, I think a thread dedicated to accas would be very popular actually. Like I've said before, not everyone has the cash to lump on £50 or more, certainly the majority don't. As for the ELO Ratings, I'm thinking they also need their own thread or even forum - open for discussion. The ratings were devised by me around 15 or so years ago, and they are alarmingly accurate at times, but of course can only be a guide. They are appearing confusing to some and my explanation could definitely be a lot better, so it sounds like a dedicated section on them on the forum would be a good idea, so I can answer any queries.3 points -

my bets today are: Aston Villa to beat Derby at 2.5 - I watched the game against Newcastle and Villa was not that bad, could have got a point out of that game with a bit of luck. Derby is struggling aswell lately so I think this is a good opportunity for Villa to turn tings around. Preston to beat QPR at 2.15 - QPR has a few injuries in defence, Preston has won 3 out of the 4 latest home league games. Wigan - Nottingham Under 2,5 goal 1,6 - Pitch is in bad condition so it should be a very likely outcome. A draw might be a good bet aswell Newcastle and Brentford should win easily at home. But im not gonna risk it for these low odds. This league is to unpredictable for that2 points -
Nice call by the way to avoid St Etienne.. They've lost me my big acca of the week end... and as usual, only one match makes me loose... So frustrating, how could they be so poor against Caen.. Grrr..1 point

Not sure someone quite new here like me is the right person to do it... @StevieDay1983 ? I like how you do a sum up each time for every league, push for feedbacks, that's why i like so much the 5 big leagues topics... Or maybe @Sir Puntalot ? @andrewcalo seems to me you're also an accas enthusiast, wanna do it? Or too much work with those stats? If nobody want to start it, let me know, i'll try to do my best..! Agreed for separate thread each week btw, sounds good and easier to deal with and to become a popular topic...1 point -

Villarreal - Real Madrid, PICK Real Madrid AH -0,75 @1,88 PINNACLE 5/10 Match between 6th and 1st placed team in Spanish La Liga will be played on El Madrigal in Villarreal and will start at 20:45. Main referee will be Avalos who loves cards. Villarreal is coming to match after 0-1 win in Rome, but they played with reserved squad, so team won't be too tired, even though Bruno and Soriano played for bigger part of the game. Maybe Escriba will make some changes, after team performed solid in Rome, and maybe someone from "reserves" will receive chance from 1st minute today. Soldado is doubtful, while otherwise Escriba has no injury or suspension concerns. Real Madrid is coming to match after defeat on Mestalla, but I am not too surprised by result, as if who, than Valencia was always problematic opponent for big teams, even now, when they are placed far from where club as Valencia should be. Real will miss Varane and Danilo, but Pepe and Carvajal are even better choices right now. Carvajal is in my opinion best right full back in the world, solid in defence, and exceptional in attack. Bale is back in the team, we'll probably see him from first minute after a long time, and I think that Gareth is the most important player of this team. With him, their options in attack are much wider. After defeat against Valencia, there was nothing else on my mind than to back Real Madrid in next match, and luckily I won't need to catch high asian handicaps, but they are playing against decent opponent and odds are fine. They are simply stronger, stronger in aerial duels, stronger in midfield, Villarreal will need to be much more careful on their flanks that they are used to be against weaker opponents, and if Rome won here with 4 goals difference, then I don't know why Real Madrid couldn't win with at least 2 goal difference. On the other hand, Sevilla won, and has same amount of point than Real, Barca is let's say winning points even if they are playing disastrous, and 1st place is far from guaranteed in Spain. Everything can change, and Zizou won't allow to lose 2 matches in row.1 point

There is many doubtful players in OM, I don't know why exactly, but more and more I have feeling, that OM will have big problems today. Besides after checking last updates, I decided to skip St. Etienne match, even if odds looks valuable, they will miss so many important players, including Hamouma and without him their attacking line is totally different. I even prefer to bet on Caen not to score than St. Etienne 1 here, or maybe win to nil, just to catch higher odds... Even if I lost on last time with Lyon 1st half, I am going with them again. They are simply too good and I don't believe that they can miss everything they missed against Dijon in first half. Their first halves are strong normally, and without Diabate in lineup of Metz, I think that they have one big problem less, as they have problems with covering tall players (Tavares of Dijon)... Lyon vs Metz Besides... yesterday it looked that I will have finally a good weekend, and I didn't see the match, but I can not believe what Lille did again. Having 2-1 and than losing 2-3, while Lorient disappointed me again. Looks that I trust this match too much...1 point

I would love a topic where we could trade our lists of potential games which could fit in an accas the week end.. do a kind of playlist, argue, comment, praise the winners (with screenshots of course) This week, some matchs could go well in an acca, i wouldn't take any risks this week, but it's tempting: PSG + Real + St Etienne+ Lazio + Liverpool... total odds at 12. That would be nice to put something on it, but not a good feeling this week. You could even add: Double chance Celta Vigo 2N + Double chance Sampdoria 2N... that's for the 5 big leagues ont this week, nothing else really tempting or with a good value.. So I don't know if someone want to make a topic, only on the 5 big leagues, from trebbles to 8 or 9 games combined... it will be just for fun, no ROI expectation here.. Just trying to hit something1 point -

@Rivilearner I like a little acca on the side, it's a bad vice i know but i've won a few with odds between 30 and 80 (lost 95% of course), betting between 2 to 20 euros, and between 4 to 8/9 matchs, depending if i include a few double chance or Draw no bet, or even a few draws to raise the odds.. I know there is no point of doing accas, that i'm going to lose, i don't mind, it's a lottery ticket, i just like to play them, it's a vice ;-), i've had so many times 7 or 8 matchs good out of 9, always loosing on the last one (lately Liverpool, City, Napoli and Lyon made me lose a few good accas)... If you bet accordingly, IMO it's perfectly right and quite funny to do 1 or 2 acca on the side... But it's been years that i try to find a good system, but never found one.. I've just lost so many accas during ages, that time after time you improve a bit, it took me years to learn how to stick with reasonable odds on my accas, go on 4 games and not 5, not putting my beloved teams in them (i still put PSG and monaco for months in every of my accas, lol), but they cost almost nothing, and a good win every month or two month cover easily the cost of these "irrational" bets.. And who knows, i know one day the planets will be aligned, it's been so close so many times... So don't hesitate to share your point of view on your next accas!1 point -
Going with Gladbach DNB @ 1.97. Dieter Hecking seems to have sorted out things. He has 5 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses in his 8 games in charge so far. Raffael being available for them again will be a big plus too.1 point

I'm not sure we're going to see @Mindfulness for a couple of days after that win for the Eagles yesterday. The theory was proved correct with Palace winning. It was tight though. Disappointing result for Middlesbrough. It's now 9 games in the league without a win for Karanka's men. He must be getting a twitchy bum if Ranieri got the sack! Only Tottenham versus Stoke today in the Premier League. I've backed Kane as my captain in my fantasy football team so I'm backing him to score any time. I'm also tempted to back Tottenham to win with a -1 handicap.1 point -

Indeed, I have to back St Etienne too. Price up to 1.85 though now, a bit strange. - Caen 1 win on the road this season - ASSE won 4 of last 6 - ASSE only lost to Nice at home back in December - They rested players in Europa vs United Now... why is the price rising? PSG @ 1.615 also tempting considering they need to keep up with Monaco and Nice despite playing away vs Marseille. Marseille win 69% of home games, PSG 69% of away games. Even the meaningless H2H has PSG winning all games. These two are definitely on my radar, but Marseille's home form is off-putting; PSG should be priced at 1.80 IMO. edit: The OVER 2.5 for Marseille - PSG @ 1.80 will be my pick. Marseille - PSG O2.5 @ 1.80 ASSE - Caen 1 @ 1.851 point -
They have conceded 44 in their last 7, averaging over 6 per game vs Bayern. 6-0 5-0 9-2 3-1 8-0 5-0 8-0!1 point

If im being honest, I would back Monaco (h) at odds over 2.00 to beat any team in the world. So 2.40 to beat City looks yummy. Will have a look at Dortmund on the handicap but the lack of away goal does make things sticky so value maybe not there. Seville odds will drop closer to the time I think but 1.95 again, is pretty decent. Also, PSG at 7.00? Way, way too high. If Barca don't get the early goal I can easily see frustration from the stands and PSG can pick them off on the counter. 1-0 or 2-0 is not completely out the question. The alternative is 4-0 Barca1 point

St Etienne are as high as 1.80 to beat Caen. Very tempting as they are big favourites for me. Caen awful on the road also.1 point

Atalanta were sitting at 2.3 at HT v Napoli. Having watched the 1st half it was a very even game, with the (a) side edging it. Well safe to say that was far far too high and Atalanta despite being down to 10 men are 0-2 up with 10 to play and very good value for the win so far. EDIT Atalanta are growing into a formidable outfit. It would be great to see them in europe next year. Caldara ps Everyone should start betting 2-0 Juve CS as a rule.1 point -

Guingamp vs Monaco Away win, Monaco O1.5 Sorry, surely too late to place a bet. If Monaco play at their level, Guingamp is not able to resist. Monaco is on top, defeat on wednesday is not important, they will go on. Nancy vs TFC TFC+0.5 Hard situation and hard serie for Nancy even at home. On the other hand, back of confidence for TFC since the arrival of Delort, and a good mercato. Draw in PSG was not a hazard or a backlash after Barça. More risky bets : away win, Andy Delort any time scorer. Angers vs Bastia Home win A current good run for Angers specialy at home, Bastia is well known to be very poor away. Tensions in Bastia are great : fans demand the head of the coach, players critizise each other... They will play again on 1st of march at home against Nantes, maybe they will focus on these instead of Angers. Rennes vs Lorient BTS Obviously, I wait more for a Lorient's goal than Rennes... We've seen and explained that since the left of Grosicky and N'Tep, add to Gourcuff's injury, results are poor (no victory since 4th of december). Nevertheless, it's a derby in Bretagne and both teams will fight and score. Lyon vs Metz Home Win, Handicap, Lyon O1.5, Lyon O2.5 Back in track for Lyon ? More than a tennis result on thursday against AZ, but is it a reference ? Nevertheless, it's a double result good for confidence and Lyon has something to prove against Metz after the incidents of first wing (match interrupted after serious incidents of Metz'fans, match has to be played again). ASSE vs Caen Home win Les Verts too much tender against The Reds, but it will enough against this team of Caen especially at home. Good luck1 point

ah PL is finally back... it was about time! Tough week this one. @betcatalog good point above (again ;-)).. I'd love to follow you on this, and i would combined it with West Brom in a draw no bet. I would also go on Everton combined with a Liverpool win monday... don't like monday's match, but i've a good feeling about Liverpool, I don't see Leicester even catch a draw or even score... It would be better to go on a draw no bet on this one, but i'll pass and follow my gut, Liverpool is gonna do a hell of a match, and this time Schmeichel won't be able to stop everything like in Sevilla! So 2 combined bets, and a very good feeling about both, which is usually a bad sign (and agreed, Defoe scares too each time i'm betting against sunderland): > Chelsea-Swansea 2,5 Over + West Brom Draw no bet. Total odds: 2,2 > Win Everton + Win Liverpool. Total odds: 2,21 point

my form of late you would make a fortune out of laying my picks A red card last week screwed up a good Forfar perfomance. Here are my two tickets for today. Falkirk, Aberdeen, St Johnstone, Hibernian, Newcastle and Mansfield £10 pays £150 West Brom, Preston, Fleetwood, Coventry, and Exeter £10 pays £386. The above line makes sense to me, Falkirk played well last week and should have enough to put Dumbarton away. Aberdeen and St Js will be boyed by Rangers loss last night and should give them that extra push today, Hibs well are a class above that division, Newcastle promo push and i like Mansfield in this spot. The second line is more speculative with 4 of the teams having solid recent home form and are decent sides, Coventry i think are going to start getting results and i fancy them to win this 6 pointer at the bottom of league 1. Tail at your own Risk haha I am due one now tho with the luck I've had last few weeks1 point -
West Brom are my value pick this weekend. Quite a tricky weekend so would definitely advise sticking to singles.1 point

Hi Guys! Agreed mostly with what's above about Real Madrid, i'm backing them too on this one, villareal just played also midweek, even if they were nearly out. But this week is pretty difficult... Espanyol is tempting, but so many injuries.. But i'll back them on this one, Ossasuna has a few injuries too, they've done a few "not bad" matchs which worries me... but overall, Espanyol is pretty solid these times, mostly at home... No Aduriz, no Raul Garcia, no Laporte fot Bilbao, with a 2-0 loss this week at Nicosie... Too risky.. even at home, Granada is rising lately, playing better... Sevilla seems to me the other reasonable choice for this week end, so... Other games are not very interesting, I wouldn't back Celta, Barca neither, nor Valencia My bet for this week is : > Real madrid win at Villareal, combined with a win of Espanyol at home (i've a bad feeling about espanyol, but they performed so well recently.. kinda trust them). Total odds: 2,65 > Sevilla Win odds: 2,1 Good luck guys!1 point

Sydney DNB(1.9 @ marathonbet) - City was impressive in their win last week but that was against the 2nd worst team in the league(the table do lie at times). Sydney has been consistent over the course of the season and 1 loss doesn't change that. I feel they can bounce back here. Roar 1x2 - Wellington Phoenix is in a mess at the moment. Their best midfielder Roly Bonevacia and leftback Tom Doyle have been dropped as a result of last week horror show. Roar will most probably start a stronger team as compared to that rubbish midweek team in the ACL. Victory -1(1.7 @ pinnacle) - It's Adelaide 3rd game in a week so I expect some rotation. They will also be going to China to play against Jiangsu Suning next week. Victory already defeated them twice 2-0, don't see any reason why they can't complete the treble here. Perth Glory DNB(1.7 @ pinnacle) - If Castro can continue his good form, then Perth good form should continue as well. WSW should be starting their usual starting XI although there is a chance they have 1 eye on next week ACL game. Attacking midfielder Nico Martinez may start from the bench after playing 2 games in the past week. Mariners +0.5/DNB(depends on you) - Derby game so form is out of the window again. Jets best defender Nigel Boogaard is suspended so their backline could be abit inexperienced. Not really that good when going up against 1 of the best poacher(Roy O'Donovan) in the league. Could be a crash and burn weekend as I'm backing 4 favourites of the 5 games. Victory is my most confident bet.1 point -

A lovely blend of matches to bet on this weekend. It is the EFL Cup Final on Sunday plus the usual schedule for the Championship, League One, League Two, SPL, and Scottish Championship. @salmonman, you called the Fulham away win. Great job. What are you liking this weekend? @allyhibs, well that was easier than I expected. Not sure about how you felt afterwards? You should follow it up with a solid win at home to Dunfermline right? What about the other games in the Scottish Championship? Any tips for us all south of the border? @DW_United, did you go for the Betfair offer? Fancy an accumulator this weekend? @canaries91, you hinted at a possible Millwall let-down. Did you back them in the end? Got any bets lined up this weekend? @nenri981, never back Newport this season! Cannot buy a win! They've now lost 6 of their last 8 league games and seem destined for National League football next season. Any basement division bets in the offing this weekend? @KikoCy, top work on Newcastle. Unfortunate about the BTTS with Huddersfield surprisingly being the pain. @Kenton Schweppes will be equally surprised at them keeping a clean sheet! @willie82, what did you bet on the Newport game? Hopefully, you backed a draw or equivalent bet? @Neubs, any fixtures catching your eye this weekend? @Thales, you also fell foul of Millwall! Are you hoping for any better luck in certain fixtures this weekend? @Tiffy, tough game with your boys welcoming Reading this weekend. Very low price on you guys at 1.61 to win. Is it worth it? Reading have only one defeat in their last seven league games... but that defeat was their most recent game! Also keen to hear the views of regular contributors to this forum such as @Tanktop, @Icongene, @skyblues88, @silverfox, @waynecoyne, @sajtion, and @allthethings.1 point
