  1. France Ligue2: Bourg - Le Havre Bourg-en-Bresse are back to their free and easy ways, play a very open style, are comfortable on the ball when in possession, quite pleasing on the eye and look vulnerable when defending, in other words, they are fun to watch ! Last season their games produced an average 2.79 goals and only relegated Creteil conceded more. They met a pair of teams with a defend first, ask questions later approach in their two opening games and it took a while to return to normal service, but their last five starts have seen 20 goals with both scoring in each and any time they face a team who will not sit back, we should see goals and plenty of them. The two league meetings with Le Havre last season produced nine goals with eight for HAC and it is hard to see the visitors coming with just a point in mind. They have lost their way after a great start to their season and they are now five league and cup games without a win, through which they have conceded 10 goals in three home starts (!) and we are talking about the pre season promotion favourites here. There is no doubt that Le Havre are the stronger squad, but BEBP probably have a little more confidence right now and do play with a bit of a swagger, both to score........1-3 feels about right, but best value has to be ........ over 2.5 goals 2.16 asian line/Sportmarket from Clubgowi newsletter

  2. Back Yoshihito Nishioka to beat Ilya Marchenko at 2.00 with Skybet Good odds for Nishioka here imo. He's already crushed Marchenko once in this very season and he should have the pressure off with Daniel getting the first point, so I'm not even sure what makes him the underdog here. The Ukrainian might've had a better run in the US Open, but Nishioka is improving and he's had the better season before that, so I'm more than happy to go with the home player in this one. Back Elias Ymer to beat Thiemo De Bakker at 2.25 with Bet365 This looks like one of those matches in which home conditions could decide the eventual result and that's why I'm going with Ymer here. Neither guys has been too impresive so far in this season, but De Bakker has perhaps underperformed a bit more given that he did have some actual expectations going into this season, while Ymer is still young and with plenty of time to prove his skills. Not sure how the conditions look like over in Sweden, but one would hope that they'll suit Ymer's style a bit more as well.

  3. Altrincham v Gainsborough I opposed Altrincham on Tuesday night and Nuneaton had an even easier evening than I thought they would as they won 4-1. That made it 19 goals conceded in their last 6 games and they have still yet to win this season. They are due for a windfall as Duncan Watmore’s 10th appearance for Sunderland triggered a clause in the transfer deal between the two sides. That will be spent on the team, but that isn’t going to come quick enough for this game and I am happy to take 11/8 about a Gainsborough side who have put two good results together as they beat AFC Telford last weekend and Halifax on Tuesday night. I am sure Jim Harvey will sort Altrincham out, especially with that money to spend, but they look a poor side at the moment. East Thurrock v Whitehawk Another game with two sides from the same division and I fancy Whitehawk to progress. Getting Richard Hill in as boss was a very good move and he should be able to sort out what is a strong Whitehawk team on paper. They put in a very good effort to beat a Hampton & Richmond side who were joint top going into the game. They should continue to improve under Hill. East Thurrock have done better than I thought they would after promotion, but they have still only won one of their last 6 games and Whitehawk certainly have the stronger side. BetVictor’s 19/10 about an away win looks too big in my view. Eastbourne v Met Police I can’t believe Eastbourne are only 4/6 to win this game. Granted they have only won one of their last 6 games and it was disappointing they lost to Welling 3-1 on Tuesday night, but their home form has been strong so far this season on their new 3G pitch. They have won 3 of 5, drawn with Ebbsfleet and their first defeat came against top of the table Maidenhead last weekend. On the whole they have been playing well this season and certainly well enough to see off a poor Met Police side from the level below. They are currently bottom of the Ryman Premier and have only picked up 2 points from their first 7 games. Eastbourne have only conceded 3 times at home and Met Police are struggling for goals. The 4/6 with Betfred and Stan James looks a big price. Sutton Coldfield v Hereford On the face of it wanting to back a team away from home at 4/5 (Bet365) when they play in the league below their hosts would seem a crazy decision, but I think Hereford are value even at those odds. They already look like they are going to run away with the Southern League Division One South & West. They are 7 out of 7 having scored 22 and conceded just 3. They clearly have a team that could be competitive in the league above and they will fancy a cup run in their first season in the FA Cup since reforming a couple of years ago. Sutton Coldfield play in the level above (Evo-Stik Northern Premier), but they are in the relegation zone having failed to win so far this season. Blyth Spartans put 5 past them last Saturday and I reckon there probably isn’t a great deal between Blyth and Hereford. If I am right with that last comment then the 4/5 is worth taking. FA Cup Acca I am not one for tipping up acca’s usually, but when it comes to the early rounds of the FA Cup I always look for a few of the short price teams who look solid and put them in a acca. Last season it proved profitable and hopefully it will again on Saturday. Halifax travel to a side 3 leagues below them in Ashton Athletic and shouldn’t have too many issues in beating them. Rugby Town have only one once in the league this season and travel to an in form Brackley side who are two leagues above them. Indeed I am surprised they aren’t shorter than 1/2. Harrogate are flying high in the National League North and travel to a Bridlington side who are 3 leagues below them. St Albans are doing very well in the National League South this season and they travel to a Dereham Town side who are struggling 2 leagues below. Havant & Waterlooville have a very strong team for the Ryman Premier and have won all their games since losing their first. They host Highworth Town who play 2 leagues below them. Histon caused a massive shock in the FA Cup when beating Leeds on ITV a few years ago, but they are a poor side now having got one point, scoring twice and conceding 18. They have suffered successive relegations and it could be a third. Wealdstone should have way too much for them at home. The acca pays 5.8/1 with Stan James.

here we go my accumulator picks for this bloody weekend are £10 will return £10.000 brighton to beat burton - after beating huddersfield it should give them lift to beat the wannabes blackburn to beat rotherham - go to be on home team because they are very similar and blackburn are desperate to get one win already, just to edge it barnsley to beat reading - wow is there way of stopping barnsley. i don't think so, they are flying and should score here as they have done in all games so far sheff utd to beat peterborough - i feel there is a little buzz around sheffield. their form has improved. they should wrap this one up at home coventry to beat oldham - i'll give coventry the benefit of doubt because they must be desperate to win. one goal should do it cambridge to beat morecambe - cambridge need a huge performance and i think they will be up for it. it won't be easy for visitors blackpool to beat carlisle - home side to edge going for promotion as carlisle never look like winning drew 5 out of 7 huddersfield to beat qpr - visitors have lost their way a lot and coming to huddersfield on the back of trashing not easy to bounce back swindon to beat bury - swindon win their home games more often then not so gotta go with them. i think bury have rode their luck enough good luck

  8. Odds provided by bet365. One factor to remember when betting this week is not only did Italian sides play in Europe in mid-week but a full schedule of fixtures are lined up for mid-week this coming week so some sides might switch their squad up for this weekend's fixtures. The one game I am drawn to is Inter Milan versus Juventus. Inter suffered a shock 2-0 defeat in the Europa League on Thursday night to Israeli side Hapoel Be'er Sheva. They will be keen to rectify that this weekend. Juventus have started positively with three wins though but it has been far from straight forward. I can see a draw here. I would also back both teams to score.

  10. Today 16th of September 19:00 Haugesund-Vålerenga This game will be played at Haugesund stadion. Both teams use natural grass at home. With seven points till the end of this season Haugesund hopes for a place in a medal zone . They are in 3d place 39 points. No defeat for them in last 5 games played ,three victories and two draw, last one againts Molde 0-0 last week. At home are stronger, last 6 games played draw against Rosenborg 0-0 won 4 and lost just 1 againts Sogndal 0-1,also collected 24 points in 11 home games goals 26:14. Defender N. Tubić 8/0 and midfielder H. Hajradinović 21/3 are suspended for hosts. Last mutua meeting ended 0-1 in Oslo in Haugesund favor. Vålerenga is in 9th place with 29 points. 11 points in away games goals 14:21. Three wins and two draw in last 5 games played. Last point taken at home againts Stromsgodset 1-1. For Vålerenga it will be the most harder away game this season, and i see equilibrium match but i see more favorites Haugesund to win this game. Pick. Haugesund (0.5 AH) 2.25 @Sbobet 4/10. Good Luck

  11. 7 teams have not won a 1st half of any of the 4 games played this season. Stoke, Swansea, Sunderland, Southampton, West Brom, West Ham, Crystal Palace. Stoke have just 1 1st half point, Swansea, Sunderland and Southampton just 2 points. In addition, neither Stoke, Swansea or Sunderland have scored a 1st half goal. These slow starts are actually quite predictable. These teams are battling. Out of form, losing players, poor transfer windows, lacking in confidence. My feeling is that for Stoke, West Ham, Southampton and Crystal Palace, this is just a slow start. They have the players to win games. They will climb the table and be safe. The other 3 (Swansea, Sunderland, WBA) have got real problems. Their managers understand one thing. You have to keep it tight for 45 minutes and if possible, don't concede the 1st goal. Then build on this and try and win it in the second half. If these teams have to play catch-up, they are in big trouble. They don't have the players to do it !!! All three of these teams had poor transfer windows, but realistically Sunderland are in the worst spot because they lost Allerdyce. I have excluded Hull from this group of teams because they are showing unity and a more than decent team spirit. They are also winning games ! This weekend I see more pain for Sunderland in a tough away game to Spurs. ANything could happen with WBA and West Ham, but West Ham have so much more potential than WBA at this moment. Just have to rectify their showboating trainsmash from last week. Southampton and Swansea are struggling, and I can't see Swansea getting more than a point away. So the bottom dwellers struggles will continue for another week. This season looks to be one where the relegation battle will be some way off 40 points. Having watched plenty of games, I just can't see where some of these teams are going to get 35 points.

  14. Wow, watched the United game and it was painful. For a second there I thought van Gaal was still in charge You could see how badly he spent 200 million pounds, because not one player he bought had any impact on the game. Energy - low, Pace - low, Speed -low,desire -low, intensity - low. It took them into the 90th minute to have a shot on target. 1 SHOT ON GOAL IN 91 MINUTES. !!! It also does not help when the Feynoord player was offside when getting the through ball. Glad I dodged this bullet

  18. Very miserable weekend for me in La Liga. Barca left on the bench stars such as: Messi, Iniesta, Alba and Suarez. Very stupid move, and defeat for Barca. Also Mendes club - Valencia has a big problem and if they don't change anything they will be the desperate club. Real, Atletico and Sevilla are justified the role of favorites. What you think about next round, I'll share odds from mollybet on the link below!

  19. Serie A: AC Milan - Udinese Milan won 3-2 their last game on home ground, should have been 3-1-/4-1, but could easily have ended 3-3 with Torino missing a late penalty, they then lost 4-2 at Napoli and giving up six goals and a mised penalty is hardly the dream defensive start and whilst they have had 15 days to work on solutions, they clearly need it. Suspensions today to Mbaye Niang and Juraj Kucka are hardly ideal and combined with the injury to Andrea Bertolacci and knocks to others, that leaves them very shorthanded in the middle of the park. Upfront, Niang has been very influential since breaking into the team with six goals and six assists in 18 starts and Milan won just two from 11 when he picked up an injury and was sidelined at the end of last season. Udinese have avoided defeat in half of their last ten league and cup visits to the San Siro to play Milan and that alone suggest value in the quote for the visitors, they will travel a little nervously after an opening day mauling at Roma, but have steadied the ship with three points and a cleansheet at home to Empoli and can take a point and a goal or two today (3.75 to score 2+ feels big). Udinese +0.75 ball 2.08 asian line/Sportmarket from Clubgowi newsletter
