    Default Patsy Houlihan - greatest snooker player ever?

    A name I only vaguely remembered from early rounds of snooker tournaments in the 70's and early 80's, but rated by Jimmy White as the best player he ever saw - Patsy Houlihan died last week.

    Found this interview he gave to the Observer earlier this year - absolutely fascinating stuff & well worth a read for anyone interested in the early days of the snooker boom. Not many characters like this around any more sadly
