Re: Spain > La Liga Ante-Post 2011-12 Season
As usual this will be a two horse race does anyone really see Barcelona not retaining the trophy come May? I think 4/6 looks generous given just how good this team are, Madrid still looked way off them last season and they'll need massive improvement to catch them. Surely Barcelona must go in your season long multi bets.

Re: Spain - La Liga > Ante-Post 2011-12 Season
Barca are correctly favourites but the odds are crap so I'll avoid them as I think Real will run them very close. Ultimately the title will be decided by the Clasicos and if Real can hold Barca to a draw in at least one of them who knows what can happen?

Re: Spain - La Liga > Ante-Post 2011-12 Season
I think I'll take Ronaldo TGS when I can.
Unlike Messi who scores regularly but doesnt get many hattricks Ronaldo generally scores 2-3 in one game then doesnt score for a game, then scores another 2, etc.
I expect this to play a major part in the Pichichi contest as I expect him to get many goals against teams that have given up after 2-0, and Real may give him chance after chance as they want him to be the Pichichi - see the last few games this year for details.
He's on FKs as well so that's a bonus.

Malaga had signed many interesting players. I think Malaga will be another team will fight Champions League place.
Team potencial is similar to Villareal or Sevilla with Van Nistelroy, Tullalan, Batista, Joaquin, Buanannotte, Monreal, Sergio Sanchez or Mathijsen. Probably will sign Villareal stars Cazorla or borja and Lucho Gonzalez.
This season Malaga must be considered Top Places team

Re: Spain - La Liga > Ante-Post 2011-12 Season
some teams with too many problems and there are risk to automatic relegation due to unpaid players in Primera and Segunda
There are teams negotiating with your players for to retire accusations against them due to unpaid contracts.
Team that have debts 1 August with players will be automatic relegated to Segunda B

Bookies will have cottoned on to Malaga. Unibet had them at 7/1 for the Top 4 a month ago cant see it being that high ever again.

Third favourite Valencia @ 52

Argument in favour of Real, possibly, could be that Guardiola hasn't had a bad season in charge yet, and will eventually (''bad'' in this context would mean finishing second, simply). If anyone can take advantage it's Mourinho, so maybe Real are worth a punt.

Re: Spain - La Liga > Ante-Post 2011-12 Season
Yes, i still do them but i am waiting for more bookies to release their match bets. Only William Hill have them out so far i think. I have been successful on them in three of the last four seasons. Last season only Arsenal vs Man City and Hereford vs Cheltenham let me down. You can private message me once you get to 50 posts, otherwise put some of your ideas of the season match bets in the threads for the right division rather than in the Spanish league and you can get feedback that way.

Re: Spain - La Liga > Ante-Post 2011-12 Season
50 posts lol ill be here all day, ive tried putting them in right sections ( i think ) but hardly any replies, then i saw your posts from a few years ago and seems like you know a think or 2.
Ive just seen the Hills list, anything you fancy off that?
Anyway around the private message thing, maybe email or msn?
Is there a certain group i should post it in, as i just put it in each division to see if anyone would reply.
Cheers Boyd

Re: Spain - La Liga > Ante-Post 2011-12 Season
If you start a new thread in the UK and Irish football forum section entitled season match bets you will be able to make your selections in there if you put reasoning to your bets why you think one team will come above another. Of the ones on the Hills website, i'd fancy Cardiff to come above Blackpool, Brentford above Leyton Orient, Bolton above QPR, Huddersfield above Sheff Wed and Bury above Stevenage.
